The view from our 16th floor room was spectacular, right to Glenelg Beach and the Southern Ocean. This centrally located hotel is situated across the road from the tram stop to Glenelg, a pleasant 20-minute ride away. Access to the Executive Lounge was an extra privilege, with its canapes and drinks bar, and good service. While the room was a little small, it had all the facilities expected of a first-class hotel.

As expected a great Hilton experience here - stay for business on every trip, great rooms, good location, good staff. Nice bar in foyer and great morning coffee on the way out to work. The rooms are also spacious compared to other Hilton's (eg Sydney)

As a Hilton Diamond member I was expecting the quality of a Hilton, and I got mostly that. The room was clean and tidy; the hotel staff very helpful. However as it was very winy with a low moving across Adelaide the south facing room had whistling windows. This made it very difficult to sleep. I know I wasn't alone, as other guests complained about the same thing. I can't fault the accommodation or reception staff as they were nice.

* We looked forward to our first stay as a family at the Adelaide Hilton and cannot recommend it highly enough. The booking system was a little over the top and resulted in a glitch at reception. Fortunately though, we encountered a customer service STAR in Shannon who addressed our issue smoothly, professionally and very much to our satisfaction. This was followed up the next day by a lovely birthday card and gift to our daughter who was with us. Shannon, you made a significant difference to ou... Read more

Carpet and walls look old but still clean. Bed and Bathroom very clean. Car valet service did not meet my expectations. Room service very good. Will stay there again when I am in Adelaide. Breakfast very good but juices were not fresh. Internet speed super fast. Recommend city view room. I give this hotel 4.5 stars easily.

Our tgird time in Adelaide ... this time without the kids. The Hilton was situated in a great location, as we needed to go the Adelaide hills for a 40th during the day and out in the city for dinner that night. The bonus was a free room upgrade - which was surprising... but delightful - we took that of course. It made for an overall relaxed experience visiting Adelaide this time.

We first stayed at the Adelaide Hilton a few years after it was completed. Back then it was the newest and for most aspects best hotel in the city. 30 years is a long time between visits when we recently renewed our acquaintance. Stepping into the lobby was like going back in time - the foyer looks just as it did in the 1980's. There have been a few cosmetic changes but overall a nicely functional area. Reception staff were helpful and we had no issues with the booking (now via internet whic... Read more

Stayed here for 3 nights and each night I felt welcome. As a diamond member I really felt that they appreciated my loyalty, which is increasing hard to find at other Hiltons, except Melbourne Southbank. The rooms are reasonable and while a little tired, still good, clean and quiet. The executive lounge is spacious and the staff just fantastic. I'm not a big fan of the Hilton chain. There, I've said it. Read on with that in mind. I spent two weekend nights (Friday and Saturday) on a family visit with my partner at the Hilton on Victoria Square in the centre of Adelaide, South Australia. This hotel has resonances for me. When I lived in Adelaide, its arrival in the early 80's (I think) meant that my home town had made it in the sophistication stakes. Not only did we have Australia's pre-eminent cultural festival, but now the internati... Read more

Great hotel - always is with the Hilton. The location is what sold us, and also the value for money. Would highly recommend to anyone travelling to Adelaide. The only thing we would suggest is that there were additional blankets due to the temperature at our time of stay (winter) and we weren't big on the heating option.

My wife and I recently stayed at the Hilton Adelaide for four nights to celebrate a 50th birthday. We were very well looked after by the hotel and enjoyed the experience immensely. The Hilton while it lives up to it's 5 star rating, we found that it does fall down on providing that personal touch. We were another couple amongst a sea of people.

This is the second time I've stayed at the Hilton. The first time was 5 years ago and then as now i was visiting Adelaide for medical purposes. Timing prevented me from enjoying the meals there. I fully intend to have one of their buffet breakfasts sometime, but no opportunity this time, just hospital scrambled egg. Stayed on the executive floor for 5 nights, for my girlfriends birthday. The executive lounge was good, I always recommend paying extra to stay on an executive floor, there good value if you enjoy a drink and canapés in the evening + you always stay on a high level to. You also have the option of having breakfast in the lounge. The hotel itself was good no complaints. Location I thought was great tram and taxis at your front door, and plenty of great restaurants nearby.

Decent service and plenty of bling in the lobby - fortunately the rooms aren't so bling but a well designed with a decent aesthetic. Typical of this type of hotel though is the dreaded cheap-as to remote and the low def or standard def tv. I certainly enjoy pressing the channel change button 5 times for each channel change which is pretty standard fare f... Read more

Stayed here many years ago when Holden was manufacturing 700+ vehicles a day on 3 shifts so hotel was very busy then. I have to say I was surprised how busy it still was. Executive Lounge full, downstairs lobby bar and restaurant busy. It is what you come to expect from the Hilton chain. Rooms are getting dated and in need of an upgrade. Had a junior suite and have to say for $400 a very high price to pay for what you get. Yes a large room but dated. Restaurant very nice and enjoyable. Wou... Read more

The Adelaide Hilton delivers on expectations of the Hilton chain, service is prompt and friendly, there are some great in house bars and the rooms are comfortable and as expected. The Adelaide Hilton is well situated on the edge of the CBD and walking distance to most Corporate locations. Is is also just around the corner from Gouger Street probably Adelaide's premier restaurant boulevard.

My wife and me, spend one night in the hotel and normally we stick with one hotel in the city, this time I would like to try others. I don't think this is top offer from Hilton. Staff was great, but there was something... I was to tired after driving all day from Melbourne. Bell Boy was a joke. Valet Parking Service was great.

Have been staying here for a couple of years now, great hotel, location and facilities. What makes it great however are the people, the greeting at the door as you leave the cab or car, the check in, service etc etc. Also often get a really good rate that is by far the best in the city. I have stayed on more expensive hotels in the city and the experience is never as good or simple.

Recently stayed at the Hilton for a 3 day work trip. Great facilities, comfortable bed, friendly staff (especially concierge), good wifi, delicious buffet breakfast, etc. Bar prices were a bit expensive, but there are a few pubs close by. Worth the stay.

Combined with a show at her Majesty's Theatre, a great stay at this hotel. Everything was clean, and most staff (apart from lobby lounge bar) were friendly and helpful. Room was fantastic, and as we had Executive Lounge privileges had drinks and breakfast here. Great value and friendly helpful staff.

We stayed here for a conference. The hotel is very central right opposite Victoria square, close to the markets and China town restaurant strip. Also only a 5 minute walk to the main shopping area. The hotel has a nice foyer and bar area, modern sleek decor with modern wood panels and modern lighting. The staff are helpful and friendly. The room wasn't available on arrival which was to be expected at around 10am however I was offered a room early with a $35 early check in fee. The room its... Read more

Well located with all the bells and whistles of an upmarket hotel that you would expect. Breakfast was great - egg station and a juice bar were fab. There was a let down with my room service dinner - I ordered the salmon and it was way over cooked and dry. Like it had been sitting around for a while and then reheated. You expect more from a restaurant room service from a top end hotel. Loved though that I could order from an excellent selection oflocal SA wines by the glass!

I offered a chance to "choose your room" online, be aware that there will be a surcharge/upgrade fee for this, most likely. On the other hand, breakfast is included. NEITHER of these things is clearly stated in any information that I got.

Nice hotel in the center of Adelaide cbd. The staff were all great and helpful. The buffet breakfast had a great selection and was good quality. We were upgraded to a king room plus on check in without asking which was a nice touch. The king size bed was very comfortable. We will stay here again on the next trip to Adelaide.

Spent 2 nights at the Adelaide Hilton (Saturday and Sunday) in an Executive Room. As we landed in Adelaide at 1300 and were in no hurry and had little luggage we caught the local bus from the airport $5.30 each - this drops you at King William St from where it is a short 3 block walk to the hotel. We still arrived early but the front desk were happy to be able to check us in. Were given a room on the 18th floor looking southish over the markets, towards the airport and the ocean (no plane noi... Read more

This is up to the Hilton standard around the country. Although the hotel decor is a little dated, the buffet and service at breakfast was fantastic and the room was clean and well equipped, with everything working. Good central location near to most things. To find decent running routes, head North, West or South, and you'll find the green park zone that surrounds Adelaide CBD. If you want to run away from the roads, then I'd recommend heading north 1km, because once you find the river you can t... Read more

Most Hiltons are pretty much the same and the Hilton Adelaide is no different in this regard. With that said I was very impressed with their main Resturant, COAL and the excellent staff who were friendly and accommodating. The main bar can be a frustrating place to get served in the early evening. I actually gave up on a few occasions it was so slow. There is another bar called Collins overlooking the street which is good fun and a better bet. As a tip ask for the a room overlooking Victor... Read more

Hilton Adelaide represents for sure one of the best choices for hotels in Adelaide. The hotel is centrally located and well connected also with public transportations. I enjoyed a few nights in the hotel and appreciated the silence and comfort of the rooms. Bedroom is standard-size, bathroom is nice but strangely designed: you end up in covering the floor with many drops of water every time you take a shower. I had also to steal one glass of water from the mini-bar to find a place for the shavi... Read more

Chose to return to the Hilton Adelaide for its excellent service, overall quality. Just one night this time with my wife as we visited Adelaide from Sydney. The breakfast was what you should expect in a 5 start hotel.. eggs made any way you like and delivered to your table. The foyer in the evening has a nice ambience as couples and groups enjoy their evening.

Sounds that one needs to be wealthy to stay in Hilton Hotel. If you can book in advance then this is an affordable status hotel centrally located and near to most Adelaide attractions. Advice - don't check in late! I was told the hotel was 'booked out' and that the only room available was on level 3. No issue! Level 3 is a SMOKING FLOOR - what!!! Ended up paying extra to secure one of the last executive rooms which was a dream - super comfy bed and great pillows. Well located and clean hotel overall. Staff could have been a little more helpful but I got there in the end :)

I was tossing up between many of the 4.5 & 5 star hotels in radelaide for my partner's birthday. I am very happy I chose to stay at the Hilton. A complimentary upgrade was appreciated as was the exemplary service of the staff in facilitating the storage and presentation of a birthday cake. The staff were great, the location is A1, the facilities and room just beautiful. Stop looking at the other hotels, book this one.

We were very pleased with our stay at the Hilton. The exterior approach worried us but once inside it was pure Hilton. As expected the reception was excellent and we went through the formalities very quickly. The Staff obviously wanted to help. Our meals were excellent and our rooms were neat. We were very tired and the bed was the epitome of comfort. As with our reception leaving was also a breeze and again the staff were most obliging.

We stayed at this hotel twice on our recent revisit to Southern AU. The hotel is located in front of Victoria Square which was the old hub of the city until the area around TCE, train station, convention center, river walk, museums, and campuses became the prime areas to secure lodging. With TCE being five minutes away by the free tram that stops right in front of the hotel, this location is prefect for us. What a very average afternoon this was. Other teas I've been to were very special events with lots of bone china & floral decorations. This one was plain old white hotel crockery. The food itself was ok but not what you would expect from the Hilton.
