Our Son booked us a room as a 50th birthday gift for his Mom. We stayed 2 nights. So you can see we are old-school. Here we go: There was no blue-ray/dvd player in the room. For a Hotel with such a rating, we expected at least a blue-ray... The bed was WAY too soft and slept like a canoe - we turned the bed around, but it didn't help... The pillows should have been thrown away a year ago. The windows were dirty and the balcony glass has not been cleaned for AGES!!! Take it from me - there ar... Read more

Had to travel to Gold Coast for family birthday. The staff were great, the room was fantastic bedding was so comfortable. THe view from our room stretch from the beach all the way up the coast as well as views of the waterways on the other side of the highway. Parking was great but you had to pay for it, which I thought was ok but should be included in the costs. My car was scratched in the car park but that was not the hotels fault. Overall great place to stay and will stay there again

I have just returned from staying at the Crowne Plaza in Surfers Paradise and I cannot help but rave about the outstanding team there. They are amongst the most efficient, friendliest and pro-active hotel teams that I have ever had the pleasure of interacting with. My two business colleagues that were with me and staying there for the first time were most impressed by the team and were equally as complimentary about their performance. From the reception desk with Caroline and Steven, to the bar... Read more

The hotel is in a nice location, just south of the main hotels in surfers so we had beautiful unobstructed ocean views from our room. Rooms were clean and had plenty of natural light. Staff all throughout the hotel were very friendly. Room service food was good quality and service wasnâ??t too slow. Make sure you take at least one trip in the glass elevators!

Great value hotel midway between downtown Surfers and the casino. Able to walk to both but had great underground parking for the car. Our suite had beautiful ocean views and was reasonable size and quite modern and clean. A very good alternative to right in town.

Crowne Plaza in Surfers Paradise is easy to find with ample parking, 5min walk to the beautiful beach, 24 hour Coles Express store just across the road and has a variety of dining experiences. I recommend the Main Tower for business, couples, family, friends and solo travellers who seek short term accommodation and the connecting Gold Tower for long term or for families as it has living facilities such stove, fridge, laundry and spa. All have shower and tub (separate) and have a constant supply... Read more

Well, I've stayed in a few places that are apparently 4 or 5 star, and this place is not one - even though it is supposed to be. The check in was fine, reception staff helpful, but they did not explain the parking at all, which left us wondering which ticket to use on exiting during our stay. The rooms are tired, the beds very small in the standard room, the fridge was not cold and the TV VERY old and didn't work properly (reception on the TV was particularly poor). The TV was a very early model... Read more

Had a rare weekend without child and money in the bank, So we made the decision (last minute) to head down the coast. Booked directly with the hotel. Great there wasn't a 2 night min. Had a room on the 9th floor with some water views. The tram stop is right outside the hotel (adult paper ticket was $4.50 to the casino) bring a translink card with you, it'll mean no driving for your entire time. Super clean. Stayed here on a Sunday night after the football. The room was huge and comfortable. I loved the huge bath tub and that the shower is enclosed, preventing water from spilling all out onto the floor making it slippery. Room service menu was a little limited but the chicken and corn soup we chose was really yummy. The pillows were not very good and flattened into nothing which made for a very poor and uncomfortable sleep. It was too cold to use the pool but it did look very clean and would... Read more

Had a wedding to attend with our little 7 yr old as flower girl so decided to stay 2 nights. There was a little confusion with placing guests all on 1 floor other than that, rooms were clean & comfortable. The wedding was in the chapel, which was lovely, then cocktail reception after. Relish the restaurant has beautiful dinner menu & the buffet breakfast which was included in our stay was delicious, soooooo many things to choose from

We stayed at the Crowne Plaza Surfers Paradise a few weeks back for 5 nights as part of our drive around Australia. The hotel is nicely located in Surfers, it is clean, safe, fairly quiet (a couple of loud guests a couple of nights but quieted quickly) a bit further out from all the hullabulloo in the Surfers party area but still lots to see and do nearby and easy walk to everything else in Surfers. This is a very old hotel and needs updating, however it is well kept and the layout with a separate toilet is fantastic! We were close to the lifts but I could not hear them or anyone in the next rooms. The room has a sofa bed and would be great for small families as it is quite spacious. Well positioned close to Broadbeach and the tram stops outside. Overall a good hotel, the four winds restaurant is still a must visit.

The room is large, and clean, and the view is of course fantastic. room service is prompt and very good also. While Ethan graciously offered us late checkout and complimentary wifi. We reciprocated in becoming IHG group member. Did not try the breakfast. Parking was fine at $15. As for the food - you really have a wonderful choice, the king prawns are to die for, so are the raw oysters, small but oh so sweet. Then theres the hot meat section with a wide range on offer.
