This hotel is such good value, the staff (especially Brendon) incredibly helpful and friendly, it is spotlessly clean, comfortable and quiet. Free wifi. Appreciate the small touches e.g. fresh milk and extra large fluffy white towels. Well done!

Launceston's Peppers Seaport Hotel combines modern comfort, well designed comfortable rooms, pleasant waterside views with well trained and pleasing staff. We spent several pleasant days at Peppers, very handy to the centre of town, shops and museums, art galleries and the boat trip which takes you to the stunning Cataract Gorge. Part of a well run chain, it was a happy home from home.

We booked two bedrooms, the rooms are nice and comfortable, not too spacious. It was clean and friendly staff. It is walking distance to the city Centre, good value hotel. They have 200mB free wifi, nice to have the free wifi but most places we stayed at on this trip has unlimited fast free wifi, so 200mB is nothing to shout. Unfortunately we didn't have a long enough stay to enjoy the surrounds. Definitely it is a nice place to stay in Launceston.

Upon walking into the room I was greeted but the sounds of jazz playing through the Tv and the room set at a perfect temp of 24 degrees. The faculties where grade A with no expense spared so well done Peppers. The bed was extremely comfortable and good shower amenities. They have a Nescafé machine for you coffee lovers and a good selection of teas also. Overall very satisfied with the room and would recommend it.

We decided that a short break was once again needed and this time we chose Launceston. Although we arrived early at about 10am the receptionist went out her way to find a room that was ready. Mission accomplished and we were able to unpack before venturing out into the metropolis that is Launceston. Upon our return we explored the hotel and area a little more and were pleased to find that there were 3 eating places that charged back to the hotel and several others all within 100 metres! Grea... I am traveling with my aunt and younger sister around Australia. Tasmania is our last stop before returning home and I left my passport and my sister's in the safe at the Seaport Hotel. We didn't realize until we were at a later stop in Freycinet, Tasmania. We called the hotel and a lovely lady named Hannah went above and beyond to get overnight and secure shipping of our passports to our hotel. Thank you so much Hannah and the rest of the staff at Pepper's Seaport Hotel.

We arrived at Peppers Seaport for a 2 night stay. The apartment was fantastic, warm and spacious. It looked brand new and was very clean. about 10 mins walk into the city if you wish. Mud bar restaurant a must which is within the complex. the car park is a paid car park which is not very clearly marked by the hotel, upon asking about where to park, the receptionist told us she could give us a voucher for discount parking. $8 a day which was fine. however you would have thought that would ... This hotel overlooks the city and the Tamar and Esk Rivers and is located on the edge of the main town centre. We stayed in a city view one bedroom suite on level 3. We booked and prepaid via Wotif and got a pretty good rate which included free car parking (usually $8 a night) and internet. The room did look over the city centre and was very clean and stylishly decorated. This side of the hotel faces a busy main road (East Tamar Highway or the A8). Customer service - where can I start? Told 2 boxes arrived the Thursday before and when arrived found out "still looking" ! Did not arrive. Patronising comments made by some reception staff on check in. I don't believe they looked twice. Spent two nights there in June 2016. Not cheap because the football was on but not unreasonable. Rooms were large, clean and comfortable. Couldn't find one thing to criticize except there was no complimentary newspaper outside the door in the morning but that is clutching at straws. Breakfast was modest but service and food quality first class. Great selection of whisky although beer selection (for a true beer drinker) lacked imagination and variety. Comfort for the client appeared fore-most on their minds, commencing with a large mint-leaf cooled water jug, and fresh fruit on arrival in the entry lounge. The accommodation was luxurious and the daily room-service came in the refreshing shape of a chatty friendly lady. Around the Hotel were restaurants and" fish and chip" places, as well as a Brewery and walking tracks to Cataract Gorge and Ferry. The apartment was huge, fully self contained, great finishes and so comfortable, the view back to Launceston was great, had dinner down at restaurant, good food and good service. Lady on reception was a little pre-occupied when we arrived and was more interested in 2 blokes behind us, so felt a bit rushed, otherwise, once we got to the room, very happy.

We booked king size rooms but were luck enough to be upgraded to suites. As two couples traveling together had two adjacent suites with a communal lobby. The lovely suite consisted of a king size bedroom with lots of storage, ensuite, laundry with washer & drier, kitchen, lounge area with fold out sofa (handy if someone snores too much!), plus a generous assortment of electronic goodies. A small balcony completed what was truly spectacular accommodation. We would definitely stay here again.
