My wife and I booked this resort last minute. I was surprised how expensive resorts were on Hamilton but our stay at whitsundays apartments was reasonable due to construction work taking place. The staff were very friendly from the bus collecting us at the Airport to the reception staff pointing out good places for sunsets. Our room was recently refurbished and all the appliances brand new. I would really recommend a stay here, especially as your right in front of the beach!

We are small family with infant and can't thank enough to Whitsunday apartment to make this vacation very special and more comfortable to my family. As the previous poster mentioned this apartment is fabulous and our sea view was stunning from our room balcony.Only one thing its bit uncomfortable when we try to shower our infant and the shower doesn't have bath tub apart from that rest is awesome. If i go back to HTI i will sure book this place with out any hesitation.

My wife and I stayed here on holiday recently. The room was spacious and comfortable, with two banana lounges on the balcony for lazing about. The tiled floor means you don't need to worry about coming back from from the beach or one of the three nearby swimming pools wet and sandy. The apartments are located on Catseye Beach, very well placed for beach activities. The beach-towel exchange service is very welcome. My main gripe is that everything being tiled means that noise echoes a lot. We we... Read more

Best walk up to the resort area (less than 5min) if you want to spend some time at the beach as they have rentals for small catamarans, snorkelling and paddle boards and generally has a bit more g... We stayed for a week in the Whitsunday Apartments. The apartment had one bedroom, but could sleep 4 easily as there was a comfortable second bed in the large lounge area. Ours was a ground floor apartment which was great for the kids, and made for very easy access to the pools. The staff were very helpful too. The view from my room was incredible. The bed is soft. The kitchen and bathrooms are new and fully stocked with all you'd need. Wifi only exists in the reception, which is a bummer. You're a 10 minute walk to the marina area and right on the beach. Great place to stay. I hope to get back.

Does not include buggy but you can rent on the island. The have a little store at reception that has some staples and alcohol which was very handy and reasonable. We paid the extra for the Coral Sea View room and it was well worth it. The views were amazing, the apartment clean and comfortable and a mini-service daily, so towels etc refreshed if we wished. The shuttle buses stop at reception so easy to get anywhere and the beach is just across the road, so very well located. Would definitely come back here next time we visit Hamilton Island.

Right next to the Reef View so the same view. A comfortable 1 bed apartment with a kitchen with near new appliances. With a few staples from the general store means you can save money on breakfasts and the odd dinner in. We brought a coffee plunger & fresh coffee with us which was a good move as only a toaster & kettle in the room but a coffee cart open in the lobby in the morning.

We stayed for 6 nights with sea view room, my husband and I loved the views. Located across from the beach and on the resort side it was perfect, free shuttle from here made all of the island accessible. A golf buggy would have been great for our whole stay but we didn't know before leaving and only hired the buggy for 24hrs. We used the kitchen every night and only went out for lunch. The brand new fully refurbished apartments at the hotel are so beautiful. The views of all the islands and tranquil blue ocean makes waking up to this view heaven every day. There is time to relax to the view or retreat away with complete peace. The apartments are very spacious and comfortably fit many people. I had an amazing night sleep on the beds. The mattresses were just perfect! The kitchen, bathroom all have a high quality of furnishings and i love that i could bring my groceries with... Read more

One bedroom apartment on level 9 had a brilliant view, was very spacious, quiet and very clean. We stayed five nights and recommend the apartment over a hotel room because of the space. No tripping over bags etc. The lounge room was huge and all the other rooms were of good size. The grounds were very well maintained and despite this being a relatively old establishment the care given to it made it look good. The staff were very helpful and we had no dramas at all.

We had a sea view deluxe apartment, it was refurbished on the 9th level. Spacious living area with a kitchen, separate bedroom and a decent size bathroom. The balcony is big enough to sit or lie down overlooking the incredible views. It is not a luxury apartment like qualia or the yacht club but definitely suited us perfectly and would certainly go back.

We stayed at WAHI for 4 nights for a friends wedding. Spoke directly with the resort when booking and Myuran was awesome at helping out and looking after us! So thank you Myuran! We were on level 10 and the views of catseye beach were something to see! It was better than the pictures! The room was massive for my partner and I but great for us to spread out :) The resort is not far from things and you can get a bus that comes straight to the door and goes right around the island. Staff at rece... Read more

Have just returned home after a 5 night stay to attend son's beach wedding. We loved everything about WAHI - the amazing views from the large balcony, the large clean apartment, great bed and linens, our own kitchen, the location right on the beach, easy access on the island via courtesy buses, very efficient airport transfers, plenty of options for swimming etc - I could go on and on. The only downside (if you call it that) is that the beach is very tidal and at low tide beach looks quite ord... Read more

This was our second time here at WAHI and our stay was just as good as our first. We had a deluxe coral view appartment on the 12th floor, where the views are gorgeous. I honestly don't think you could get a better view of the island anywhere else. The apartment is clean and has everything you need especially for cooking your own meals. We cooked most meals and had a few fancy dinners. I really liked the all day menu at reef view hotel. All staff we encountered were insanely friendly and houseke... Read more

The check in staff was basically friendly in a somewhat robotic way, which then became strangely detached when probed with further questions. I had a spacious room with furnishings that were dated within a tired building that had seen better days. Yes there are some cock roaches in the room for your viewing pleasure. Ants too. You're on your own here- they don't clean your room here so you need to clean your own dishes, hang your towels, make your bed, and tidy up to your liking. You will be c... Read more

We stayed here for 9 nights with 2 sons aged 12 and 9. Was very impressed. Great location, great view, new kitchen. One bedroom apartment but sleeps up to 5 comfortably. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again. Is central to everything. Is only rated 3 star but I would give it a 4 as we were really happy with everything.

If you are looking for a fun active family holiday then this island and these apartments are great value. It's feels like an apartment of your very own in a piece of paradise. Breakfast was included in our package & is a good option to take as it is a decent meal. Beware though . If you leave your room make sure you close your sliding glass doors. I found out the hard way that the local wildlife are very nosy. The cockatoo's , over 20 to be precise hard managed to get through the screen door whi... Read more

Stayed here last week for four nights and would happily return. We had a refurbished sea view room on the sixth floor. The view was magnificent and the room was spacious and clean with a well equipped kitchen. Patrick and Micah at reception were great and all the housekeeping staff I met were friendly. These apartments would have to have some of the best views on the island and for that alone I would recommend them.

Great holiday destination for all. Whitsunday Apartments Hamilton Island was clean, comfortable and had the necessities including coffee cart near the pool for real morning coffee. Island is well organised with airport transfers and shuttle buses but walking is easy to most places. Restaurants had nice and reasonably priced food. The island general store had the basics and more. Don't bother with the online groceries unless you can order a month in advance.
