This hotel was conveniently located in the CBD and was walking distance to the Smith Street Mall and Woolies. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. This is not the newest hotel so the decor is a bit retro but it was extremely clean. Given it's close proximity to Woolies, it was helpful to have a kitchen to store and prepare food. During my stay, breakfast was 50% off. Even at regular price I would say the breakfast is well worth the price. Warning, the Big Breakfast is REALLY big! Not rea... Read more

Stayed there in Jan and Feb for work and fell in love with Darwin staying at the Mediterranean made the experience all the better that I went back for holidays in April for 11 days, very clean and fantastic staff, free wifi, awesome pool and central to everything ( look for the barra). I can honestly say I need not look any further. Then there is breakfast. Try it.

Stayed two nights at both ends of a trip to Kakadu at the end of wet season. Nice location near restaurants, esplanade and Doctors gully. Pool was wonderful to cool off and very nice breakfast. We had a two room suite which worked well for my wife myself and daughter.

This would have to be the absolute cleanest accommodation we have ever stayed in - a credit to management and staff. Newly refurbished suites are modern and a delight to be in. Beds a bit firm for us. Breakfasts reasonably priced and homecooked quality. All staff happy, approachable and most welcoming. Bus stop out front to catch buses to most things you would want to visit. A short walk to shops, etc but easy for walkers to access. You would be hard to please if not delighted with this accommod... I travelled by myself on this short stay in Darwin (3 nights) and that can be a bit daunting but luckily I booked at this hotel and was very welcomed. I arrived very late but the keys were left in the safe and lights and air con turned on for me which was great. The next morning I was welcomed by the staff and treated to an amazing breakfast in the new restaurant. The hotel was run by excellent management and staff, and had a nice pool area which was great in the afternoons, felt more like a loc... Read more

Have been coming here for the last 5 years. I cannot praise this place enough. The rooms are spacious and extremely well maintained and clean. Staff are just amazing and the Manager/owner Anna is an exceptional host. Any issues are dealt with post haste, they are very few and far between. It's great for families and the restaurant is now open for breakfast, in a newly renovated restaurant. The units are only 5 minutes walk to Mitchel Street shops and pubs. You will not be disappointed when stay... Read more

I come to Darwin regularly for work and now always stay here. The rooms are quite spacious with a well-equipped kitchen, full-size fridge and comfortable bed. This is an older style property, the rooms have tile floors and are simply furnished however some more expensive ones have been recently refurbished and are very flash! The pool is refreshing and the barramundi in the pond look well fed. Anna and all the staff are friendly, unobtrusive and have lots of local knowledge and advice. Its locat... Read more

Wanted to relax for a few days on a staycation. We picked meditetranean with a spa suite. Clean & comfortable. A bonus was car parking was secured. I would suggest a tv in the bedroom. other than that was a great stay.

This was our second stay here. It's in a great location, apartment style accommodation. Easy to walk to the centre of Darwin, bus stop at the door virtually, undercover parking and lovely pool. Clean towels each day and partial service was a welcome bonus.

Im a local and have stayed multiple times here, always get the penthouse, its a 3bedroom, 2 story townhouse style... 2 bedrooms have their own spa baths, very large rooms...a must get, considering the price you pay for shoebox rooms in Darwin, has nice saltwater swimming pool, I would not consider any other place, it even out does skycity casino rooms!!!!

This is old style apartment hotel in the city. Everything is well maintained and clean. Personals are really friendly and helpful and they really love their hotel. Lovely pool in he middle with always fresh and clean towels. It so nice to refresh here after long day. Free wifi with good signal everywhere in the hotel. 10$ continental buffet including normal coffee and juice is good option to start your day. Although eggs and bacon for couple more dollars. Covered secure parking is also good opt... Read more

I was working in Darwin for 10 days. This is a great location with a lovely pool. Staff are very friendly and hospitable. They have a modern breakfast area with very reasonable prices. A lot cheaper than Perth prices! The rooms were very comfortable and most important "clean". The hotel manager runs a "tight ship" and always available for any inquiries. I would definitely stay here again!

This place had a strange layout but was clean and huge. There is a separate room with two single beds and a kitchen. The other room has a queen bed, open bathroom area with separate toilet. The rooms were divided by a half height wall. The beds were comfortable and the place immaculately clean. We hired a car from the airport using budget rentals. The car was able to be picked up at the airport with a short walk. It cost $58 per day for a 100km per day. there was easy parking at the hotel... Read more

We enjoyed our stay here. We were upgraded to a newer room, which was spotless and well-appointed. Free parking and wifi were very welcome, and when we asked for a late check out, they were happy to accommodate our request. It's on the edge of the CBD, and there are other locations that are more scenic, perhaps. But it's a pretty good bargain for Darwin, where accommodation can be pretty good expensive, especially in the high season.

While this hotel is not terribly new and modern, it is immaculately clean and extremely well maintained. The staff are all very helpful, friendly and efficient. The location is very central and handy. The pool is lovely, car parking mostly undercover. All you need for a very comfortable stay.

The room is big. Lounge, dining and kitchen (with two single beds) in one room, main and bathroom in the other. Flexible layout, but you're not going to get a lot of privacy with a family. Kitchen is well equipped. Good to see a full size fridge. Plenty of gear supplied to cook and serve four. Luxury in the shower/spa, and nicely arranged. Big bed very comfortable; I slept very well. Airconditioning and ceiling fans worked well in winter, not sure how they'd go in summer. In fact I had to cr... Read more

Our room had a separate kitchen dining and lounge area, Quite spacious. The hotel has a lift making it easier to get to the top levels. The after hours check in went Ok, except I didn't read the parking arrangements properly. The shower was in the bedroom, which we didn't like . We are used to have the shower in the bathroom. There was no bed side table in my side of the bed, so no where to put my glasses, phone, remotes water etc. Used a chair as a bed side table.

This hotel is located in a quieter part of town within walking distance of the major attraction in Darwin. Hotel is clean, value accommodation - our room was fine for a family but 2 couples sharing might be awkward. We stayed in a 1 bedroom suite with an unusual floorplan. There is no separate bathroom and there is a gap at the top of the dividing wall allowing the aircon to be shared across both rooms. So limited privacy. There is one double bed in the bedroom and 2 singles in the living room... Read more

Room clean and roomy with large fridge, only wish the TV was a little bit bigger as a distance from the couch. Great pool and the staff were very friendly and helpful. After hours check in worked great and those with cars parking is easy.

I had a really good stay here. The two-room suite was spacious, clean and pleasant. But the best asset of this hotel is the staff. Like many other travelers to Darwin, I used the city as a base for tours, around the city, around the area. And the staffers were so helpful and informative. I've stayed at five-star hotels, with top-class concierges, and these people are just as talented. (Though, happily, the hotel is a fraction of the cost of a five-star place!) The Mediterranean is easy to get to... Read more

This is the second time that I have stayed here. Rooms are quite large. They have a wall added to give a second room which is good for families. Very clean. There is now a breakfast dining room that has been added recently. Good selection and reasonable prices. There is a pool, laundry and it is a short walk to cbd.

Many positives- good location, strong wi-fi, and free parking. Bathroom is in the bedroom and the toilet is also( albeit, well concealed/separated) so it's quite strange. It's more a studio with a wardrobe separating the living/sleeping-ablutions than a suite. Good linens, comfortable bed, but a persistent odd smell in the lift. Price ($180/night) pretty good for Darwin.

We had a really nice stay here. The two room suite was very clean and comfortable. The pool was gem nice and refreshing. A larger TV would be good but not essential. Walking distance to the Darwin shops. Location excellent. Internet not great in the corner room.

Double bed in one room with the bathroom and two single beds in the lounge area. very clean , staff very helpful. not flash but spa bath nice surprise ! there is a pool and reasonable priced cafe.

The staff here are very helpful and the hotel very clean. It is very easy to walk to shops ,supermarket ,beach and Mindle market. The rooms need updating ,the room configuration is terrible . The two bedroom is open plan with the roof not even reaching the ceiling so that light and noise goes into the room next store. But if you are not fussy and on a budget this is the place to stay.

I stayed for about 50 nights all up, hotel is very clean with secure parking. The locals get drunk and noisy at night which you can hear from your room. Close to everything, not that it matters because its too hot to walk anywhere. Internet access is bit hit and miss and constantly drops out. Staff are excellent.
