I just got back May 28, 2016 from my first trip to Aruba and it was amazing. It is a beautiful island that we explored from end to end. I went with a timeshare owner and two other friends. We overlooked the pool at The Divi Aruba Phoenix on the seventh floor and had a spectacular view. Our bartender Jude was excellent, very attentive and gave us important information about the island. I had an amazing massage by MaryLou at the spa. The resort is in the perfect location being able to walk the bo... Read more

The room was very nice, but the view was amazing. The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful. Shout out to the housekeeping staff. Our room was kept in tight order :-) The only drawback was one or both elevators in Tower 1 (we stayed on top floor, #14) was constantly out. That's a long walk...sigh!

So, my husband & I got back June 6th, and we came back disappointed. Aruba overall is an amazing place, will definitely go back to visit just wouldn't stay at this resort. We checked in, everything was quick, we get to our room and of course would want to put our passports away, but the room didn't have a safe box. We ask for a room change but they said they didn't have anything available so cool we keep our passports & valuables hidden. A few days in were traveling around buying souvenirs and j... Read more

Got the package from Expedia. Picked up from the airport by De Palm Island Tours. Round trip tix cost from airport to Divi Phoenix is $62/person. The place is beautiful and laid back. Stayed for 6 days. Our room is on the second floor, facing the swimming pool. It's one BR with 2 full baths, a jacuzzi, kitchen with washer dryer combo. The kitchen was furnished with needed utensils. It also has a sofa bed. Well maintained grounds and there's always someone picking up leaves/dirt in the pool. The ... Read more

The view from the balcony was the best you could ask for. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again. Special thanks to the staff for helping me recover my lost Iphone. We stayed in a penthouse suite 3 bdr 3 bathrooms (with 2 sofabeds too) June 26th through July 2nd. Resort is beautiful and the grounds are very well maintained. We booked through RCI last Sept and booked a 2 bedroom with oceanfront. When we arrived to check in (a $25 cab ride from the airport), the guy at the desk said they didn't have any 2 bedroom oceanfront rooms which is what we reserved. We have stayed in a 2 bedroom unit and a 1 bedroom unit and loved them both. We were recently in the 2 BR with another couple, and it was great. Each bedroom had its own little patio, and we were literally on the beach (ground floor). The views from the living room were so perfectly tropical- the palm trees, palapas and of course, the Caribbean Sea!! The 2nd elevator broke and we had to climb 12 flights! ugh... At least they fixed it quickly but the other one was still out of order and waiting for parts so it was pretty slow going up and down on the elevator with many guests @ the resort including the poor bellboys, the cleaning ladies, etc. In one elevator. Aruba is well known for its weather. Great sunshine and awesome breezes, restaurants we visited were very good with average prices. Divi Phoenix is very nice resort, staff is mostly on friendly and accomodating side. Little disappointed when I booked it through 3rd party website i requested king size bed but had a room with small queen size bed. But room was clean and good service everyday.

Nice rooms, great pools, and kiddie pool for the little ones. Staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. No complaints about the resort, we were treated very well. The Divi Phoenix caters to families and couples. They have entertainment several nights a week, three restaurants, several pools and a nice beach. We wanted for nothing while we stayed here. We did walk the boardwalk to the strip of shops and restaurants several times. It is a hike and easy if your in good shape.

First I want to say that the resort has a beautiful beach and pool, probably the best I saw on the entire island. However -- I was very disappointed in the staff and room air conditioner. I was so uncomfortable and couldn't sleep on many nights because the cold air would not blow into the bedroom. It would only blow into the living room area. When I called to complain and to switch rooms, no one offered an apology and no one allowed me to switch rooms. I stayed in a one bedroom suite in the mai... Read more

Have been going to the Divi Phoenix a total of four years and each year it gets better and better. Check in is a breeze and use of the room credit card great. Their two restaurants Pure Beach and Pure Ocean serve great well prepared food. I like the fact that I can spend the morning at the beach then lunch at Pure Beach without having to change from beach apparel. If you make a stop at the supermarket, then you can prepare and serve any meals in you room thanks to the fully equipped kitchen.

Had a great time. Friendly and helpfully staff. Front desk staff were great. All the amenities that we needed. Will definitely return, hopefully soon. Great food at Gianni's and Amore Mio"s. Beautiful shops and restaurants on the strip. Natural pool was something to see.

Came to the island for the first time after recommendations from another family. Booked a 2 bedroom through RCI exchange (we are Hilton Grand Vacation owners). We booked a 2 bedroom villa but ended up with a 1 bedroom and studio lock-out. When I asked for the 2 bedroom, she said that was all they had. It worked out fine as my 2 kids felt like they had their own apartment. There had been a large amount of rain on the day we arrived which caused flooding of streets and houses, we were not eff... This is actually a time share not a hotel. All facilities are closed before 11pm. They have limited bar/restaurant hours. The rooms we had 822 and 922 smelled really bad... musty, moldey and the view was none. Looked into a palm tree and the building across from the pool. We asked to be moved and for 3 days were given the run around about being full. It was not busy so I know that is not true - but they can't rent out the time share rooms. Was offered an upgrade for another $1,000 !! They don't... Read more

This is our home resort, so we stayed in our unit, on our week. It was a 2 bedroom, 2 bath in the villas, or low rise section of the resort. We stayed an additional day in the high rise in a 2 story 3 bedroom. I liked our 2 bedroom better. Felt like I was right on the beach and the pool. The weather was great and everyone at the resort was super friendly. The ocean was perfect and the pools were great as well.

We stayed in the beach tower one bedroom suite. It was spacious- bedroom, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, dining area and living room. We loved the room! Our only issue was the the mattress and pillows could be better. Resort was in a great location- on the southern end of Palm Beach. The pool and beach areas were nice. If you rent a car, there is plenty of free parking. There are 2 restaurants- Pure Ocean and Pure Beach. My boyfriend went to Pure Ocean for breakfast one morning. The food was fair and the... First time to Aruba. It is very beautiful but be advised that most people come here to sit on the beach or by the pool and chill, every day. A little too boring for me. I don't mind relaxing by the beach/pool but I can't do it 7 days in a row and most people stay here for weeks. Thank God were met David with De Palm Tours in the main lobby. He recommended things for us to do and we had a blast on the Off Road Safaris to the Natural Pool Adventure. He was also extremely informative on the loca... Read more

We had an amazing trip at this resort! It's gorgeous! We loved that it's small enough it's not crowded the beaches and pools were not crowded at all. It was so nice to be able to enjoy our trip without over crowding. It's close to downtowns and about 20 mins from airport. We rented a jeep and it was a easy drive. We plan to come back in March and stay here we enjoyed it that much. The restaurants are also amazing but very slow weight staff. Also, every restaurant in Aruba adds 15% service charge... Read more

Right on the beach, friendly staff, clean and just far enough away from the mega hotels to be relaxing. Limited restaurants on property, but many others within reasonable walking distance or via cab or bus with direct pick up right in front of the hotel.
