Very nice week in Aruba. Resort is clean and well taken care of daily. Nicely appointed Studio room with ice cold AC and great hot showers. Resort is VERY laid back and relaxing. Not a party place but we didn't want that this time anyhow. Eagle beach is beautiful with lots of palapa's to shade under. I have read the negative reviews but that was not our experience. We would go back.

After 3 weeks we still did not want to leave and we are already dreaming about next year! We arrived at the Divi Village on Sunday, April 24th for our 3 weeks and just got home last night, I heard a lot about the water issues that took place in February but I am glad to report that everything has been taken care of and no issues remain. We had a seamless check in and it did not take us long to totally wind down for a long and stressful year. We had a few issues with our unit that were quickly... Read more

My husband and I stayed at Divi Village Golf and Beach Resort last month. It was our first time staying at the property. We both agree it was absolutely ideal. We had a great room with a beautiful view of the 9th hole of the golf course. The accommodations were pleasant and the staff were friendly, accommodating and professional. The location of the property is ideal: quite and removed from the hustle and bustle of downtown and the over-crowded area of the high rise hotels. The amenities ... Read more

Divi Village is located in what they call the "lowrise" area of Aruba. It is a wonderful resort with many activities and great pools. The ocean is right across a very quiet little street with beautiful beaches and there are many great restaurants on the property.

I stayed for 4 days at this Divi location. This is not the first time I have stayed at a Divi Resort but they keep missing the mark. Aruba has an inane sensibility that makes them genuinely friendly people that dates back tho the original Arawak Indians. This resort just wasn't on par with the staff and attention to detail that is usually at the other resorts. Do I think it is a nice resort? Yes. I just think that they miss that extra one or two steps from check in on... Divi Village Suites are ... Read more

We stayed at the Divi Golf from June 12 to June 17, 2016 and had a fabulous time. We were a family of six (3 seniors, 2 adults, 1 finicky teenager) and everyone came home raving about the resort. As background, we travel with 6-13 family members each time and several times a year, and usually stay in 4/5 star all-inclusive resorts. Check-in was smooth and effortless, no issues. Our rooms were ready when we arrived, and we were given a 3 floor condo with a rooftop Jacuzzi/bbq/lounge area. T... Read more

We stayed three nights at the resort. The room was very nice, clean and spacious. Very UPSET about the beach. The waves and undertow were POWERFUL, which knocked me down when I was standing at the EDGE. There were tons of rocks, so when the waves receded all the rocks hit my feet and I fell on the rocks (very painful) while another wave crashed on me It took me a while to get up without being pulled in again. It was NEGLIGENT of the resort not to put up warning signs about the waves, undertow... Read more

When we arrived in Aruba- the Palm tours bus took us to Divi- they were on time, efficient and great. at the Divi golf & beach resort, the front desk concierge, I think her name was Cristella- was fantastic! She reassured us we had a great room and good view. Their friendly shuttle took us right to our room which was located 1 flight up and had a Jacuzzi on the roof! Traveled with a family of 4. Kids 4 and 8. Check-in was quick. Our room was not ready so we were given a buzzer for when it was. Within 20 minutes our room was ready. I took the advice of other travelers and asked for an upgrade but they advised none was available. I found that hard to believe. We got to our first floor room and was not happy. Went to front desk and asked for a different room. After 10 minutes of waiting, was switched to a different building on the second floor....much better. N... Read more

Nice hotel and rooms were clean and updated. It was a little bit of a hike to the beach as we were located in the very back of the resort. No problem though as I need the exercise anyway. Jorge was a great bartender at the pool bar and was very accommodating. Robert was a little bit of a pain in the rear always wanting your room card to charge drinks. The cards are paper and get destroyed the first time you use them at the pool bar. They get wet and the ink runs and we kept getting directed to g... Read more

Nice Pools (silent spots and action spots for kids). Food was "american style" but nevertheless really good. The grounds are nice and having the restaurants on-site is a plus. My room was clean and I loved the bathroom. However, my room was ice cold!! When help came they said the thermostat was broken and needed to be replaced. I froze for 2 nights because it was never fixed. The manager (Ryan) came and witnessed my complaint as well. The Golf Villas are truly exceptional. They're situated on their own private gated area of the property. You have to be sure that you're getting a golf villa when you book. The villas have a Saturday check in ONLY. Each consist of 2 full baths, washer and dryers, 2 terraces, living room, dinning room. Gorgeous pools and a superb 9 hole golf course. Truly an awesome place, you won't regret staying there.

Pros: Conveniently located to downtown and 2 grocery stores, have rights to access other Divi properties and close to the beach with great swimming. Cons: infinity pool happy hour is for an hour and the infinity bar closes at 5:45 and the grill at the infinity bar closes before that. So, just when you get ready to party, there isn't a bar close by to do that. The staff are not overly friendly except the golf cart shuttle drivers. Found a good deal for lodging on Orbitz for the Divi Golf Resort. We had room 7106, very close to the smaller pool and bar. We were also close to the street, which made it easy to walk to the beach or catch a cab. I originally asked for a room on the top floor which some have hot tubs, but that didn't happen. Being on the 1st floor was nice, no steps to climb and we could walk out our patio door right to the pool. The larger pool area was very cool: infinity pool, water slide, hot tub, & swim up... Great pool for the kids (9 & 10 years old), with a slide that gets a LOT of attention. ;) Easy access to the beach (right across the street), golf facilities on site (including a range and chipping and putting area), and friendly, helpful staff.
