The Renaissance Aruba Resort has two sections: The Marina Hotel section which is Adult-exclusive(18+) and the Ocean Suites which are ideal for families. The Renaissance Marina Hotel offers a hip and trendy adult-exclusive option and the Renaissance Ocean Suites perfect for that family vacation.

The all new Renaissance Aruba Resort and Casino features 558 newly renovated rooms and suites and the finest amenities and activities on Aruba. Two distinctive lodging options at this Aruba hotel offer both style and a tropical elegance. Both Aruba resort options have pools or you can enjoy the 40 acres of private beach on Renaissance Island, which features inviting hammocks, a casual restaurant and bar, and many sporting activities.

For a special treat, book a massage at our exclusive Spa Cove on the Island. Spa Cove includes a private cabana with 2-person lounge chair and 2-person hammock. ****NOTICE: In an effort to provide you with the best service and amenities, all 297 guest rooms at the adult-exclusive Renaissance Marina Hotel only will be renovated and upgraded. The rooms redo will start on April 6, 2013 and is anticipated to be completed by the end of October, 2013. All one-bedroom suites at the Renaissance Ocean Suites will be renovated the year after, starting April 2014. Room renovations will be ongoing, 7 days a week, one floor at a time. The Resort Management team will make every effort to keep noise levels at a minimum. All noise-related work will be done during day between 10am and 6pm. The renovations at the Renaissance Marina Hotel will not be visible to hotel guests because of keeping all work confined to one floor at a time. The floor will be completely closed off during the time of redo.

"The Renaissance Aruba is an incredible resort. The staff is friendly, the rooms are beautiful (at least the ocean side suites...can't say the same about the adults only section), and the private island makes you feel liked you died and went to heaven. My husband & I went to Aruba for our honeymoon this year and this resort was the perfect place to stay at. Its located about 10 minutes away from all the high rise hotels (Riu, Holiday Inn, Radisson) but close to all the high end shopping. We had the all-inclusive plan so all drinks, food,etc...was included. Definetely would recommend doing that so all you have to worry about is carrying your room key. Casino was ehhh...mainly slots (husband was not impressed pretty much to be expected of the caribbean). Breakfast at the Atlantis was great, Breakfast at Captain's Corner is gross (birds are EVERYWHERE). We had lunch at Sole (could eat while still in the pool) and Papagayo Bar (waiters brought food to you while still on the beach staring at the flamingos) both were delicious. We had dinner everynight at L.G. Smith Steakhouse...it was absolutely delicious and staff was incredibly friendly...not really necessary to try anywhere else because the food was so good. Overall this place is great...def. would stay here again."

"Yes Aruba is 'One Happy Island' however the Renaisssance Aruba needs a little TLC. My daughter and I needed to switch to three different rooms due to mold problems, so bad my eyes swelled in a matter of minutes. Once we settled in which wasted 3 hours of our day we finally made it to the pool. The pool is nice but has limited lounge chairs. Food selections were great between buffet and a la carte you were't limited. Water taxi to the Renaissance beach was nice.
They have 2 beaches Adult, you couldn't go in the water to much crushed coral really hurt your feet. The Family side was great it had a resturant and bar,the water base was all sand. My overall eperience was good. Would I return to the Renaissance, NO.........."

"Our vacation to Aruba - Renaissance Aruba Resort and Casino went off without a hitch. We stayed at the Family Suites because of the views and the larger rooms and we were glad we did. The adult side was nice but didn't feel like an island vacation at all. The all-inclusive package should be a must-do because of the prices the restaurants charge along with the drink charges. The room was clean and the room was cleaned every day. The staff at the hotel was very cordial and helped tremendously except for the person at the De Palm Tours desk in the hotel lobby. The company needs to re-evaluate their employees and how they treat paying guests/tourists. This person was not a Renaissance employee but a DePalm Tours employee and needs to remember that without us tourists and paying guests, she would not have a job. The hotel grounds were kept up well and everyone was very friendly and helpful. The hotel definitely needs to be remodeled especially the bathrooms, but they were clean and served their purpose. The boat to the island came every 10-15 minutes and the ride was a blast. Don't miss the feeding of the sand crabs, flamingoes and iguanas on the island. One other thing -- make sure you have a hairstyle that doesn't mind being windswept and messy due to the winds in Aruba. I don't think I have one picture where my hair isn't blown every which way. Overall, a great vacation."

"This was my honeymoon trip and I enjoyed every minute of it. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There are enough restaurants to eat at a different one every night if you want to. We did the all inclusive but upgraded to the Renaissance Ocean suites which is the timeshare side for an additional $200.00 but it was well worth it. Shopping, casino, gift shops, beaches, tours, everything is right in walking distance or either the transportation picks you up form your resort. Well worth the money. Go and enjoy the island of Aruba signed the newlywedd =)"

"My wife and I booked this about a month prior to leaving...it couldn't have been any better. First off the private island is absolutely gorgeous. Its peaceful, quiet, and serene. Its cool that flamingos and iguanas are all around you. The staff here are excellent. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Even though it was very hot at times, the staff always kept a friendly smile. I would recommend this trip to anyone. It is definitely worth it, and the all-inclusive feature made it very affordable to go."

"We went this past week, march 2012 and loved every moment. The hotel was beautiful , staff was friendly , looooooooved the private island. This hotel is in the heart of the capital, not down by the high rise resorts. If ur looking for top notch luxury book them. This hotel was just what we were looking for. Great snorkeling unlike the high rise hotels, so no need for excursions to do it. Plenty of night life. Palm beach was a cheap bus or taxi away. The restaurants were great, we did the all inclusive adults only hotel and loved it. Worth evety penny. Yes u can hear planes from the island but it would not keep me coming back to this hotel. The rooms were standard .very clean. We only needed a room to sleep in not to spend time in so all these bad reviews like I said belong in a high rise hotel in palm beach. Will def be returning."

"This resort was disappointing..all inclusive didi not offer alot..tikki bar..outdoor buffet..open lobby..no aircondition..lobby staff soso..pool workers n outside staffers..not a smile or good am greeting,,although..there was a little change towards the end of my stay.due to a disbute with the tikki bar bartender..after giving feedback to mgt who claimed he has meeting with staff every morning.there was a change..couple of more smiles an greetings..there was a hand full of very nice employees that really truly seem to care..the private island again had a few good people..but far in between..l.g. resturant was fantastic..the staff outstanding..although i went to rest..which i did...iguanas and flamingos were the best..enjoyed feeding them..they were full of character.."
