Great for the central location but their service and facilities or lack there of let them down. The checkin boy did not explain that we need to use their swipe to utilise the parking - so what should have taken 5 mins took 45 mins - not impressed after driving 7 hours. They charged a credit card surcharge when we asked for savings and the sauna was broken the whole time we were here . The bed was comfy but the tv was in the lounge room with a small two seater which wasn't comfortable. This place... Read more

As always with Adina it was a clean spaciouse place to stay. Not far to shopping on mall, short walk to markets. An enjoyable stroll to botanic gardens and the zoo. The pool and spa were amazing, having hot showers and change rooms next to it was a bonus. The old treasury building was a beautiful place for a hotel. The staff were polite and always willing to help, will cirtainly be staying there again on our next stay in Adelaide. My only complaint was not having enough time to enjoy all it has ... Read more

Our family booked 3 apartments and each one was well designed and beautifully decorated. Beds were comfy and the heating worked well. The staff were very friendly and go out of their way to be of service to you. We had breakfast on the Sunday which was delicious, although more expensive than our Saturday breakfast out in the city centre. A great location and within walking distance to the City centre. Would most definitely return when next in Adelaide.

I was expecting great things but was very disappointed. Having an indoor pool was a major feature that I looked forward to using. Unfortunately the pool temp was not warm enough to have a pleasant swim. I am not expecting it to be hot - that would also be unpleasant. But at least at a temp that can sustain a leisurely swim instead of a quick dip because it rapidly gets too cold to stay in it. The restaurant and room service were also not available. Lovely building hopeless aircon - despite the dial saying it was on all that worked was the fan - it all meant for a hopeless sleep. Management did not seem interested when on check out I said it was terrible - they just processed check out as if what I said needed no follow up. I have stayed there many times and aircon has been a hit or miss affair.

We were in Adelaide for the weekend & had never been to South Australia before. We were really pleased with the central location of The Adina. The room we had was beautiful & very comfortable / clean. We had a hire car & parking was a little bit of a walk, but for $14 a day was fine (compared to some very expensive parking we have had in Melbourne or Sydney! Overall is was a great experience & if we ever visit Adelaide again I would definitely stay here.

1. Rates are excessive. 2. Whatever you do, under no conditions hire ore bring your own car. Parking is in public car park a quarter of a km away. And on the 6th floor. And during the day you might be hunting for parking as there are limited places reserved. Furthermore the cost of parking is an additional $14 per day. That is over and above the a Tuesday rate of $320 and a Wednesday rate of $344. Horrific, 3. As for the restaurant, no one could wreck a steak like the restaurant at Adina. 4. Fa... Read more

All my comments are contained in my report to the Manager. It may be just Room number 24 but they can not be serious believing they are barging a fair and competitive tariff when the room was so poor to stay in that it would not rate more than a three star country 1960's type motel. Suggest you avoid this property at all costs even if you fancy the romanticism of an old Government relic being converted into a modern City Hotel with high star ranking. Management must be dreaming.
