I like this hotel. it is very convenient to the government offices and the mall. Lots of restaurants nearby for eating out as well as a good restaurant in the hotel. My room was spacious and well fitted out, including convenient power points and a good desk. The shower was good. I didn't eat in the restaurant in the evening as was with colleagues who took me to some other eateries but I breakfast there and it was plentiful with a lot of choice. A short weekend break for myself and the wife whilst working away. Fantastic hotel with great customer service. Room was a nice size and very clean but I think we'll use the club next time for that little bit extra as it was basic. Pool and fitness facilities were first class and an early check in while I waited for the wife to fly in was a welcome bonus Definitely stopping here again.

Staff were very friendly, service was great, room was welcoming and clean. Biggest negative is the quality and choice of food on offer in general. Definitly not up to the standard of an international hotel chain. Breakfast in restaurant was bland, boring, and lacked a range of exciting options. Ordered the beef rendang, and chocolate mousse from your room service menu during my first night stay. Rice was a leftover from days before, which had been reheated hard and stuck in clumps. This hotel was clean with efficient service which is great. Probably one of the best in Darwin - the choices aren't great to be honest. Room service was good but the bar downstairs didn't make very good cocktails, I can make better ones at home myself. A very nice, clean and conveniently located hotel. Very close to harbour (10 minute walk) and a couple of minutes to the crazy bars of Mitchell Street. The pool could do with an upgrade - and was very cold (as was the spa). Also lacked towels in the afternoon. Also no supervision which lead to some shenanigans with some young men dancing on the roof, throwing chairs and towels in the pool. Guessing the security cameras don't work. We stayed at the Hilton either side of our visit to Kakadu. We booked a suite which was essentially 2 inter-connecting rooms with a sitting/lounge area which worked well with our two daughters (15 and 12). We didn't spend much time at the hotel but we did use the valet parking service and the pool. Both were pretty good, and we found the service generally of a god standard. Everything I'd expect from a Hilton hotel. One criticism being that their only draught lager tap wasn't working so bottle beer was served but at that point in the night it wasnt much of a problem and the music in the bar was real nice and relaxing. Stayed at Hilton Darwin on a recommendation from a colleague. The room was well presented and had free wifi as a HHonors member (free to join when booking). Online checkin system saved time at the front desk and we got to select our room of choice. Made good use of the executive lounge for the breakfast and printing documents for client meetings. Hotel is positioned perfectly, being a short walk to the Supreme Court & Parliament, the waterfront precinct and main shopping mall. Car hire companies... Read more

I recently stayed in this hotel for four nights during a conference I attended in Darwin. I had previously stayed in this hotel about five years ago when it was then a Crowne Plaza (from memory). The hotel is conveniently located in the Main Street of Darwin, and a short walk from the waterfront precinct and plenty of bars and restaurants. My room was a decent size, with a glass desk which was good for work, a firm but very comfortable king size bed. The room was well maintained, very clean, but... Read more

Having stayed at a number of Hiltons around the world this one is unfortunately at the bottom of the list. The hotel is dated everywhere you look. The facade looks like a concrete communist relic from Cuba. The corridors smell and the carpets are worn. The walls are paper thin, mattresses sink all the way to the floor, rooms are dated and low shower pressure completes the package of what is defiantly not a 4-5 star hotel that the Hiltons should be. Hotel needs an overhaul and and update. Disappo... Read more

Good location and thats where it ends. Lucky to be a 3 star. Room was Ok, good size, but very plain. Bathroom tiny, towels need replacing. Pool, was not cleaned properly, lobby looks half decorated, and staff are difficult to contact. Nobody answers the phone, and getting your mini bar restocked is impossible - it takes 2 days.

Darwin is a quintessential Australian city with no other place like it in Australia. The hotel looks like a relic from the 1970's from the outside and lobby area but the rooms have at least been updated a few decades. The rooms are spacious enough, the air conditioning works, the bed is firm. The only issue I had during my stay was the water pressure in the shower. I was there for a 4 night stay during a conference and I suggest next time they have a conference booked with a mass of people arriv... Read more

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the service was very good. Unfortunately, the facilities were not up to the same standard. There was consistently no hot water. The water pressure was very poor and the barh took over an hour to fill. The airconditioner was very noisy. Parking was exorbitant and WiFi was not free.

Staff are very friendly. The pool area is a great place to unwind after a hard day of work. Wish the day was longer. Great location to town and numerous restaurants. Easy walk to Mindl Beach markets too.

Fantastic guest services that made our stay that much more relaxing and enjoyable. The staff went out of their way to ensure we were having a great stay. My vehicle was too high to fit in the car park for valet parking so staff parked it in the loading dock for me which was appreciated as we had a few valuable items that we wanted to leave in the car.

Good room, good foyer services and meeting rooms. Average hotel gym could be improved. Pool is good for enjoying the weather. Easy location for eating out. Buffet breakfast average and some good options within a 5 min walk.

For a five star hotel we found this a little disappointing. The location is great but no wifi without payment and the breakfast was under par for a five star hotel. We ordered the omelette and it took 20 minutes to arrive, the bacon was rubbery along with the sausages. We found the bathroom moldy and the daily house keeping was inconsistent. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the pool area clean.

Let me start by saying while I appreciate the efforts of Hilton Darwin, with the new furnishings, etc, they just fall short in standard. Hilton hotels belong to old glamour, like the Intercontinental, but Intercontinental Hotels try to be relevant while retaining its classic charm. The Hilton Darwin was an average hotel. The hallway on the 15th floor had a funky, sulphuric smell, and the walls between rooms are paper thin, which is a privacy issue. You can hear toilet activities, the tvs, and t... Read more

The hotel is well located, close to everything. Lobby looks good but had a strange smell that hits you as soon as you walk in. Service is good, and kudos must be given to Joe who is funny and sweet. Breakfast is average for the price- It's better to just walk outside where there are plenty of other options. Overall, hotel is OK but certainly not a 5-star hotel.

$134/night during wet season. Not quite up to stay standards of big city hiltons but great location. Buffet bfast was nice. No complaints, I think it's more a 4 Star than a 5. Pool area was nice and gym was just equiped enough.

The hotel is in a great location & the staff are very courteous and accommodating. Breakfast was a very nice buffet & the rooms are comfortable & quite . I think the hotel just feels a little dull when you enter the lobby..it is functional with a certain air of tiredness. which does not really shout 5 star but none the less it was perfect for our overnight stay. Staff were helpful recommending restaurants & a taxi when required.

My suite can only cool to 20c. Would be fine, but i'm not from a warm region. Also, 20c is about as hot as the water gets. Asked for someone to look at it and had no follow-up. Otherwise, nice enough property and the Excutive Lounge is great.

This is the hotel for you if you want to be in the centre of it all in Darwin. In my view, it is the most central location for doing business in the city and offers all the amenities. I strongly suggest the extra for the executive lounge access for general convenience and privacy in doing business.

Rooms were clean and did the job. The hotel is overall tired. Breakfast is adequate, with poor coffee. Can pay extra on top of the $29 per person for breakfast to get someone to make a real coffee. Just down Mitchell Road is a cafe called Alley Cat, with excellent coffee, friendly staff and interesting breakfast for a fraction of the cost. Why would anyone stay for the hotel breakfast?

I'll start off as I usually do; it was great. My daughter and I spent Friday (25th) there as it was my sons formal. I never have anything to fault about the hotel and that's why I always choose this one when we come in to town to stay the night. However I do have to point out that I was not happy with the Hilton Reservation team that I rang to book the room. Of course it went to an overseas number (call centre) and they were extremely rude; and asking me where is Darwin what country. I advised t... Read more

I wouldn't stay in this hotel again, it's not value for money at all. The concierge parking service was a joke, $35 a day and you cannot get your car into the hotel driveway to use it. The cars are constantly piled up out the front and it doesn't appear anyone is sorting out or concerned about the situation. The breakfast is $29 a day, I don't each much but that is the flat cost, the choice is good but when you only eat one sausage and some eggs $29 is pretty expensive.

The Hilton in Darwin was very good, the staff were all very pleasant and helpful. The hotel is located centrally in the City and the staff were very helpful directing us and giving us insights to the different tours that are run in Darwin. My friend and myself would definitely stay there in the future if every we visit Darwin again.

Nice accomodation, friendly staff. As an Honours member we could pick our room before check in on the app which was really good. Pick which floor we were on too. Only downside was the food. Room service food was expensive and very average. The breakfast downstairs was actually really bad. And really expensive for what it was. We only ate there once which was such a shame because we loved the hotel. We would stay here again

Due to the age of the property and the many small outstanding maintenance issues, this would not be the best quality Hilton property I have stayed in but based on the overall quality of the staff I would certainly stay here again when returning to Darwin. It was also good value for money due to the rate I paid.

Huge lineups at the front desk, long waits. I used the valet parking, but a couple of times there has been no valet there! After waiting around for 10 minutes or so, I went behind the valets desk ?? found the key tag cards ?? filled it out, tore off the receipt portion and left my keys there. When I came back later the car had been parked, so all good! Jokes aside, they seem severely understaffed. There is actual dried blood inside the shower The A/C controller is broken.
