This was our second stay on Hammo. This time we chose the Palm Bungalows and so glad we did! The bungalows have been revamped and are very nicely done. The rooms are huge, clean and comfy with a king size bed, a day bed and a DIY kitchen (no oven though). Quality tea and coffee....what a delightful change from the standard motel brands! Thank you for that btw :)). The little verandah has a hammock (so good!) and table and chairs. Air con and fans, modern shower....all in all...fantastic. We love... Read more

Stayed here for 1 night for work and wish it was for longer. Lovely, airy room with great sized bathroom and comfortable bed. Good air conditioning, excellent shower and Foxtel channels top it off. Location is excellent and only a short walk to the restaurants and marina. Access to water sport equipment is included and is great fun. Will be back.

The Palm Bungalows offered privacy away from the busy areas of the island, but still remained a short, convenient walk to the beach, pools, restaurants, and the marina. The bungalow was surprisingly roomy, the bed was super comfortable, and the kitchenette offered enough basic amenities for a comfortable stay. We stayed at the bungalows close to the pools and CoCaChu, so it was a short walk to the swim up bar, pool, Catseye Beach, and about 5 minute walk to the marina. We really enjoyed the priv... Hamilton Island is define til a place to visit. Stayed at the Palm a Bungalows. Well appointed clean and cosy with a real topical feel. Small kitchenette with more than adequate facilities for a every day in room needs. Hard to fault.

We stayed at the Palm Bungalows recently and were really happy with the accomodation and the peaceful setting. Our room was large, clean and airy, with cooking facilities (microwave and cooktop) if needed. The bed was huge and very comfortable. It was close to the beach, restaurants and pool area and a short walk to the marina. The hammock on the balcony was an added bonus! Our stay included a full buffet breakfast with a choice of 3 places to go, the variety of food was excellent, especially at... Read more

The room was clean and well supplied , housekeeping did a great job. The starf made it a pleasant experience to stay I will be back. We were within walking of the facilities. We were able to charge our golf buggy in our own parking space and it was easy to get around the island this way.

I stayed here for five nights with my best friend whilst travelling Australia. The bungalow itself was bigger than we expected and comes with a double bed, kitchenette, television, iPod docking station, lots of cutlery, glassware and crockery and a bathroom (including a lovely rain shower). The room is air conditioned and also has a ceiling fan. We also liked the hammock outside. We found all staff on Hamilton Island to be lovely, and the maids that cleaned our bungalow each day were really frie... Read more

We arrived at Hamilton island straight from Hayman island. Our first impressions were chaotic. We had hired a golf cart with was great (it bome down within the first 15 minutes but staff were so helpful and fetched us a new one) and drove to check in which was in the main family hotel, again chaotic. When we arrived at our bungalow we were pleasantly surprised. They were lovely and quaint and quiet with modern interior. They had a crib free of charge and great amenities for a family. This was a great option for us - the bungalow was clean, contained everything we needed, was spacious and in a handy position. The service we received from the resort was fantastic at all times. The restaurants were hit and miss though - Coca Chu and Tako were both fantastic, but Sails was a bit pedestrian. For those thinking of using the Clownfish Club - the carers were fantastic, very friendly and great with kids, I can't recommend them highly enough. I do have a couple of suggestions for ... It surprised me how many young families were on the plane to Hamilton island. Stay away from the big tower block that houses these people if you're planning a romantic holiday. We went one morning to the tower for breakfast and never went back again. A cess-pit of babies, crying and big families. Consider the extra price on Palm bungalows an insurance for a relaxing holiday. It's what the photos show- a tidy room and bathroom. Nothing special but then again you don't spend much time in your roo... Read more

This place is a joke. We are only here for one night and it is a madhouse. Everything is booked out, can' even get a buggy even though there would be 30 sitting in the hire outlet. Reception staff are unhelpful and rude. We asked for a late checkout. We were told that it was a special occasion for the people that are checking into our room, even though checkin is from 2.00pm. They certainly did not like me telling them what I thought about that. Can't wait to leave and never come back.

Visiting Hamilton island for a wedding our family, 2 adults and one child, chose to stay at the bungalows. We were very impressed with the service and the accommodation. It was clean and modern with plenty of space for us all. The air conditioning worked well, and the kitchen facilities were handy. It's a nice quiet area, but still close enough to walk to most things. We didn't hire a buggy, just walked or used the bus services which we could jump on right next door.

We stayed for three nights in the Palm Bungalows and had a perfect weekend. From the time we disembarked from a direct Qantas flight, the resort staff were there at the airport to usher their guests to the luggage and transport to the hotel. We were checked in within 5 minutes and delivered to our bungalow by buggy. We were able to enjoy our holiday within half an hour of arriving. The bungalows are very comfortable, modern and very quiet. We stayed in no. 45 which is further back from the ... Read more

On the last day somebody took out from mini bar two bottles of drinks and the amount of 11 Euro has been deducted. Dear Sirs!!! I DO NOT drink vodka ‚??Finlandia‚?? and gin ‚??Gordon‚??. I DO NOT know even a taste of that drinks. If that is such ‚??business‚?? or ‚??thanks‚?? you are Welcome. If not please be more careful during visitors change.

Very nice bungalow. Huge bed and additional bed for our 8y old daughter. Self contained kitchen with basic equipment. Every morning service. Absolutely lovely place. Kangaroos front of your house twice a day. Close to everywhere. 5-15min walk. Don't need buggy. Pointless. One tip: Extra kid mattress was horrible. Every night she was coming to us. That could be look at.

I have to say I loved this hotel. The bungalow we had was right by the little wildlife park they have. It was a five minute walk (up and down) a steep hill to the marina, and a few minutes from the resort centre and beaches. The bungalow had a decent bathroom (great shower) and a small kitchen area, along with a nice veranda that we could sit out on that was sheltered from the pathways. There was even a hammock if you wanted to string it up. There are free shuttles around the island, but no ... Read more

Great location. We as a couple, would definitely stay there again. Bungalows 38-50 best spot. No sea views, but lovely bush setting. Very quiet. Staff are magic. So many options for meals which are from snacks to silver service. Beach is very nice and safe. Many water sports and lots of pools which never seemed overcrowded. We will definitely be going back to the same place. Dent Island lunch and tour is a must do. spectacular.

My partner and i loved this hotel. It was small but spacious especially just for the two of us. It is located in the middle of all the main places to go so it was great. Only thing to be careful is that the freezer is small and doesnt have a door as it is inside a bar fridge. We bought ice cream and it melted throughout the fridge.

The Palm Bungalows was one of the cheapest option we got at the time of booking among the accommodation offer on Hamilton Island. Location is good - half way between cats eye beach and the marina. We hired a buggy but you can easily walk or catch the bus! The room is self contained if you fancy cooking, we didn't so just enjoyed some of the many cafe/restaurant options available on the Island. Arrived on the island for a 6 day stay and we choose the right option for accommodation. The Bungalows are excellent. The bungalow has a nice modern style, with nice new bathroom and sperate toilet. Fully air conditioned, with a porch that you can setup the provided hammock on. You get a choice 3 breakfast locations (if you have it included). Almost everything is within a 5-10min walk, shops, restaurants and bars. Highly recommend the accommodation and the resort itself.
