Nice room with great service from staff. Very polite and very helpful. Room-service food was great and prompt for me as usually I am very tired after work and didn't want to go out for food. Hotel flooring cleanliness can be improved, found some fries left behind under bedside table. Thanks for the good stay.

Only stayed for 1 night for business but have already re-booked for my next 2 trips. I don't know why ive never stayed here before. Rooms are spotless, every thing you need and a good size. Hotel is co-located with the Pullman. As a Platinum member I had complimentary use of the Executive Lounge for b'fast. Service and facilities are immaculate with a small but more then adequate selection for a business b'fast. Location is good but parking is expensive even for Brisbane at $40/night.

Work arranged for a group of us to stay here on a Saturday night after a conference. We all had our booking confirmation numbers, ids etc. So check in should have been a breeze, yeah... Nope! Upon arriving to the hotel at 4:30pm to check in I was told there was a glitch in the system and that my room was not available. I wasn't given any info on when it would be made available and I had to ask them if they could call me when it was available. I am a patient person so I waited for a call but n... Read more

This hotel was booked for me as part of my work. It was certainly nice enough. The rooms were fairly spacious and the staff were friendly and very helpful. The restaurant downstairs was excellent, with a great selection of food and wine. Every meal I had was above average and the service was excellent. The hotel is very central and close to the shops and the river. The room was a little tired, however. There had clearly been another bed or larger bed in the room previously. There were large scra... Overall this was an excellent stay. However the wifi internet was terrible. The staff tried very hard to remedy the service with little effect, the staff kindly moved us rooms to try and overcome (we met other guests with the same issue). Food and drinks service was excellent with special menus for us as vegans.

The lobby was inviting, modern, clean and today - unfortunately when we got to our room it was the complete opposite. Rooms are tired, dated and felt like they hadn't been cleaned properly. Carpet looked dirty and hadn't been cleaned - guessing this is just due to wear and tear after many many years. Could do with an update especially the oversized cabinet/wardrobe in the room which takes up far too much space in an already small room. Room aside, customer service was fantastic and the hotel was... Read more

Great city-centre location, efficient service. The rooms are small, but so complete with accommodation needs, it's hard to believe they could squeeze so much in. Everything imaginable is compacted into a small space-even the clothes closet has an automatic light switch. The designers didn't miss a trick!. Bed was queen size, very comfortable and lots of pillows provided to prop yourself up and watch TV (if you had the time.)

This is one of the corporate hotels and we had no choice. The photos that others had posted on trip advisor are facts. There are worse ones , I checked in and found hair over my bath tub and on my bed. I did take photos however since I saw others have posted same I won't re-post again. The bathroom window had those glass stickers stuck on but they are not well maintained. The bin was broken and the toilet seats needs to be changed. There were quite a few long hair strands in the tub which I won... Read more

We stayed her overnight late May. The check-in procedure was smooth and the staff were lovely. The rooms were clean and well appointed. Breakfast in the morning was nice with a decent selection of hot and cold foods. The location to the Myer Centre shopping district was great. Wifi worked well. I must admit though, parking costs at $40 per night is very pricey! The most I have paid at any hotel. Overall, a nice stay, great hotel with great staff.

This Mercure is located perfect for shopping in queen st mall. Staff were excellent throughout stay. Restaurants and bar very good downstairs and shared with Pullman hotel. The rooms and decor are old and maintenance is lacking as in corridors light fittings have holes around it and showers areas mouldy, not bad stay but could have been great.

Although I've stayed multiple times for business in the excellent adjoining Pullman, this 2 night stay was my first in the Mercure rooms. With reception, dining, bar and pool shared between the 2 hotels, you get the high quality service as would be expected from a 5* hotel, while paying a 4* price. Although the room decor was a little dated, it was all in good condition, well laid out and very clean. Booked room for 3 adults and only 2 towels were in the room. Room overall appeared/felt grubby and the beds were uncomfortable.

We just wanted a reasonable priced hotel for our visit to watch the rugby. The hotel is conveniently located close to the bus for Suncorp Stadium. It was also convenient to the train station for arrival from the airport. The rooms were dated, but still very clean and comfortable. You got value for the money you paid for it. Bonus, having our morning coffee with the Sydney Swans footy team who had stayed there too

Go somewhere else. This was the worst service I've ever encountered. Try to ring the concierge - the phone rings out. After asking three times to have my bags bought to the room, they eventually arrived. This hotel is very average indeed. The foyer is very pleasant and modern as you walk in, but that is in stark contrast to the rooms themselves. The decor and fittings are a bit old and tired with average beds. However, the worst aspect of the hotel are the thin walls and doors.
