I think it doesnt worth to be a 4 stars hotel. 3 is enough. little bit older. Breakfast is expensive and there is not too much thing to eat. But personnel is kind. Location is not very close to city center but is was around 10 min walk to University of Vienna which I wanted to be in. Price was fair so thats why I choosed.

Very beautiful experience. The rooms are big with an old time aroma having a white furniture which looks classy. I enjoined my staying there in this price segment. After all, when you are in Wien, you don't stay indoors... It is close to center of Wien, and you have place to park your car which is something special here. On the other side of the rode is an triangle rode island with more space for parking if in front of the Hotel is full...

Who gives out these stars? Atlanta is billed as old world Vienna and it is old, thatâ??s for sure, old and run down. This could be a beautiful hotel but it is badly in need of a complete makeover. The building façade is impressive but totally destroyed by a tacky burger joint on the ground floor corner. The flags over the entrance are dirty and frayed and the entrance door itself is of cheap aluminum that leads you into a hall that looks like the entrance to hostel. The reception is a pokey roo... I understand why this hotel gets mixed reviews. From the photos on the booking site we were expecting a big and beautiful room. Even our room description had a big old school high class hotel room on the photo, but the actual room was very small. Good thing we booked it six months ago with a good price, on the door inside the room were the current prices and they are 4x to the price we paid. Let's start then. Pros: Good position, you can walk to the city center, it takes ~20 minutes. Easy to ... Read more

Pros: huge room, beautiful views Cons: terrible service, dated interiors, sleazy clientele, hookers in and out at night, saw a man sleeping in the hallway of the 4th floor - not sure if he was a guest or a homeless person. Location is good if slightly removed from city center.

My family and I spent a few days in Vienna and we loved our stay at Atlanta Hotel because not only was very affordable but customer service was excellent. Transportation was just across the street from the hotel so that's definitely a plus!

We stayed in room 308 for 4 nights. The room was big and windows were very beautiful! Wi-fi worked very well. Hotel location is very good. Breakfast was simple, not worth of 8,50e in my opinion. We really liked this hotel, even it was little bit dated and worn.

We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The location is great, about 15min to the heart of the attractions. Metro was a 10 min walk and the tram seemed to pass by regularly although we didn't use it. The hotel is old, but I thought it was cute and interesting. We had a family room and it was large and very comfortable. Be aware that there isn't any AC but it wasn't terrible with the windows open. It was a little loud with the windows open because it's on a busy street but it didn't bothe... Read more

Good location 20 minutes walk to centre but trams pass outside and Ubahn 10 minutes. Rooms large, beds comfortable, fridge and safe in room, adequate bathroom all cleaned daily. Weather hot when we were there, no air con but large fan provider on request. Didn't try the breakfast but it appeared to be good value for money for Vienna! Reception staff helpful and always there. Not luxurious, a bit tired but very good value overall. Good wifi signal and bbc news available on tv.

The hotel is very bad. The worst hotel I've ever experienced. Worst service ever; the lady lied to us saying that the manager was on holiday when he was there the night before and we saw him later that day. The rooms were very dirty and the beds had hair on them. We told them about this problem and they told us that they will clean our room. We came back after they 'cleaned' the room and they didn't do anything other than make the bed. The breakfast was very bad and they didn't have many option... Read more

30 of us Indian contingent attending an academic conference stayed here in August & I believe we got a short shrift. The hotel staff thought we were overbearing guests & we thought they treated us in a cavalier manner. The hotel has a lovely facade & wood panel lounges but the single rooms were too cramped & poorly ventilated. It's non air conditioned hotel & in July it was unbearably hot. We had to negotiate hard for breakfast to be included in the package but it was not a cooked breakfast-brea... Read more

Got name from person we were visiting in neighborhood. Loved it. Elegant. With our guide and her two lovely children fast trolley ride to center of Vienna with only a modest walk. Had read negative comment about distance to center city which now seems odd. Great setting, friendly staff, nice room. Would go back. And a big shout out SOS The Bar under the raised tracks and Florian.

Hotel Atlanta in Vienna is a Very cosy hotel in an old classic building. The rooms are quite large and spacious with an extra sofa bed and big flat screen Tv. Very close to the city center 10 minutes easy walk. Great value for money. Strongly recommended. Wahringer strasse 35.

Stayed 1 night in this hotel and it was a pleasant stay. Rooms were massive with high ceilings. en-suit shower was good. The rooms have a key to lock the door instead of the usual key card so make sure you lock up before you leave your room! Close to the centre of Vienna and a nice burger bar next door. Enjoyed my stay!

Wasn't too sure about this hotel when I booked it but was fortunate enough to get a room on the top floor with a view over Vienna. For me, this was the room with most character and charm of all our acommodations in Europe. The guy at the front desk was very helpful, the breakfasts were served in a lovely breakfast room and were substantial. Location was good (but not great) with a 20 minute walk into the centre. Safe area at night. Our friends left their passports and cash in the room safe, and ... Read more
