Good service, but too much paper work to sign. Good location, very near to the heart of the CBD. Nice apartment size. the access from the car park is good, lead you near to the elevators direct to the apartment.

This hotel (self contained apartments) is so close to everything you need. I was there for business (with an extra day for family) but would definitely recommend this for a vacation as well. There's restaurants and a convenience store across the road. Car parking under the hotel. The staff are efficient and friendly - I would like to thank Stuart on the front desk - he always seem to be there and consistently friendly, organised and helpful.

This hotel is so close to everything you need. 7-11, restaurant, shopping mall, etc. I was there for business. However the hotel management should definitely look into the weird smells within the lift area (especially on the 15th floor - where i'm stayed). Overall satisfied with my stays.

Loved my stay here, it was very modern and the bed was so comfortable. The view from my room over looked the city and was just so beautiful at night. I would recommend this place if your looking for a weekend getaway with mates or a couples getaway. I will be booking this place again

Stayed here for 2 nights earlier this month, was paying for both my room and a colleagues on the business credit card and realised i had to sort our deposit out as we were both checking in at different times. Asked the hotel before we flew in if I could pay for our deposit when I arrived as the credit card was under my name, they said no and offered me to complete a form that would authorise them to take the security deposit payment from the credit card for both our rooms before we both arrived ... We have stayed in many Oaks apartments before (including Festival Towers), and have had great experiences with the accommodation previously. This time, however, we were very disappointed. The smell in the hallway was putrid (I guess it came from the refuse room), something really needs to be done about this. I noticed the smell during our previous stay on a different level, but it wasn't as strong. When my husband went to use the toilet shortly after arrival, there was remnants of the last gues... What a great hotel right in the heart of Brisbane, we had asked in advance for a high floor and were delighted to be given a top floor apartment on check in. Staff were very helpful and the room was clean and tidy with a great kitchen area comfortable lounge and even a separate dining area with windows that opened up. Can not fault this hotel and next time we are back in Brisbane this hotel will be at the top of our list. Thanks to all the staff for making our holiday so enjoyable

We had a 2 bedroom with 2 bathroom apartment. Perfect base for staying in the heart of Brisbane. Hotel is getting a little dated but it was clean, comfortable and had everything you'd require for a short stay. The enclosed balcony, which opens up of the living area, makes the unit feel much more spacious than it actually is. The 2 bedrooms are quite separate so privacy is good however one room is ensuited and the other has their bathroom just outside their door. Wi-Fi - 20 minutes is free then ... Read more

Normally, I never had to write a negative review but this was our first. We arrived at the hote at 10am while the service staff was very sweet and nice when they check us in. We had notice the air conditioning was faulty when we unpack our luggage. The hotel employee had attend to us at 12pm but claim that the air conditioning will soon be working. Stayed here for 5 nights for a business trip in a 2 bed unit on a higher level. Great views of the city, very convenient central location. Apartment was very roomy and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. Bed was comfortable. Staff were helpful and accommodating. Gym was basic but served the purpose. I had a corner room which was very quiet with little noticeable corridor noise. Biggest negative was that you have to pay for wi-fi. Would definitely stay there again.

We stayed on the 18th floor this year with a great 2 bedroomed apartment with a lounge between the two bedrooms. Ideal for travelling with children! This time I travelled with my daughter and her two children aged 3 and 5 months. Porto cots are far from ideal as you have to lift the baby in and out down to floor level. Have stayed here a few times now but this time was the best with the room having Awsome views, level 35 looking out over Southbank. Festival towers is in a good spot close to everything. Would definitely keep staying here and will request this room from now on. Appartments are a average size for a 1 bedroom and nice and clean. Staff were all very friendly and accomodating.

Airconditioning was not working in the bedroom so was so hot that we had trouble sleeping. The room was nice & open. Plenty of room to have drinks. Closing in the patio is a great idea. Really opens up the room.

I have stayed here twice in the last two years and the housecleaning for a serviced apartment is of a poor standard. If you leave your personal belongings on the bed they will leave you a note to explain why they did not make the bed 'because they did not want to touch your personal stuff'. At the same time I had my toiletries rearranged in the bathroom. Not even benches were wiped or floor swept. Just new towels and rubbish removed. I spoke to someone in charge who confirmed that the note o... Read more

After two months travelling down the Queensland coast the Oaks Festival Towers was our last hotel of many and we liked it. Our twelth floor room was roomy, clean and well appointed although the high views were somewhat restricted. The pool area is also good, two pools, one heated although in hot weather, and the city gets plenty, there is no shade which means that use during the day is unpleasant. Although most of the staff working on reception were pleasant and helpful this wasn't universally th... Read more

We stayed in this hotel for a family weekend in the city. Are are some of our thoughts. Some of the reception staff were awesome and so helpful. Some were just there doing there job. 20 mins in line to check in is crazy. Need another person working. Rooms were spacious and well furnished however a few things are getting a bit worn. Rust all around the bottom of the shower units, marks and holes in walls, stains on kitchen benches and tables. The kitchen area was quite dirty. The oven and hot... Read more

I stayed here with a mate who had come down to Brisbane for a weekend, this is my second stay and my stay was faultless as was the last. The 2 bedroom apartment we booked was very spacious, large enough to accommodate a small family comfortably. There is ample space to move around between the entry foyer, kitchenette, lounge and outdoor/balcony area. The windows can be opened to allow fresh air rather than relying on air conditioning. We had a high floor room with views of the city and of ... Read more

Firstly, I never stay anywhere without free wifi by choice, but this was a work booking. 30 minutes free wifi for 24 hours for that price? You must be joking Oaks. Oh, and it's not per day, it's per 24 hours, so when I first logged on at 1130 PM on the day of arrival, I can't log on again until 1130 PM the next day! Pathetic. And then arriving late and having to provide a credit card imprint for a week-long stay immediately, especially when I work for a very large public organisation with a whol... Read more

My partner and I stayed here for a weekend getaway with friends. The hotel facilities were great we loved the 2 pools, spa and BBQ area. We were able to book the BBQ area for breakfast and cook our own food for us and our 6 other friends. We were on level 28 and had a great view of the city and the storm that was rolling in. There's only 2 things that we would class as bad. The overpowering smell of vomit and garbage in the hallway of our level was beyond disgusting! We honestly had to hold our ... Read more

We stayed here for one night as we had a function in the city. We had a 1 bedroom apartment on the 29th floor, with beautiful views over the river. The room had everything we could want, was lovely and clean, and the staff were very friendly. However, walking along the hallways to get to our room, the smell was terrible. It smelt like the back of a Chinese restaurant, very greasy smell, made us feel sick. Luckily we didn't spend too much time in the hallway, and it didn't penetrate our apartment... Read more

The email I sent - to which I had no response from. Good Morning, As I am a business owner I wanted to take the time to complain directly before reviewing you publicly. My partner and I were booked in on the weekend to stay at your oaks 211 property. We both travel separately and with our children often. When booking I noted that we are finally taking a break together and really looking forward to getting away and if possible could we have a river facing high floor room. On the Saturday of...
