Let me begin by conceding that Motel One does provide a very reliable product. You know exactly what you are going to get for what you paid, no matter what city you are in. The general high level of quality is impressively upheld everywhere, but alas, the chain's relentless level of standardisation, particularly in terms of its interior design scheme, may start to feel slightly oppressive. The bar and the public areas are always attractive, and the rooms are well-designed and aesthetically pleas... Read more

The journey from the airport to the hotel could not have been better. You jump on the number two bus and it stops right by the hotel with the journey time of maximum 20 minutes, for ‚?¨2.60 per person. The location is along the river so access to Mirabell Park and the old town is extremely easy to reach on foot. There is also a residence parking which I believe is charged at around ‚?¨15 a day, though side streets exist and you can park for free. As you walk in, the reception is directly oppos... Read more

The location of the hotel is great, just approximately 15 minutes easy walk to the old center of the town. The hotel is clean, comfy and the bar isn't too expensive so you can sit in and drink a beer if you don't feel like going out. The staff is very helpful, nice and kind.

This hotel is a little bit off the beaten path, we were in historic Salzburg and walked back to the hotel after dinner in the dark and we felt that our safety was compromised. It doesn't look unsafe, but because there aren't many people around in this part of town after dark it isn't safe. There were people down by the river who approached us, thankfully we were aware of this and we were able to get back into the hotel quickly. The hotel rooms were nice, clean and comfortable. The price is ... Read more

Motel One Mirabell is in the other side of the river to the old town of Salzburg. It is about a 15 minute walk in but the walk is lovely and scenic and we felt completely safe even late at night. It is located close to Mirabell Gardens and there are plenty of great restaurants nearby. The hotel is a very short work to the main station which is perfect for connecting journeys. As usual with this chain the rooms are spotless and the staff are lovely!

We stayed at the Motel One Mirabell for two nights during our visit to Salzburg. The hotel is well located near the station, old city, sights and landmarks and offers the safety of commercial standards which leave little to be concerned about. The facilities are neat, clean, modern and comfortable. We were fortunate to have been assigned a room with a view of the channel and the nearby castle. A full bar service is offered in the lobby lounge, however one is necessitated to dine elsewhere if ... Read more

We stayed here for two nights. The room was comfortable, with plenty of places to put things. You can open the windows. The bathroom had enough places to stash toiletries and hang clothes to dry. Nice towels and sheets. Included a hairdryer which only works if you keep a button depressed. We had the breakfast, typical European, which I like. I think this hotel is a good value without feeling cheap.

Modern and comfortable building, friendly staff, gorgeous view on the old part of Salzburg and the river, walking distance from the old district. Quite rooms. Affordable and reasonable price. For sure will book again when next time in Salzburg.

We stayed here for 2 nights and it's only about a fifteen minute walk from the old town, checked in no problem but as soon as we got in the room it was tiny. It's supposed to be eco friendly but whoever designed the room needs shooting, in a normal room you can put say a cup or glass next to the bed but if you're tired you have to either put it on the floor or get out of bed to put it on the table. Don't sit on the bed next to the bathroom because whoever comes out of the bathroom would hit you ... Read more

Good Hotel with very friendly and Professional staff! Walking distance to City Center about 20-30 minutes. I recommend to Book a room with River view (Salzach) - very nice! Nice and modern Roms. You Need to try one of the offered Gin's at the bar.
