Great place to stay for a reasonable price within walking to all the cities tourist attractions. It was very clean and the room were very comfortable the little "kitchenette was a real treat. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I was very pleased for at the price the rooms were well maintained.

Great hotel, the location was good but because it was right in the middle it was a little bit noisy but not annoyingly so. Travelodge's never disappoint and this one was great. The only thing that bothered me was the fake area in the middle where your view was like a painted wall, it was nice but it meant I didn't know what the weather was like outside. Still 100% recommend the hotel though! :-)

The hotel was very good, with a generous sized room which was clean and well serviced. The hotel is in close proximity to Sydney's main retail precinct, along with the train network, Circular Quay, the Opera House, Hyde Park etc.

Located centrally the Travelodge is convenient to the CBD, public transport and good dining options. Good value right in the middle of town. Check in is friendly and service very good. As a business traveller is see many motel rooms. This one is good value.

The location was excellent. Transport, eating places, supermarket, most locations within walking distance. Room clean, quiet and comfortable and a bonus with a kitchenette. Staff efficient and courteous.

Good locaion, room is very clean, bed is comfy. However, there was only 1 face wash, 1 bath towel and 1 bath mat provided. No shower cap. Anyway, I totally recommended this hotel and would stay in Travelodge again.

Good value, the room was tidy, and clean but nothing special... There was no view of anything except the other side of the building. The ventilation system was noisy, but didn't take long to get used to. Bed was big and comfortable, and that's all we wanted - somewhere comfortable to sleep... We got that. The staff were very friendly and helpful, it's in a great central location - walking distance to anywhere. We will stay here again.

Well located hotel close to transport, coffee and restaurants. Walking distance to main city attractions. Reasonable price for last weekend of VIVID, well appointed room, very comfy bed and friendly staff. Bathroom floors needed a good scrub, grout was very dirty.

Great location and impeccable service from staff, but the room was small, so was the bed (and bed not particularly comfortable) and the level of noise was high. We booked through a third party provider and wondered if we were allocated a lower 'level' as a result

Stayed a couple of nights here on a business trip. Very nice and clean standard room for a very reasonable price. Great service. Jolanta checked me in and I was greeted warmly and my check in was quick and professional. She made an excellent first impression for the hotel. Everyone else on the staff I interacted with was also friendly and helpful. I had an interior room so there was no view. The hotel is going through some renovations and the hotel restaurant was closed but there is a restauran... Read more

I was very impressed by the overall visit. Room was clean and just what I needed for a weekend trip to the city. Everything was a close walk. Staff were wonderful. I have stayed in several Travelodge Hotels and am always happy with the service.

We loved the room and location but found the parking a rip off plus it was a block away from the Travelodge. We were given a $10 discount on the parking but it still cost us $38 on top of our stay there.

Room comfortable for one person would be a bit squeezy for two. Needs better free to air TV access and air-conditioning. No in house food and beverage besides tea and coffee so have to go out for all meals.

This hotel is conveniently located to shops and transport in the CBD. Very friendly and helpful staff. Quiet, clean, well equipped rooms with comfortable beds. No ramp access from the street into the hotel. Beware of expensive car parking fees.

This hotel is quite cheap for its great location, is walking distance to the gardens, circular quay and many other locations around the CBD. The stay was nothing special, but as expected though with plain rooms and bathrooms. The staff were nice and were able to store luggage on both ends of the trip.

Having stayed in much larger hotels in Sydney before,I have chosen Travelodge Phillip Street this time bto avoid the large contingent of tourist guests queuing for attention at the reception. There are many eating places in and around the city, you can try the food courts in Westfield and Myers. If you like seafood then visit the Sydney Fish Market. If you go across the Sydney Bridge to Kiribilli you can have aa paranomic view of the city. Or take a boat trip to Manly and Cockatoo Island.

Had to go to court so the travellodge was extremely convenient just accross the road! Breakfast at Silks just accross the road and we walked around the corner to the rabbit hole for dinner. Walked around martin place and had lunch at The lindt cafe. Only complaint was we were one towel short so had to ask for an extra, then realised later there were no blankets in the wardrobe as we were told so had to ask for them. Very friendly and helpful staff. View from our window. Breakfast. Lunch. Dinner.... Read more

This hotel is within a 5 minute walk to the financial district. It is also very close to most of the Sydney attractions providing an average of a 20 min walk to many of them. This is a low cost, absolutely no frills hotel, but provides the basics for a stay. Don't count on any cable TV channels, only the free over the air TV is provided. The Wifi is advertised as being free, but is in reality providing only 100mb of data per day. You do have an option to use a PC for use on one of the hotel... Read more

Stayed one night - the Travelodge is in a great location, walking distance to everything in the city and train stations close by. There is a Convenience store 20 m from the front of the hotel. The room was large and clean and had everything needed for the night. The parking could be improved as it is quite costly (50.00 per night) and is also not located on site - its it not a far walk but if you were elderly or had limited mobility may not be suitable.

This hotel was very convenient for a stay that included multiple trips to the Opera House, NSW State Library and Conservatorium of Music. Close to the shopping precinct and public transport. Room was comfortable, with very good blackout for a good night's sleep. A microwave, and iron added to the facilities.

Stayed here two nights for a personal stay after four nights at another hotel for business. Room was clean but had a slight "musty" smell. Bed was comfortable. Amenities are more than adequate. Location is great. It's on a relatively quiet street with an easy walk to the Sydney Opera House, Westfield shopping, Hyde Park, Darling Harbour, etc. And it was a great value.
