I ordered an apple and pear veg strudle, as a main, it was exceptional. Beautifully presented, timely, and cooked to perfection. For dessert i ordered a pudding w butterscotch sce and ice cream, i couldnt fault it, it was presented beautifully once again. The service was great and staff very attentative. I stayed here for two weeks for work and found the staff very pleasant. Location is great, right in the heart of the CBD. 5 minute walk to mall and Mitchell Street. My unit was totally self contained, supermarket just around the corner. I stayed on the 19th floor with beautiful views of the city lights and the bay. Would definitely stay here again.

After checking out early from another hotel, we had some tough criteria. Mantra Pandanas ticked them all. The hotel is modern and fresh, the room airy and the staff accommodating and customer focused. We availed ourselves of the pool and spa, and had a sea view from our room. As opposed to the hotels down on the Esplanade or Mitchell St, we didn't have to put up with noisy nightclubs, bars and pubs. We slept blissfully! The Staff were friendly and the rooms were modern and clean, the only thing that could use some improvement is some more diversity on the dinner menu as I found myself setting for something to eat rather than finding it hard to choose due to lots to pick from.

We stayed here weekend before last. It was our first trip to Darwin and we loved every minute. As there were three couples, we decided to book a three bedroom apartment. Ours was on the 23rd floor with amazing views over the harbour, and the sunset each night was just incredible. The apartment was very spacious and clean, and had a very large wrap around balcony which we made very good use of. We enjoyed a great breakfast every morning and a delicious dinner in the main restaurant. The staff on reception were very obliging with all our requests, even offered a late checkout so we didn't have to sit around at the airport for hours. Never had that happen before. Parking on the street was easy & no need to pay extra for hotel parking. Pillows in the room were very ordinary there were no spares. sadly, typical of too many Australian hotels, there was no free WiFi. It's strange that the local restaurants had free WiFi, but a $300 a night hotel did not.

average all round, cleanliness was adequate, but when you find various bits and pieces such as socks from previous occupants then it becomes questionable about the thorough cleaning of the room The shower water also runs away from the drain and floods the bathroom if not careful, there is also a trip hazard with the raised step into the bathroom(particularly in the middle of the night with the lights off )

For the price we paid, I was disappointed. Check in was simply hello and here's your key. There was no mention of breakfast times or location, nothing about where to get pool towels, no mention of where the Main Street or shopping area was. The friendliest staff member was the housekeeping lady. And although there was a distant view of the water- we mainly looked out at a tall building and a car park. On the plus side, it was very quite and the bed was comfortable.

On a 4 day business trip to Darwin, I picked the Mantra Pandanus on the brand. Its reasonably located in the main street, a few blocks back from the Esplanade and the Waterfront. This is no problem as the Darwin CBD is not big, and the shops, offices cafes and waterfront are only a few blocks from anywhere anyway. It's about a $30 taxi from the airport. All in all not a bad place to stay. It is clean, the beds are comfortable, etc, etc. However, from my point of view, it doesn't deliver the quality or amenities required for the price. If I am paying $315 a night for a room across a four night stay, I don't expect to have to pay another $25 per night for WiFi. I call that gouging. The mining construction boom is over, but Darwin's elevated price expectations live on.

Some complimentary items should have been part of the room. I'm I needed water, I would have had to pay $3.50, which is not ideal. Bed was not comfortable as it was literally 2 single beds combined in 1. I could feel the gap in the middle. Not a lot of entertainment when it comes to watching TV. The view was nice.

Overall, a lovely place to stay with a roomy clean and comfortable room - unfortunately one life wasn't working meaning it got a bit busy when the guys came back from the gas plant but other than that, no complaints. One thing that could be improved is an extra loaction for placing and opening luggage

I was glad of my stay at the Mantra Pandanas during the ECA conference, it was central to everything we needed, the convention centre was only a 10 minute walk maybe closer if you walk fast and many ways of getting to it, close to the malls and the nightlife of the city. Our room have a wonderful view of the city and waterfront, always clean and beds made up, even the public toilet on the ground floor is clean, lots of lounges to sit on in the foyer while we wait for our colleagues. Mantra Pandanas is in a great location just far away from the city. My room had a nice view but that was it. Check in staff extremely rude and unhelpful. When I asked for a map it was like id asked for a million dollars. Room was dated and had a foul smell. Maintenance came and sprayed some smelly stuff in my room but that wore off quick. Restaurant ordinary, Id rather eat at maccas up the road. Wont be back!

Had a very pleasant stay at the Hotel Mantra Pandanas. Staff were very friendly and very helpful in arranging Lunch and meeting facilities. The room was very clean and spacious took a little while to get used to the noise from the air conditioning but this was essential and kept the room very cool. I have read other reviews reading the wifi but would add that if you speak to reception they will give you a temporary pass to access the wifi which worked great. Stayed in the standard hotel hotel room and it was brilliant ! Huge room with water views and a balcony. Bed was extremely comfortable and room was cleaned perfectly every day ( they even tidied and lined up my very messy shoe pile ) The reception staff very accommodating and helpful. On little downside - the pool was very hard to enter without steps -especially for people with mobility problems. Other than that I would definitely stay here again!

Spent two nights at this hotel. The rooms were spacious and bathroom was very clean. I had a bathroom with a combined laundry as well. The air conditioning worked very well. I personally found the pillows in the bed not the best but was still good for sleeping in. Wifi was not free which is a downside. Buffet breakfast was plentiful and to a good standard. The staff were very nice and helpful for checking in. Car park can be a bit slow to get in and out of as you need to buzz in and out. Overall... Read more

Couldn't fault our stay at the hotel. Friendly staff. The room (city view room) was beautiful, spacious and comfortable, Although they had these huge pillows that weren't too comfortable. The pool is amazing and overlooks the city from the 6th floor. A great location, central to restaurants, shops and cafes.

This is my second visit. First experience very good hence my return. This time not so great. My first room had a terrible smell. Woke me up around 2:30am. I opened the door but did not have a good night. I expressed my concerns about the room to reception in the morning and they addressed the problem. Gave me an upgrade but they still needed to point out that they could not smell the smell I had complained about. This did not make me feel that my complaint had been taken seriously. I felt like ... Well positioned centrally with just a very short walk to most restaurants and the waterfront. Studio room was modern and well appointed with a huge, comfortable bed and the ensuite was large and clean. Daily room service was well done and thoughtful to leave the aircon on afterwards so I came back to a cool room each day (33 degrees C+ each day in October). My room looked straight into an office building opposite so would recommend requesting a high floor or unobstructed view on another side o... Read more

After paying 198 per night for a city view room I had no balcony & a tiny room 1902. I checked out after 2 night and returned the following day for 3 nights. After checking in for a second time my room key cancelled after 24 hours so I was unable to get into my room after a long day. I'm currently on crutches with a broken leg so having to go back to reception and sort it out was very upsetting. the second night of my second stay at 3am the fire alarms went off for 15 minutes. the fire trucks ca... This was a single night stay for a business trip. Overall, I had a comfortable stay. The room was spacious and well cooled on a 35 degree day. The bed was comfortable and the wifi was good. The television was problematic - small screen size and the remote control didn't work particularly well. It wasn't worth complaining about given I was only there for a short while.
