A great experience all round. We were greeted with a smile and shown our table. I ordered the fish cake entree and it was mouthwatering, excellent starter. I ordered an apple and pear veg strudle, as a main, it was exceptional. Beautifully presented, timely, and cooked to perfection. For dessert i ordered a pudding w butterscotch sce and ice cream, i couldnt fault it, it was presented beautifully once again. The service was great and staff very attentative. I stayed here for two weeks for work and found the staff very pleasant. Location is great, right in the heart of the CBD. 5 minute walk to mall and Mitchell Street. My unit was totally self contained, supermarket just around the corner. I stayed on the 19th floor with beautiful views of the city lights and the bay. Would definitely stay here again.

I visited this hotel for the first time. I found the hotel Very convenient. It's in the city centre, we can reach anywhere in walking distance. I found receptionist very helpful and kind. The hotel has every facilities we need. The hotel has a restaurant.I had dinner there in my first night . It is very welcoming place.they have outstanding service and staff are very friendly. After checking out early from another hotel, we had some tough criteria. Mantra Pandanas ticked them all. The hotel is modern and fresh, the room airy and the staff accommodating and customer focused. We availed ourselves of the pool and spa, and had a sea view from our room. As opposed to the hotels down on the Esplanade or Mitchell St, we didn't have to put up with noisy nightclubs, bars and pubs. We slept blissfully! We had a roomy bathroom with flash toiletries, washing machine, dry... Read more

The Staff were friendly and the rooms were modern and clean, the only thing that could use some improvement is some more diversity on the dinner menu as I found myself setting for something to eat rather than finding it hard to choose due to lots to pick from.

We stayed here weekend before last. It was our first trip to Darwin and we loved every minute. As there were three couples, we decided to book a three bedroom apartment. Ours was on the 23rd floor with amazing views over the harbour, and the sunset each night was just incredible. The apartment was very spacious and clean, and had a very large wrap around balcony which we made very good use of. The complex is very well located, within easy walk of the city centre, and Woolworths just a block ... Read more

Excellent time staying in the hotel. Enjoyed it immensely. The rooms were great, the view from the 19th level was fantastic. The staff were very friendly and efficient. Best place to stay in Darwin. We will recommend Mantra Pandanas to friends and family, and anyone we know of who is travelling to Darwin.

This is a great place to stay in central Darwin. Everything is a short walk away. Rooms are modern and housekeeping staff very attentive and keep the rooms immaculate‚?? keep up the good work! Paying for parking isn‚??t a huge deal as it looks as if most of Darwin CDB is moving to paid parking ‚?? plus I used the car park once I had checked out ‚?? thank you to reception staff for doing that. We were staying at the hotel around the corner, it was so bad we decided to move to Mantra, so glad we did. The Mantra was everything we expected. We enjoyed a great breakfast every morning and a delicious dinner in the main restaurant. The staff on reception were very obliging with all our requests, even offered a late checkout so we didn't have to sit around at the airport for hours. Never had that happen before. We will DEFINATELY stay at Mantra again.

Serviced apartment was clean & in a good location for CBD sights. Housekeeping service was very prompt when additional towels were needed. Parking on the street was easy & no need to pay extra for hotel parking. Pillows in the room were very ordinary there were no spares. sadly, typical of too many Australian hotels, there was no free WiFi. It's strange that the local restaurants had free WiFi, but a $300 a night hotel did not.

No complaints at all about the apartment. Very well equipped and serviced. Property is in a very good location close to shops and the waterfront. Overall had a very good stay here. However if you need internet access during your stay be cautious as they use a third party internet provider, which does not look too reliable. The cost is very high and I ended up 'donating' money to the 3rd party because I paid money and never received a code to go on the internet, kept saying I hadn't bought a pla... Read more

average all round, cleanliness was adequate, but when you find various bits and pieces such as socks from previous occupants then it becomes questionable about the thorough cleaning of the room The shower water also runs away from the drain and floods the bathroom if not careful, there is also a trip hazard with the raised step into the bathroom(particularly in the middle of the night with the lights off )

For the price we paid, I was disappointed. Check in was simply hello and here's your key. There was no mention of breakfast times or location, nothing about where to get pool towels, no mention of where the Main Street or shopping area was. The friendliest staff member was the housekeeping lady. And although there was a distant view of the water- we mainly looked out at a tall building and a car park. On the plus side, it was very quite and the bed was comfortable.

On a 4 day business trip to Darwin, I picked the Mantra Pandanus on the brand. Its reasonably located in the main street, a few blocks back from the Esplanade and the Waterfront. This is no problem as the Darwin CBD is not big, and the shops, offices cafes and waterfront are only a few blocks from anywhere anyway. It's about a $30 taxi from the airport. The foyer is pretty sparse, and the attached bar and cafe is the only place to work other than in the room. The room itself is quite OK, no bath... Read more

Located in Heart of Darwin's cafe's and shopping area. A good walk will get you to most places. If I was staying longer, say a week I'd hire a car and drive out and about to the gorges, parks, etc. since Darwin is small and quiet so there is only so much wondering about you can do. But this was perfect for a 4 night stay as it is close to most things. Plus we had booked a tour out to Kakadu for one of those days. The hotel staff were friendly, helpful. Was a lovely view from the 18th floor. Even though there wasn't a balcony, the sunset was still sensational. The bathroom was very clean and tidy, the bed set out and room layout is very spacious. The breakfast buffet was very delicious and the chefs kept cooking until 10am which is the finish time so no food was old for the late comers.

All in all not a bad place to stay. It is clean, the beds are comfortable, etc, etc. However, from my point of view, it doesn't deliver the quality or amenities required for the price. If I am paying $315 a night for a room across a four night stay, I don't expect to have to pay another $25 per night for WiFi. I call that gouging. The mining construction boom is over, but Darwin's elevated price expectations live on.

Some complimentary items should have been part of the room. I'm I needed water, I would have had to pay $3.50, which is not ideal. Bed was not comfortable as it was literally 2 single beds combined in 1. I could feel the gap in the middle. Not a lot of entertainment when it comes to watching TV. The view was nice.

Amazingly inflated prices which don't include breakfast or Internet. Both are sold as exorbitant add ons. Can anyone believe $40 for wifi internet in this day and age? The room and service was fine and the location is central enough but at a premium price which its facilities can't justify.
