We stayed at the Ibis on 10/02/16. We bought a voucher and together with our parking we ended up paying $300 for the night. Location was brilliant! Our room was not so brilliant. Very poky room overlooking Murray Street. We arrived during a heatwave 42c and the air con could not cope. Apart from location I don't think we would stay there again....it would have to be a very good deal....

Hotel is in Darling Harbour, Pyrmont. Room was basic with Murray Street views. Better views of city if you can obtain a room on other side. Great views of city, especially at night. Good meals and reasonable priced.

We were on the Eighth Floor with Magnificent views of the Harbour and Sydney's CBD. Our room was comfortable and clean. The room was not exceptionally big, however one does not live solely in a hotel room. The staff were really helpful and friendly and more than willing to assist you. The location and staff more than made up for any minor issues, if there was any. Ferries are all close by with a five minute walk to the Star, if you that way inclined.

Great location and great view from harbour view room. Rooms quite small though but did the trick...only slept there. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast okay. Only a short walk to darling harbour restaurants.

Stayed here for a night. Room was small but served it's purpose. Walking distance to bars, restaurants & a bit of shopping. Enjoyed a drink at the bar with live music. Very relaxing & a lovely atmosphere. Enjoyed the little perks during the Chinese New Year with candy & fortune cookies. Good night sleep with comfy bed and linen. Had the breakfast. Large variety with a small price. Hotel give discounted price for parking.

We stayed here after a night out with friends. We were not planning to stay overnight as we live about an hour out of the city but thought we would after deciding to kick on a bit. So we checked online and we found this hotel with a special on for the night so we booked it. Very reasonable rates for a non-planned booking and on a Saturday night! The room was a good size (better than the Ibis at King St. Wharf) and the staff were very friendly. We will definitely visit again.

Long story short...we flew up from Melbourne for our Wedding Anniversary and not having booked the accommodation we arrived and were a little disappointed to be perfectly honest as we were hoping for something a little more special. So after checking in and going for a long walk to work out what we could do (maybe book somewhere else) we went to talk to Peter on the front desk who checked us in. I discussed my dilemma and he said honestly there aren't any better rooms as the hotel is a 3-star...... Read more

We stayed 4 nights at the Ibis Sydney Darling Harbour in December at the end of our drive around Australia. It was the perfect spot for us to get to our meetings and wrapping things up with the companies involved with the trek. The hotel itself is modern, friendly, clean and most importantly quiet so we could relax and get some good nights sleep after a rigorous 6+ months on the road. The staff were great, housekeeping did an excellent job every day tidying up after us and giving us fresh towels... Read more

The only things that stopped this hotel getting a 1 star review is the view and the location. Both are incredible BUT before you book it there are a few things that took us by surprise that you may want to know about. - room size. We got a superior room to treat ourselves. OMG it was small! not a 'mini fridge', a 'micro' fridge! A double bed simply as a queen wouldn't fit (a superior room with a double bed?!?!?), there is barely space to put a suitcase on the floor. have no illusions, it is a ... Read more
