We've been to Qualia three times in the past year, and keep coming back for good reason. It is an oasis of calm in a delightful setting at the Northern tip of the island behind big steel gates to keep the bogans out (and the bogan children). I'm not averse to children being around, but I will pay for the privilege of peace and calm. You are transported from the airport and met with champagne at the entrance, get checked in and then just switch off. Sure you can do a host of activities, whatev... Read more

A simply stunning piece of paradise on Hamilton Island. Everything about this resort is first class, from the time you first arrive and are greeted with French champagne, to the first time you open your pavilion door and see your magnificent water view, your own plunge pool, your own day bed outside, king size bed and huge bathroom, and a complementary bottle of French in an ice bucket. It's not cheap by any standards, but to a large extent you get what you pay for and we would definitely return... Read more

This is the best hotel/resort we have ever stayed at. From the moment they picked us up at the airoprt with our private car to the personal customer service person this resort is decadent. Our villa was spacious clean and so romantic. We ate all our meals at Qualia the chefs dinner with Australian wines to dinner on the beach. This resort has to be on your bucket list. We did the helicopter ride to Whitehaven Beach where the pilot placed a beautiful lunch with champagne. You have to go!!!

So it's pretty special hotel, we had a poor start with a mix up with our package causing us to wait nearly an hour in the lobby to confirm our dinner/heli tour that had been arranged and pre paid. Post that though perfect! staff are very professional and hard working, unbelievable view with spectacle rooms. We spent the money and got the plunge pool, worth every cent. Played the golf course it's magic and well worth taking your partner just to see the view. Did a sailing lesson with Seb thanks f... Read more

Qualia is by far the best resort I have ever been to. The location, scenery and venue its self are outstanding. The service is impeccable! Food sensational! Its a place to come a relax and unwind. The rooms are beautiful, big with everything you need. We had our own private plunge pool - amazing! The bathroom was massive, I want one at home. I cannot wait to go there again!

As we wait in the beautiful Long Pavillion for our transfer to the airport, we reflect on our experience with big smiles! The quality of the resort, the service, the friendliness of the staff are fantastic. We stayed in a Leeward pavillion and although there were limited water views the outlook was very leafy and peaceful. Loved lounging in the cabanas by the Pebble Beach pool and highly recommend the Slow Roasted Lamb for two and the Chateaubriand, also for two. The most delicious and perfect ... Read more

We travel a lot and always stay in high end luxury resorts. Qualia is one of the best experiences we have had, and definitely the best on our month long trip to Australia (we also stayed in Bedara, Silky Oaks lodge, Park Hyatt Sydney and One & Only Hayman). Hamilton Island itself is an excellent setting. It feels like entering a little private paradise. The hotel provides a complimentary buggy to use throughout your stay and this can be used to travel all across the island. Qualia has a super ... Read more

Simply fantastic, Australia has come a long way over the past 10 years to have some great resorts and Qualia has helped this image. Everything just happens in a no fuss and professional manner. The staff make it look very easy, and you couldn't ask for better service.

My wife and I came for our honeymoon, for a 7 night stay. In the anticipation of such a high profile and exclusive resort, we basically stalked TripAdvisor for revues. With a few negative reviews, we really didn't know what to expect. Well, I can assure you that there is absolutely nothing negative to report. Every little detail is taken care of. There is nothing to do, other than enjoy your stay in 6 star luxury. Everything from the accommodation standards, to the food, to the service is ... Read more

Upon arrival at Hamilton Island Airport we were made feel special. We were warmly greated and promptly delivered to the resort where we were welcomed by a lovely group of young people with Champange (not sparkling wine) and seated by the beautiful pool to await our personal checkin. Shortly after we were driven by golf cart to our accommodation. WOW.... We were thrilled with our beautiful pavilion that had magnificent views from every window and a private plunge pool too. It is not cheap but it does an excellent job of being expensive. Reception at the airport, your bags collected and delivered to your pavilion, welcome champagne at check-in, free use of buggy that can go anywhere on the island, free transport and pickup if you don't drive or like the buggy, complimentary non-alcoholic drinks, breakfast included with excellent views of the Coral Sea, local beach drop-off (go to Henning Island much better than Beach 25), Aesop products...the list of pampering goe... My husband and I stayed with my brother, in March 2016 he was blown away by the incredible scenery, service, professionalism of staff and gorgeousness of qualia. It is the most perfect place for a celebration, no children, so peaceful. The staff are the top notch, with it being a pleasure to help you and are obviously happy to be working there. They are smart in attire as well as personality. They are not your average team. We used to go to Hayman Island, but dont bother as have been so dispiri... Read more

Stayed at Qualia recently for a week. Wanted to stay in Oz as we always go overseas and don't support our own industry. Also the fact that it is only a couple of hours by plane is attractive. Probably wouldn't go back as it was not as good as 5 star o/s resorts in either Bali or Fiji and overpriced in comparison. The good parts.. Booking a breeze.. Amazing service over the phone by Sydney based staff Lovely views & some great staff... ESP the activities crew (bel & Rama) & the incomparable E... Read more

Stunning views, luxurious accommodation, exceptional service, great amenities, beautiful birds. Would definitely stay here again. My husband and I stayed here for our joint birthday week. The resort is lovely and extremely relaxing. We received outstanding service. Although we certainly made use of the wonderful restaurants at the resort it was considered no trouble for concierge to arrange dinner at any of the other top quality restaurants on the Island and for staff to give us complimentary tr... We stayed at Qualia to celebrate my husbands 40th birthday. It was everything and more than we had ever experienced and imagined. The service was incredible, food was absolutely delicious, our pavilion was perfect and so private. We only ventured out into the island once and decided to not leave Qualia again. It was heaven having no children around. We spent a lot of time at Pebbles by the stunning pool. Both restaurants were amazing. We ordered in one night and had another delicious meal. We wo... My husband and I had our honeymoon here for 4 nights and it was so special. The hotel is an understated luxury. From the moment you arrive at the airport, you are transported with a cool water in a van to the hotel. You arrive within 5 minutes and before you know it, you are checking in with a champagne in hand. The rooms are oversized luxury with stocked mini bar, Aesop amenities, big free standing bath. There is a buggy to go with the rooms. Fun to drive around the Island and hotel. The pool ... Read more

We spent 5 nights st Qualia resort on the North end of Hamilton Island. This is gated community that is set in a wonderful tropical setting. The excellent service starts at the airport with personal pickup and collection of our luggage while we are chauffeured to the resort and met with welcome drinks. The resort has a wonderful selection of activities from water sports to Yoga in the spa. We especially enjoyed the wine and cheese tasting and the 8 course degustation dinner at the long pavilion.... A very special few days at this wonderful place. It starts before you arrive with great advice on things you may want to prebook. Airport arrival and transfer to the resort is seamless with the suitcases in our rooms. The staff are efficient and friendly without being over familiar anticipating your needs ahead of time. The food is superb and the rooms and facilities are just wonderful. I can't recommend this piece of paradise enough

Always read reviews before booking somewhere new especially when it is expensive and qualia is expensive but very worth it. For qualia most were very good some were not so good here is mine. The moment you enter through the gates you know you are in seclusion. Seclusion is followed by a seamless check-in while sipping on Champage overlooking the infinitely pool to the beautiful blue sea. Allocated a golf buggy for your stay you are then escorted to your own private and secluded pavilion. We had ... Read more

I stayed at Qualia two years ago in Aug.2014 for two nights. That was the best experience in a resort ever. Every room is a independent villa - very quite and exclusive with private view. I tried two different types of rooms. Windward pavillion was great. I love the one with the pool. Everything in the room was wonderful - the hardware, furniture, interior design, etc. Service is great. The staff can do almost anything you request. They can help arrange travel itenerary, very helpful and... Read more

Stayed in the pool villas @ 1600 per night and whilst I can appreciate that Qualia is nice, I actually don't think it's outstanding enough to warrant the cost. We stayed here for 8 nights. Beautiful villas - but there is room for improvement. - technology -- small TV on the corner of the room. albeit, you don't go to Qualia to watch TV, but if you want to watch movies or TV the system set up seems like it is from 10 years ago. Channels laggy. There isn't a TV that you can watch from the bed. ... Read more

We were welcomed back and made to feel important and glad that we had returned again. The pick up at the airport and the arrival is very special. The experience at Qualia was impressive, there's no other way to put it. The staff was great - from the check-in to the eating and even the housekeeping staff were great. Everywhere you go there is intense beauty and lots of amenities. We did the "Island Drop Off", which I highly recommend. The only thing I think they fell short on was the yoga instructor. She was inexperienced and the class was boring. It was odd to have first class everything the whole way through, then to take a yoga ... Read more
