My husband and I stayed for 6 nights and loved our bungalow. The facilities were great. Lots of room. Clean. Quiet location. Wallabys in the front garden and breakfast with the Koalas......what more could you want! The main reception were very helpful with booking excursions. The restaurants were all great and we would definitely recommend the Palm Bungalows to anyone wanting to visit the Great Barrier Reef.

I stayed with my husband at the Palm Bungalows for 2 nights in December 2016. I should be clear from the outset that Hamilton Island as a whole was really not for us - it felt like a holiday camp for the rich, over-commercial and totally lacking in culture. But if you like having everything on your doorstep then I guess it might be for you! The Palm Bungalows themselves are lovely. We were so glad we choose here over the nearby high-rise Reef View Hotel. The room was clean & tidy, and felt ... Read more

We stayed two nights on Hamilton Island at the Palm Bungalows as part of a 'bucket list' tour of Australia and found them to be ideally suited for our brief stay. Our bungalow had a decent sized bedroom, comfortable bed, quiet air conditioning and an excellent shower and felt calm and tranquil next to the bustle of the adjacent huge Reef View Hotel. The beautiful Catseye Beach is nearby with the marina being a bit further away over a short brute of a hill and very nice but expensive restaurants... Read more

Palm Bungalows offer a quiet getaway from the rest of the island. The bungalows are modern & clean with a comfortable bed & well equiped kitchen. We liked the extra touch of a hammock on the balcony & enjoyed watching the local birds.

My wife and I stayed at the Palm Bungalows for 5 nights between the 19-24th Dec 2016 as part of our trip to Queensland. The bungalows are very well appointed, light and airy and ideal for couples. However, we feel it would be a little cramped if children had to share. Each bungalow consists of a open plan bedroom with small kitchen area. There is also a large and modern bathroom. Air con is fitted which was greatly appreciated as the weather was scorching. Our particular bungalow was positioned ... Read more

I went on a family holiday for 5 night with my parents and son (18). We staying in rooms 9 and 10 in the Bungalows. It was perfect for our needs. It had everything we needed, a spacious bathroom that was sparkling clean. A kitchenette with with 2 stove hotplates, microwave and sink, toaster, jug, pots and pans. For those nights we didn't feel like going out we could cook. The room was super spacious and lovely and cool with quality furnishings. Outside on the veranda my son spent some tim... Read more

Palm Bungalows was a great destination for our first family holiday. The room was modern and new but only big enough for a family of 3 with a young child. We had fresh towels for the pool delivered daily and the decor and bedding were excellent. Some of the best sleeps I've had. Palm bungalows is central to a lot of the activities on Hamilton Island such at Catseye beach, restaurants, pools, kids activities, the main wharf and bars. We could also charge almost everything to our room whic... Read more

Taking into account that we paid 1200 AUD per night, its a huge rip off. The bungalows are basic at the best. Not very clean. Note: NO ROOM SERVICE, basically no service at all. If you stay at the bungalows you will be looked at as a cheap back backer paying 5 star prices. you are excluded from most parts of the resort and can't expect any service. We booked to late so it was probably our fault we ended up here, but seriously neither the island nor the resort is worth going to.

Arrived on the island for a 6 day stay and we choose the right option for accommodation. The Bungalows are excellent. The bungalow has a nice modern style, with nice new bathroom and sperate toilet. Fully air conditioned, with a porch that you can setup the provided hammock on. You get a choice 3 breakfast locations (if you have it included). Almost everything is within a 5-10min walk, shops, restaurants and bars. Highly recommend the accommodation and the resort itself.

We stayed for 3 nights and loved this place, could have stayed longer. Very nice to have privacy and not be in the hotel. Hammock as very popular, and all facilities very good. Able to walk to the beach, marina etc easily from here. Even had a kangaroo in front of the bungalow!
