We had limited time in Alice Springs and chose this motel for its location and we had read other good reviews on Trip Advisor. It lived up to all our expectations and we will stay here again when we are next in Alice Springs. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the motel was within walking distance of all the shops we wanted to see, it was clean, it had onsite parking and it had great wifi.

Very poor internet connection. Tired of trying. Not bad for the price. Looking a little aged even with the improvements. Good parking and the swimming pool is ok but does management realise the shrubs out front are Castlewellans and will grow ten times their present size and completely dominate the road.

We wanted a centrally located stay in Alice Springs within walking distance of the railway station which is what we got, the staff were very friendly and helpful and it was great we could store our bags for later pick-up. The room was basic and a bit cramped but we really appreciated the tea and coffee making facilities, with the biscuits, as we found out that the restaurants nearby close at 9 pm. ( we ordered a meal at Uncles before 9 pm, waited for half an hour to be told ' the order was mispl... Read more

Spent three nights in a budget unit. Small but ok for what we needed Location was great right downtown Front staff pleasant. Parking adequate. Quiet. Good pool. Downfall was housekeeping. Never had a good clean any day. First day only took half our garbage and left all dirty towels. Next day left towels and dirty cups. And bed partly made. Had to ask after second day for service. Not much change

Stayed for two nights here slipped getting out of the shower one night as the tiles were not what you usually find in showers i.e.. non slip. I gashed my shin as I came down on the aluminium lip of the shower frame. When I took a look I noticed the shower frame was absolutely filthy with mould and slime on the bottom of the frame. I was very concerned about infection and asked to speak to the manager the next morning to point out both the unusually slippery floor and the filthy state of the show... Read more

Room 209 nice bathroom door does not close appears to jam at the bottom. Balcony sliding door pulls away from wall with little force was repaired but pulled away again not very secure, needs re installing. Friendly service & nicely set up though. Positive Suggestion for an accessible power point between the beds as I have sleep apnea & the closest point is on the other side of the room. The cord won't reach. Had to buy a power board for the extra length. Sleep apnea is becoming more prevelen... Read more

The FIRST thing reception said to us should have come in (rather than booking through Agoda) I would have made you a deal. thanks :-/ The room was WELL past its prime. We returned a week later, hoping for the promised walk-in rate. We're fully booked, you should have done so in advance. Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice, bad review.

As a stopover in the area this is a good option. Helpful and friendly staff, eating place nearby- I did not try the restaurant. The town of Alice Springs does not have a great deal to offer but what there is can be accessed easily from the Elkira.

We stayed in a twin family room which was comfortable, plenty of space and perfectly fine. The location is great for easy walking distance to the town centre. Would stay again when visiting Alice Springs

the hotel is situated slap bang in the middle of Alice Springs. We were in room 203 and were perfectly happy with the comfortable bed and a good nights sleep. the coffee and tea making facilities were an appreciated bonus. Everything was clean and plenty of hot water good toiletries and we enjoyed our breakfast. We spent an hour around the pool which we thought was extremely nice, however the best thing about this hotel is the extremely friendly and kind staff. we wouldn't consider staying in an... Read more

Well located a short walking distance from restaurants, shops and transport the Elkira Court Motel is conveniently located. Rooms are unpretentious but adequate. The motel includes a restaurant, Cycads, which serves breakfasts and dinners . Besides the convenient location the free wifi is a good attraction. Check in for our group of about a dozen was a bit chaotic eg no plastic card 'keys' had been programmed and there were errors in the booking eg for some people staying longer. There were si... I find it hard to fault this place. We chose to have group dinner at Cycards Restaurant (20 people) as well as stay in the motel for 4 days. We booked the King Spa Room, allthough the room needed a update in decore we found the room to suit our needs, great central heating, spacious, big spa and most importantly the bed was comfortable. The restaurant staff bent over backwards to accomodate our large group and the meals were supurb, in fact many of our guests commented of the delicious food. We ... Read more

The motel is pretty average for the prices they charge. The walls between rooms are very thin so you can hear everything from the neighbouring rooms. The bathroom was dated and the linen and towels also need replacing. There is an in house restaurant but we didn't try their food.

This motel is well positioned just on the outskirts of the centre, near the reptile house. The rooms by the pool are small but perfectly adequate for a short stay and quieter than the larger ones on the road side

We stayed in the Queen Deluxe room, it has had a makeover of sorts but on a low budget, it was more like an incomplete job, expense was spared. We would be less critical if the room was more like $120 (which was all it was worth) instead of the $145 we paid. The room was useable & comfortable enough but a micro wave oven would have been appreciated. The room was reasonably clean but no attention to detail. The website promised views of the McDonnell Ranges, that was true, we saw a tiny bit, but ... Read more

So me and 2 friends booked a night here recently & as for location & price you cannot go wrong. Ideal for anyone's first time in Alice - practically central. We had a 'queen deluxe room' - honestly there wasn't anything 'deluxe' about the room - saying that it was horrendous, it was clean and stayable just not 'deluxe' - I'd happily stay here again though & would recommend it.

I stayed for two nights, before and after my 3 days Uluru camping trip. The receptionist is nice and willing to help me booking the airport shuttle. However, the room is a very countryside style, and the room is a bit dim and sound proof is not very ideal. I had an unpleasant experience - a pair of smelly socks underneath the sink in the toilet. It was so smelly which I discovered it when I opened the cabinet under the sink and I asked the staff to take it out immediately. I only recommend the h... Read more

We spent 2 nights at Elkira Court in Alice Springs after our trip to Uluru. The room at Elkira Court was sooo welcome after Uluru! Big and clean with all the comforts. WiFi was good. Location was walking distance to restaurants, entertainment, Reptile Centre, river walk/botanic garden. Outside appearance of the motel was a bit seedy/dated and the cleaning products smell was overwhelming upon room entry. But once we got used to that (and the garish bright white fluorescent color light bulbs in th... Read more

This is a very centrally placed motel, close to the Todd Mall and all major shops. We had a room for the 3 of us. The beds were clean and comfy. All pillows on both beds were like slices of bread! Why can't places provide proper pillows?! The shower and toilet were clean. The facilities are a bit dated / worn and need a bit of TLC, the wardrobe door was broken from its hinge. We had an upstairs room that faced out onto Bath Street across the road from KMart, it was very noisy (traffic/paedestri... Read more

We only staid one night in the motel, so our expirence are limited. But as we entered the room one thing was totally cleare. This hotel have seen the best days. It wasn't clean and some parts of the furniture were a bit demanged. I wouldn't recommend this motel to my friends, but in case you have to stay one night there you will survive it.

We did a couple of overnight stays here when doing camping trips in the East and West MacDonnell Ranges out of Alice. We had a Queen deluxe room which was pretty good and very clean. Bathrooms have been upgraded, beds excellent and large room. We were on ground floor (111) which was next to back car park and ideal for getting stuff in and out of car. Washing & drying facilities with clothesline available. Restaurant was ok but the 'big' breakfast is big! Close to all town shopping - like 1 block... Read more

I have stayed here several times when I've travelled to Alice Springs. It's right in the middle of town and is clean and comfortable. The staff are very nice and friendly. The food is excellent. Last time I was here I got the Lamb Rack with mash and veg and had it brought to my room with a peanut butter sundae for desert. Top notch food. This place is always my pick when I travel to Alice.

We stayed 4 nights on 3 separate occasions in September, during which we stayed in both deluxe and budget queen rooms. We found it a great Alice Springs base, in an excellent location in downtown. K-mart is across the road, the big Coles and Woolworths supermarkets 4-5mins walk up the road, and it is an easy walk to anywhere else in the centre of Alice or to various car hire companies. Reception staff were very welcoming and helpful and the manager attended to a malfunctioning light globe immed... Read more

For the amount of money they are charging for thier rooms they are not worth it. The hotel itself is quite an old buliding and has been repainted and poorly refurbished a few times and it shows. I got everything tou would expect from a very average hotel, noisy airconditioner that was frozen over every morning, 'security' lighting right outside my window so that it illuminates the whole room when all the lights are off, matress that i guess was about 10 years old, super limited choice of buffet ...
