I stayed here for the marathon over the weekend, although it wasn't as close to the finish line as i'd been told (not the hotels fault) my stay here was still very good. You turn right and there's the massive long strip of shops for you to enjoy. Turn left and there's some decent little Irish bars and restaurants for you to enjoy. The staff were very helpful, professional and friendly.

The hotel is modern and clean, with helpful staff and good sized rooms. Breakfast was not included in our package but the breakfast spread looked okay. The hotel is 15 minutes walk from the old city area and the shopping street Mariahilferstrasse is just at the end of the street.

Only a two minute walk from the Underground at Zieglengasse, from which you can connect to Wien Mit and the airport directly and quickly. Also very convenient for shops and restaurants. Staff were all very helpful and friendly and spoke good English - as we have no German. Breakfast was particularly generous and of high quality with an excellent variety of food and drink. The room, and everywhere else, was very clean and the decor modern and bright. The area is quiet and bed comfy....everything... Read more

Hotel Anatol is very good situated, close to Mariahilf street (the main street with shopping stores in Wien). The room was very clean, nice and the breakfast was perfect. The staff is very friendly. I would definitely recommend the hotel to a friend.

A lovely, warm and helpful staff, both at reception and in the breakfast room. We had an amazing room on the 7th floor, 708, large, quiet and so comfortable! Even though breakfast was not included, we decided to have it there and it was fabulous. Hotel is convenient to the metro and the city centre.

Great room, location was perfect just cross the road to metro, surrounded by some really good restaurants and coffee shops. Did not like food at hotel, much better to eat out. Staff very helpful in giving directions. Good tours offered at hotel. Does not provide free airport transfers but will arrange best price for you.

We arrived at Vienna airport and just walked outside to the bus stops and got the bus 1187 that goes to Westbahnhof station about a 40 mins drive seeing some of the sights on route: the traffic in the evening is really bad so allow plenty of time to get to the airport if catching an evening flight. Just leave the station and cross over the road to the Mariahilfer Street a pedestrian road with lots of shops and restaurants an easy flat walk, take the 3rd turning on the right to Webgasse street ho... Webgasse is a relatively quiet street leading off arguably the city's major shopping streets for the larger stores. The junction of the two streets is also the entrance to a station on the city's underground system and is easily spotted because of the large U sign nearby. The line gives direct access to the centre of Vienna. Our hotel room was a good size for a city hotel, well-maintained and serviced (though not all rooms are provided with complimentary trays enabling guests to make their ... Read more

Very close to Mariahilferstrasse, and the u bahn so very easy to get to the main tourist attractions. The street is a one way street so and it wasn't noisy. We had upgraded to an executive room at the front, very spacious, beds extremely comfortable. They do have fans in the rooms but I could imagine that in the height of summer, it may get too hot, the rest of the year, its perfect. The staff are extremely helpful, from the housekeepers, to the receptionists. We had breakfast which you do have ... Read more

The location next to Maria Hilfer Strasse and the Subway Lines U3 and U4 is perfect for shopping and sight seeing. The Hotel itself has clean spacious rooms with comfortable beds. Perfect Wi-Fi. We stayed in a room on 4th floor with windows to the street. An open window and the fan kept the temperature during the night. When we stayed at the hotel it was about 27 degrees, The hotelrooms are probably not ideal during July, August when the temperature in Vienna can be above 30 degrees. For those h... Read more

Lovely hotel, spacious modern room. The staff were exceptionally helpful with great English. Breakfast was of a very high standard and beautifully presented and even the restaurant staff were really friendly and efficient. The Wi-Fi was fast and pull out bed comfortable so my teenager was happy. Well placed for shops and we accessed the main sites walking from the hotel but you could easily get a tram or the metro close by. Only slight criticism would be that there is no air conditioning so the... Read more

We spent 2 nights in this hotel. We were offered a reasonable rate to upgrade to a bigger room, which included a free drink, soft drinks and tea/coffee. We didnt have breakfast. The lack of a/c is the only downside but there are plenty of fans and we were able to sleep with the window open. The staff were very nice and friendly and very responsive. The hotel is in a quiet street but has a supermarket and a few restaurants. The u-bahn is at the top of the street and it only took a few minut... Read more

Great value for money, clean and comfortable rooms, very kindly andò professional staff and great position few steps from Westbahnof station. The only bad thing is the lack of air conditioning, even if they told us that they're working to solve this.

Nice hotel, easy train ride to most places and points of tourist interest. The chain Billa grocery is almost opposite the hotel which makes it convenient for picking up a quick snack or sandwich while you are still figuring out where to go.

The hotel is located in a good area just off one end of the main shopping street and has a convenient UBahn stop just a few minutes walk away. A great base to explore the city. The rooms are clean and stylish, with the only negative point being a lack of tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms. Drinks can be bought from reception. The staff are helpful and will book taxis, assist with map reading etc.

We stayed here for 3 night. Location wise ?? very good. Close to a metro station, right on the main street, very close to all the eating joints. Neat and clean. Rooms are nice and spacious. Basic stuff available. Little under staffed, so you have to wait for room service. There is NO AIR CONDITINING and in July Vienna is a little hot, so it becomes stuffy in the rooms. While they did give us a small cooler, however wasn??t as effective basis the room size. Also ?? we didn??t take the b... Read more

The hotel is clean and neat and met our standards for a 3 night stay vacation in Vienna. As mentioned by other travelers, there is no A/C, but the hotel provides a tower-fan which easily can be programmed for your need. The room provides a comfy bed and sufficient room for luggage. I would have been nice with a kettle for tea/coffee. The breakfast was not included in our booking, but the cost of 10 euro per person is worth paying. Our preferred hotel should be conveniently located in the city. It must be clean, safe, easy access to public transport, and near to restaurants/supermarkets. Austria Trend Hotel Anatol fits nicely into our criteria for the preferred hotel. We stayed in a family room which was large enough for 3 adults ( 1 queen size bed and 1 single bed). The room was clean and equipped with all the basic amenities including free wifi. There was no air-conditioning in the room and this has been mentioned in s... Read more

The best thing happened to me at this hotel was the fact that I arrived at Vienna very early in the morning, but they hotel staff gave me a room right away even though I had to basically wait till 2 pm. The room was spacious but not warm and beautiful, it was clean however. It is located at the shopping street of Vienna so if you'd like to do a lot of shopping this is the right neighborhood.

Fantastic hotel and great value for money! Like many reviews have stated there is not AC in the hotel so it does get hot. However, we had a big AC unit which cooled the room down. Excellent location, facilities, clean and modern. Would definitely return!

The room was spacious with all necessary amenities, such as fridge, hair dryer, tv, fan, safe etc. The hotel was exactly what we expected it to be. A very welcoming hotel. One of the hotel staff, Dilan had a great big smile to greet us when we stepped into the lounge. She has been fantastic and made our stay feel special. Nothing was too much for her and was always there to help and answer any queries we had. Can't speak highly enough of her. The only thing I would like to complain was the single bed size was too small (we stayed in classic room, no air conditioner but fan.

Great location near Westbahnhof, shopping street and U-bahn. Good breakfast, clean rooms, with comfortable beds and shiny bathroom. Free wi-fi. Incredibly helpful and friendly staff at reception and in the breakfast room. The only thing we can think of that was negative was a fan, but it can be put up with, if you buy earplugs. We recommend the hotel most warmly.

Please don't offer a (paid) upgrade to a hotel room with the offer of a free drink at the bar and "you can drink everything in the minibar also" only to discover the free drink is rubbish and the minibar contains two bottles of water and an orange juice! Mean-spirited stuff here, had to ask for everything, such as a kettle, tea and coffee, milk, water etc. Summary: A bit noisey, a bit dirty and a bit mean.

Pleasant hotel with friendly staff. The Zieglargasse Metro stop is a couple of minutes walk and Westbanhoff about ten minutes away. Breakfast was a buffet, and had a bit of everything, was tasty and helped keep us going for the day. We arrived very early and the receptionist helpfully looked after our bags until the official check in time. Rooms were clean bright and all you'd expect from this standard hotel.

We were in this hotel last week, and everything was perfect. Good location, kind and helpful staff, nice and clean/minimal art room. Breakfast is buffet, lot of things are bio (tea, coffee, milk, rolls, etc..). Metro station (Zieglergasse/Mariahilferstrasse) is 5 minutes walk, there is a Billa and some restaurant / Coffee shop (Greek restaurant, Indian restaurant) near the hotel. The famous Naschmarkt is 15 minutes walk. We liked it very much, and will go back in the future. I recommend it.
