Beautiful hotel, lovely staff and the bed is so comfy! One of the best hotels we've stayed at. Room service breakfast was delicious. Even organised a bottle of wine for us as my partner proposed to me there.

Room is very specious and I felt very personal stay. Room is quite modern but elegant and classic with new decor. Mini bar space with coffee maker & sink is great for coffee lover. Big TV screen is additional benefit for me as I came to Brisbane for the purpose of Brisbane International. Easy to walk to main street. Staff are generous and very friendly overall with good service. Reception staff also helped checking my request to get additional ticket or etc. Nice restaurant with good qua... Read more

A really beautiful warm and comfortable hotel. Wish I'd had a longer stay. It's a direct walk into town or over to Southbank. The restaurant is a 'happening place' of an evening but if you want quiet you'll find it in your room. I'll go back there any time I can.

We loved our one night stay at this hotel. We are Accor members and used our free night for this stay. We loved our room and the attention to detail shown in the decoration. We also loved the older style lift. Staff were amazing and very friendly. The reason I gave it a 4 rather than a 5 was the bed. It wasn't as luxurious as you would expect from a 5 star hotel. The pillows were a bit hard for our liking (although I later discovered a pillow menu on the iPad provided), and the queen size bed f... Read more

An overnight stay at this hotel wasn't enough for me to enjoy all it has to offer. Welcomed by a beautiful reception area, The New Inchcolm Hotel in Brisbane is certainly has an eye for style & details. Using the old fashioned featured of the period building however giving it a very contemporary atmosphere. Our room was separated into 3 areas; the bedroom, living/study/kitchenette and bathroom. First and foremost I have to send out a HUGE thank you to the staff who surprised me with a upgrade to a Loft room on my recent stay. This room was simply amazing. This was the second time that I have stayed at the New Inchcolm and on both occasions that staff have been wonderful and very friendly. They have always gone above and beyond. I love the style the rooms. They have kept some of the buildings old charm and added a modern twist. I have eaten at their restaurant on both occasions th... Read more

Simply put, this hotel was perfect. We stayed last year but it's only just come to my attention that I did not review it yet. The room we had was the loft style and it was so great having that separation between the living room and the bedroom. The rooms are that wonderful mix of trendy, vintage luxe with a hint of industrial in the floors and textures. It is EXACTLY the style that I love in the hotel. The view was of the highway, but the floor to ceiling 2 story windows were so mesmerisin... Read more

The New Inchcolm Hotel is very hard to find using the GPS if you don't know Brisbane well! We discovered the hotel quite by accident after having driven around a few blocks in the dark. Unfortunately for us, there are two roads one of top of the other and it would appear that our GPS was taking to the bottom road while hidden from view above us was Wickham Terrace. I discovered that putting in the number of the building two doors up (87) led us back to the hotel more accurately the next time we ... Read more

This is a boutique is close enough to walk into town, with interesting features, great service, and lovely touches such as beautiful linen and powerful hairdryer. Nice teas and bathroom products also. Highly recommend. Only slight negative I can comment on is that I was able to hear people chatting as they walk down the hall but then it was a Friday night and perhaps people were louder than usual.

The Inchcolm is a boutique hotel in Brisbane that really gives great service. From the time you arrive the staff all seem to know that you're staying with them and they go out of their way to make sure that your stay with them is personal and warm. The second night we stayed there we had a nightcap in the bar. When I asked for the bill the barman said "That's OK, you're staying here. No need to sign anything. I'll fix it up for you." Lovely looking hotel, and Sam at the front desk is gem wanting be to lead guests with every request! Cannot recommend this hotel. Traveling for business and: WiFi not straight forward (I travel a lot so fair idea of normal), meals lovely but far too small for satisfaction, wired meal ordering system, small, small rooms, crapnTV interaction system, clean room, very friendly staff, just not my kind of convenient travel hotel for business. Not again.

Started our holiday here, planning on a quick train trip to airport the next day. This hotel is great! Fantastic and interesting fit out, suited to the historical aspect of the building but modern too. We were upgraded to a suite which was great. Only (minor) complaint is that there is not enough shelving space in the bathroom. Lovely bed and a quiet night's sleep. The bar area is great, and we also enjoyed an excellent meal in the reataurant. All staff attentive and helpful. A great boutique ho... Read more

Hotel is located in a beautifully restored building. Close to the city. Room was clean and well decorated. Bed was very comfy. Good room service. We stayed in a 1 bedroom studio which was fine for a short stay but probably a bit small if you are staying longer. I would definitely stay here again. Room service was great and efficiently ordered via the in room iPad.

Stayed here about a year ago for the first time and loved it. Back in Brisbane for work so tried it again and it was as good as the first time. Room has everything y need and it is clean, well presented, and very pleasant. Had a reservation problem that was sorted out by the staff well. The breakfast staff were just as good. No reason not to come back the next time as well.

I stayed a few times at Sofitel Brisbane when I was in Brisbane, this time I decided to try something new and I chose The New Inchcolm Hotel. After a long day visiting clients and a long drive from Surfer Paradise I was exhausted, however, when I stepped into my hotel room, I was immediately refreshed by the warmth ( but not over the top) welcoming by the receptionist Eleanor. Although she was there on her own, she carried my suitcase to my room, oriented me swiftly and leave me to enjoy the tas... Read more

This hotel has been on my bucket list for a while and it didn't disappoint. Gorgeous decor and great front desk and evening turn down service. Parking was the only mild inconvenience but once we'd work out that there's a huge parking building across the road we dropped our bags in the room leaving our car briefly in the loading bay, then did the block and parked for $10. The hotel does have a valet service - but it wasn't needed. Rooms were gorgeous - compact but beautifully styled, loads of wh... Read more

This hotel is hands down amazing and by far one of the best hotels I have stayed in. The beautiful decor and and features of this hotel make it truly unique, personal and beautiful. Stayed here for two nights and enjoyed every moment of my stay. The room was clean and well appointed and will definitely be back again for my next trip to Brisbane.

The New Inchcolm was a restful and pleasant place to stay and had attentive service for the most part. Checked us into the wrong room to start with which we only realised when we couldn't get the wifi to work and then we had to be moved. Room was a loft with good views and was well fitted out, decor very pleasant all around. Storage almost non existent with two very small drawers for clothes and bathroom storage was impractical and limited for a new building - the loft rooms are in the new exten... Read more

Wow and wow. This hotel is worthy. Treat yourself to the Loft Residence on the top floor and enjoy the views. Best of the best linen on the pillows and soft bed and the fit out shows attention to detail and quality. Lovely staff and great in house bar and restaurant. Really no need to leave! Love the old charm of the renovated lift and architecture. No noise between rooms and a private escape. Oh and did I mention the delicious toiletries! Is a little more than some conventional hotels but so ve... Read more

The New Inchcolm Hotel is truly a beautiful boutique hotel offering a unique luxury experience in the heart of Brisbane. Location- Not the best as its located on a corner of busy Wickham Terrace. It's difficult to park but not impossible. Checkin - very friendly staff. Room - We were allocated room 414 which was a loft style apartment with the bedroom & bathroom upstairs. Downstairs was a large sitting room with super duper floor to ceiling windows with city views , mini bar , TV , couc... Read more

In the middle of the night I got the spare cotton blanket out of the cupboard as the duvet was too warm. I found it had grass, dirt and hairs on it....Very disappointing however, I was way too tired to call for another. On closer inspection I found the bed linen also had stains and a rip....and whoever made the bed hadn't bothered to make it properly. I had asked for a quiet room and found that my window was above where taxi drivers park (all night) and talk loudly to each other. For over $3... Read more

I stayed here last night & omg WOW - is this place beautiful! Check in was easy with lovely staff to help you. It is old world with modern touches & was just gorgeous. The rooms are a lovely size with beautiful furnishings, the bed was so comfortable and divine to sleep in, the bathrooms are amazing too. My girlfriends had also booked their own rooms and were equally pleased. We all had drinks at the bar yesterday & an amazing cheese platter later on last night - the bar staff were so lovely & a... We were super excited to stay at this hotel as it looked nice and had a great star rating! However when we arrived we were second guessing our choice of stay.. We were greeted with a hostile approach and were then sprung with a $40 nightly fee for parking which we were not informed of when we booked.. We had no choice but to pay for this as there is no other parking provided.. We went to our room to see what we have paid for only to realize everything in the room was a beg for money also.. $300 ... Read more

I booked last minute for an overnight city event mid-week but got an excellent Accor member rate, fast check-in and free wifi too. The antique lift was delgithful, if painfully slow to the 3rd floor and it has a strict weight limit for guests and bags! My room was gorgeous, beautifully furnished and I loved the automated curtains for near blackout (much nicer than the view of the dirty roof of Novotel next door!) The tucked away bar is well equipped, lovely coffee machine too, although some menu... Read more

The atmosphere upon entering was great and the welcome was warm. Our room was beautifully decorated. A little more storage space in wardrobe and a shelf for toiletries would have been helpful but these are only small issues. The bathrobes were soft and luxurious. The restaurant served amazing meals and the staff very helpful. We certainly will stay here again.
