Stayed at the Comfort Inn Botanical in October on a business trip to Hamilton. Originally it wasn't going to be my first choice but it would certainly now be my first choice when staying in Hamilton. The room was excellent - clean and large, good food at the restaurant for both dinner and breakfast, an ideal position (it was lovely going for an early morning walk through the Botanical Gardens across the road), free wi-fi and the friendly customer service completed the overall experience.Well rec... I stayed here for one night for work. I found it to be clean and tidy. It had an older style bathroom from the 70s but it was still in good condition. The bed was comfortable, and I found staff to be very friendly all round. Great location being across the road from the Botanical Gardens which are beautiful. Would stay here again.

An overnight stay in Hamilton saw us looking for an off-highway property for a quiet night. We'd planned to stay at another hotel, but its car spaces were so tight we decided not to risk damage. Botanical turned out to be a great alternative choice. The rooms are nicely sized. Parking is spacious and clearly delineated. Rooms are well equipped with a small refrigerator (a little noisy in one of our rooms), a good iron and ironing board, and a small table with two chairs. A small television an... Read more

Great motel style accommodation, nothing amazing but very clean and comfortable and quiet. I wish they had told me they had a breakfast room when I checked in! We spotted in on the way out - stylish booths and an open fireplace.

First class reception upon our arrival. There were three of us for two rooms for an overnight stay including dinner and breakfast. Accommodation and food were first class, as was the service. We needed to travel from Hamilton to Queenscliffe the following morning. The owner Geoff couldn't have been more helpful in providing us with directions to Queensclffe via the Great Ocean Road. I would award the package 11 out of ten and we would definitely stay there again, possibly next year

Stay here often for work....lovely hotel in a very good position in town. Great set out of rooms, comfortable beds, great bathrooms. Housekeeping ladies are the absolute best and always up for a chat and a laugh, they actually make your stay really enjoyable and nothing is too much for them....I hope they are looked after by management as much as they look after their guests.... Restaurant attached has great food.....good comfort food I would call it....breakfast is great and room service is sp... Read more

These are simple rooms but clean. The shower taps were difficult to adjust and appeared to be in need of replacement. There was quite a bit of traffic noise in the morning from very early so certainly requesting a room away from the road is well-advised. Our main concern was that one of the staff in the excellent restaurant was evidently so stressed on a busy night that she was overlooking normal courtesies such as returning a thank you or even looking at the diners.

If you are female and staying solo at this place, please reconsider. The comfort Inn Lonsdale is far safer and closer to everything. Better everything! Please stay anywhere else but the Botanical. It's cold and scary.

What a lovely place to stay for an overnight, ticked all the boxed, a warm welcome with smiles from Lyn at reception, booking in was a breeze. Room was accommodating and modern, crisp and clean, extra pillows made for a comfy sleep, with electric blankets to warm the queen bed, it was atypical Hamilton cold and wet and the split system heated the room quickly, parking spaces outside the room were larger than normal and ensured your neighbour didn't bounce his door on yours :-). Ensuite bathroom... Read more

The cost for one night was $129 which was overpriced for an average room. The main issue came to light when I tried to turn on the electric blanket, it wouldn't work so I moved the bed forward so I could examine the electrics. And what did I discover... 3 faulty/damaged plugs and the two switches on the electric blanket both damaged. In my opinion an unsafe situation. I switched off the power to this area and alerted the office staff. The next morning I spoke to the manager who had not been a... Read more

Stayed in a standard room. Was functional and in line with expectations. No foxtel which is unfortunate. Good central location and close to supermarkets and shops. Only real issue in mt room was the water pressure. Looks like some recent work has replaced taps and the shower head and the replacements must have fitted restricter washers to basically stop almost all the water. The pressure was so pathetic that i did not bother having a shower on my final day before departing for Melbourne airport... Read more

It is in a convenient location. Beautiful gardens over the road and shopping nearby. Room was very clean. Bed was comfortable, free Wifi was excellent. The bathroom was very disappointing. There were broken tiles on shower base, the water pressure was awful. Very strange taps in shower; levers that hardly moved and the cold goes the opposite to what you would normally expect. The heater was noisy. We didn't use the restaurant. We were expecting to enjoy breakfast there but on arriving we saw a... Read more

The Comfort Inn Botanical is in a great location and easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. It is right opposite to the botanical gardens. Good sized rooms. The restaurant is quite expensive but alternatives are an easy walk.. The staff are friendly and obliging
