I've managed serviced accomodation venues in the past so I know a thing or two about hospitality and good service - I was totally impressed by the effort of the staff to make my stay the best it could possibly be. Nothing was too much trouble, everything was done with a smile and genuine interest in a positive outcome and good experience for their guests. Every interaction made me feel like I was the most important and most special person within 100 miles.

The hotel is nicely situated 1 block from the main street, from the lagoon and from the Greyhound stop. The room and bathroom are spacious, clean and bed is comfortable. The pool was a little disappointing, as it was small and in the shade all day. The staff was professional and able to accomodate my luggage during my trip to Whitsundays. Overall, the hotel doesn't have much personality, but was very convenient for a stop over in Airlie

It's actually quite difficult to rate this hotel fairly. The location is first class, within very easy walking distance of departure points for many of the day trips. My superior room was very big and the bed comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful. BUT the place is aging. My first room smelled of stale cigarette smoke. There was no hot water my first night and no water at all the following night when I returned from a long day out. The shower "door" has been fitted right in the middl... Read more

Only spent one night, but it was in the middle of a refurb. Thank goodness we didn't stay longer. The aroma of fresh paint was everywhere and being woken by tradesmen scraping down walls was anoying. Maybe closing parts off with no guests while refurb happens may have been better. Hope end result is worth it.

I stayed here for a total of 3 nights and I absolutely wish I could have stayed longer. The reception crew were absolutely lovely and kind, the rooms were in perfect condition and the beds super comfy. This hotel has the most sensational location being located right on the main strip at Airlie Beach. Because there is so much to do we didn't really spend a lot of time in the hotel. The hotel itself needs an upgrade its dated. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are a reasonable size. Overall I would stay here again.

Stayed here for four nights. Very close to the ferry terminal, city centre and eateries. The hotel is located across the road from the beach. Pool was small and very warm. Not enough sun beds though. The hotel is fairly quiet. We were located on the mountain side of the hotel. The room had a small balcony but staying on the beach side would have been preferable but they were booked out. Room was great with fantastic views, staff were great, food, cocktails etcetera. Everyone very friendly. Even when it rained you could sit outside in the bar area or eating area. Stayed multiple trips now - always comfortable and clean - in perfect central location. Love waking up early in a seaview room - curtains and windows wide open so enjoy the lapping of the waves and birds singing to wake up to. Love being about to charge back to the room from the restaurants and bar on the ground level. Safe secure parking only negative - don't like the fact that the cigarette smoke from neighbouring balconies waft into our room if doors open.

The room itself was reasonably good but the advice that we would have to incur the cost of emergency service call out if we left the door to the bathroom open and steam escaped, thus triggering the smoke alarm was very disappointing. Airlie beach is quite pricey for what it offers accom wise. We stayed here late Oct 2016. We were more than happy with the price for a motel room set up with what we got.
