Hotel is in a great location - near the tram/public transport, beach, local shops, and nightlife. Price was quite good for what we got - has an infinity pool, great selection of places to eat, great service. Didn't like that there was no free wi-fi and had to pay $19 per night for parking. Rooms were quite clean and well kept but bathrooms are in need of a good deep clean - lots of mould and soap scum. Would stay again for sure.

This hotel was in a very convenient location. It was close to most shops and transport. I definitely would recommend this hotel to anyone as it was clean, tidy and overall very nice to stay at. The 24 hr check-in was very convenient as well as we only arrived at the Gold Coast at 10:30pm.

The room was clean, location was good and staff were friendly. Didn't like the extra fee for parking (this adds up!) and the rooms were a little dated, particularly the bathrooms. Bed may get uncomfortable for longer stay.

Chose the mantra hotel as the location and cost met our needs. We planned to take our niece out on the town for her 18th and therefore was looking for an affordable stay in the heart of the Gold Coast. For what little time my wife and I actually spent in the room, I was disappointed with 2 things 1) there was residue inside the toilet of somebody being sick, basically all around the bowl as if nobody bothered to even lift the seat to clean inside. 2) On departure/check out, we waited for a consi... Following a 20 hour trip that included and overnight flight we arrived exhausted at the Mantra Legends at 10.00 am. We asked if our booked room was available and offered to pay any extra as the check in time is 2.00pm. The friendly counter staff advised that our room had been vacated early so it should be ready early. We gave our phone details and aked that the contact us when the room was ready ( we are an elderly couple and where extremely tired). The hours passed and no call . At 1.450pm we ... Read more

Got a good deal for 2 nights. The only couple if things that bugged me was the mini bar beers were $7 but if you get room service they are $8.50? And they charge you $3.00 to bring them up to your room. The mini bar was not replenished the second day. If you book your accomodation with breakfast included you are charged $45.00 per day but if you don't include breakfast and just go down to the resturant in the morning it is $25.00 each day? As a business traveller these are cost issues. Outside... Read more

The room offered the typical high standard of comforts and provisions for this type of hotel; a bit dated, but all in good condition. Close to the tram stop, just a short wander into the heart of Surfers Paradise, and a quick stroll down to the beach. Enjoyed the gym and the pool. Staff were friendly and helpful. Even though we could get a stream of internet 30-minute access codes from the staff for the computers in the lobby, having an hour or two of free internet per day in our own room would ... Read more
