The staff were a little brief at check in and consequently we weren't told about the dinner special on offer. It would've been nice to know as we were tired after a long flight and would've enjoyed staying in house on our first night. Apart from that, the accomodation was clean and in a great location. The morning breakfast buffet had a nice selection. I did find it to be understaffed and I was left waiting for an egg for far too long. Despite these small issues, I would recommend staying at th... The staff were incredibly helpful and lovely to deal with from the moment we arrived. The hotel was impressive and the food was probably the highlight - it was delicious and exceeded any expectations (plus took special care for the special dietary needs within our group) I had for a conference. It was my sisters 18th birthday during our stay, and when we checked in we found sparkling wine and chocolates in our room for her. On her actual Birthday, many staff made a point of wishing her a happy birthday, and the bar even made her a free cocktail. The room itself was gorgeous, and we could fault absolutely nothing. the view was amazing, and even with the heavy rain on our first day, the Spa made it a great day for staying inside. It's obvious you have a business to run and shareholders to satisfy, however, once upon a time, staying in a nice hotel was all about the service you get, and how special they make feel...not any more, at least not at Mantra Legend Gold Coast, it's all about milking you for every dollar, with the service you get, to me there is no value for the money it cost.

Room not properly prepared, booked in for 3 people and only 2 towels, luggage not brought up as promised. Room very small and pokey, insufficient space for any more than 2 people (and that is at a squeeze). Room very noisy as you could hear everyone in the corridor outside the room. Mattresses should have been changed months ago and were very uncomfortable

We stayed here for 5 nights recently and were happy with the overall experience. The staff were very helpful and the lobby area was modern with views to the large heated swimming pool. Our Studio room had been updated and had great views being on the 18th floor. The bathroom was a bit dated however and would benefit from an update to match the room. We stayed here on our annual holiday for a week. Unfortunately (and this is not the fault of the hotel), it is very popular with large tour groups, I mean like 120 room booking tour groups. These people are not considerate of others. We were staying as part our NZ Chem-Dry annual conference. Facilities, Staff and Food were excellent. Room (1015) was a bit on the small side and starting to look a bit on the tired. 1 day Following the last time I used my credit card to check in (The only time used in Aussie). CC coy Fraud office rang & said CC# had been attempted to be used at a hotel in the USA & was cancelled. Just saying this was most likely place for the details to have been stolen.

Finding someone's used bong in our dishwasher, which the cleaner absolutely had to have seen it appalling especially with the fact they left it in the dishwasher for us to find. The $200 bond when we pre paid was frustrating too, understand the need to secure a room with a credit card but feel no bond is required when we had already paid, and the fact we didn't get that back right away infuriates me. Looks better than it is. No WIFI, have to pay for internet, have to pay extra for parking, no consistent newspaper service. This is not what the visitor from Australia or Overseas now expects from a modern hotel. We have travelled overseas to third world counties where this is standard. It seems like it is price gauging rather than putting a small extra cost to the room cost to cover additional expense.

The location of this hotel is great for easy access to Surfers Paradise and the rest of the Gold Coast. On arrival the staff were more than happy to check us in and take our bags to our room whilst we went out and explored. We were told that we had to pay a $200 bond which we would get back when we checked out which seemed reasonable however when we checked out we were told that it would take between 1 and 2 weeks to get it back which for us wasn't very useful as we were leaving Australia in t... Had a Great Stay and Service was excellent, the only issue we had was when we booked we forgot about Schoolies Week and had problems sleeping due to the excessive noise from the apartment beside us however this was my problem as I should have checked the timing of my break better to miss Schoolies week but I will be staying there again as location, service, cleanliness and the views were Excellent

Lovely pool area and walking distance to anything you needed. Only negative thing was schoolies in the hotel. They made a lot of noise at times and tried to get into our room from a connecting door between the room. Great value for money and location

Was told schoolies not allowed but they were. Had to put up with noise and vomit. They charged for everything and room service was poor. Restaurant very expensive and no access to microwave when asked

At first we were disappointed that we didn't have an ocean view, but the "hinterland" view with afternoon sun was lovely. The pool got great sun from early morning and all day - fabulous. would definitely stay again

Mantra Legends was comparatively cheaper then surrounding hotels. The amenities are pretty outdated/old. Customer service was a 6/10. We often encountered staff who avoided eye contact when they weren't serving anyone else in an attempt to delay servicing us. Seafood buffet downstairs was absolutely amazing.

Good position , and facilities were good, especially the Pool and sundeck area. Food service in the Bar area was delicious and very well priced. Staff great too especially Bar and reception personals.

Nice, bit don't get room service, they charge you a fee for someone to deliver the food and drinks to your room.....their marketing people were probably on drugs. Too expensive room rate for what they offer. Also parking and being charged is a rip off.

Great accommodation, great service. Our room was ready and available at 10am in the morning. Did not agree with having to pay $19 a night for parking, Wi Fi or $18.95 for a movie. Very central location.

Great Position. Close and within walking distance of Cavill Avenue, some wonderful shopping spots and the beaches. Friendly and very helpful staff. Facility were good. We were advised that we had to pay for parking but we were also advised that the on street parking was free after a certain hour which was nice of them to advise us. Would definitely be staying here again.

Rooms are out dated, I had two holes in my bathroom floor which my heels got stuck in, also reception could be more friendly and more informative, we bookeda breakfast but were not told where to go and times.

Spacious rooms with great views, would've liked a balcony but thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wished it was longer. Helpful staff. Facilities lovely and clean. Loved how our room was bigger with a lounge area and spa. Walking distance to all night life. An awesome weekend. Thank you Mantra

Loved loved loved this place... did I say loved? That's because from check in to check out, dinner and drinks in the bar you'll get nothing but top notch service with a smile. No request is too big or small for this hotel. Highly recommend and will return for my next romantic getaway ???

Hotel is tired and in desperate need of some renovations. Rooms are a bit musty and in my room the paint was falling if the bathroom door and the wood was swelling from the damp. No power points in the rooms had to unplug all the lamps for phone and laptop. Glad I only had to stay one night. However the staff are very helpful and polite .
