We had an enjoyable and memorable stay at the Hilton Darwin, which only enhanced the overall experience of our holiday to Darwin / the NT. The staff was uniformly professional, with customer experience seeming to be their core focus. The staff at Reception, Dining, Concierge, Room Service and the Lounge were all very attentive, polite and generous with their time - all clearly pointing towards excellent management standards and training for the staff. The room was fantastic (we also got an up... Read more

I travel a lot for business and I confess in the past when the Hilton Darwin was the Crowns Plaza I stayed their in preference to other Darwin accommodation due to location and quality. When the hotel changed hands to the Hilton I was so dissapointed with the drop in standard that I switched over to the Rydges Airport Resort. Alas, Rydges Airport is no more so I gave the Hilton another try. While I would not say I was pleasantly surprised it has certainly lifted its game. Despite this the room... Read more

We recently stayed on the 18th floor of the Darwin Hilton hotel. The room had a ocean view and was very comfortable. Clean tidy spacious and provided all our needs. The Hilton is so well located to all facilities in the city and you do feel great whilst lounging in the impressive foyer. We were most impressed with the hands on activity of the General Manager - her presence in and around the hotel was most discreet and evident .- even sssisting some guests with their luggage out to a coach. Only thing I wasn't happy with was the shower and heating system. The customer service and location was ideal, I had a nice stay. I didn't use any of the amenities as I was already booked to be elsewhere. Next time I'd like to have a room with a ocean look out and personal parking, Wi-Fi and Breakfast. But I'm sure that costs an extra $150 on top of the $139 for one night...

Its a Hilton, so I dont need to say much... The swimming pool could be in a higher floor with sunset view, but nothing is perfect. You can see the sunset in the park in front of the hotel. They dont have parking lot, just vallet service, but you can leave the car in the street for free in weekends.

This is a three star property at best. Very dated. Foyer smells like a toilet. Room is small. Loud airconditioner, we needed to turn it off to sleep. Old, grey, threadbare and fraying towels. Bathroom toiletries ordinary. Glasses in room still had previous occupants' lipstick on rim. Dirty windows. Swimming pool very small, crowded and water cloudy. We upgraded to Club access but one visit was enough to show it was not worth the expense. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Interesting to have a ... Read more

This is more of a Double Tree than a Hilton - it does not have the class and amenities I expect of the Hilton brand. The rooms lacked the features I would expect of a Hilton - eg no robes and no stocked minibar. The hallways are dusty. We went for a romantic getaway & sadly did not wish to linger at the hotel. The breakfast was disappointing & lacking in quality for a purported 5 star hotel- eg communal jars of cheap jam with knives stuck in them at the toaster station, no specialty bread apar... Read more

The Darwin Hilton is very well located on Mitchell street. You can walk to all the main businesses from the hotel. It is not the biggest Hilton, but surely provides the efficient service that you may expect. The rooms are sylish but a bit cold as they are mainly in grey colours. The hotel is also very ambitious as the floor levels start from 10 onwards, so you have the impression that you are on a high floor even if you are not! Don't be mistaken by this. The view from the higher floors is very ... Read more

The first morning we left to see the sites and came back to find to the room had been made up but no towels. Called housekeeping and no response. Called reception and towels arrived promptly Day two- left at 6.30am and got back 12 hours later. Room not even made up this time. Decided to go for a run and came back to find an empty minibar. Info says it's restocked daily. Well we sure didn't drink it dry. Called reception who said that they don't do minibar. You need to order. I would have thought... Read more
