We stayed 5 nights in a Villa Suite, room 754 on the 5th floor. The open air lobby with friendly front desk staff was a nice first impression. We checked in around 5 pm on a Thursday with no wait. The layout of the suite was great, and there was plenty of room for 2 people to spread out. It was nice to have a master and main bathroom. I liked the design, decor, and finishes of the room, but there were small things that added up to give me the feeling it wasn't quite top shelf, like toothpaste sp... Read more

My friend has a time share at Divi Phoenix. I have been going the my friends for about 4 years. We stay at the Villas and able to have breakfast out doors. The view is beautiful. The staff is so accommodating. The keep the resort very clean. The spa has been done over and you have a sense of calm when you are there. The Villa we stay at is a great location to have at the Divi Phoenix.

Rented a studio. The sofa which is shown in their pictures to NOT be in front of the bed, is directly in front of the bed. The room was like a closet. And the bathroom you couldn't turn around in. The front desk, especially the manager was very RUDE. Especially Tanisha. Free legal advice, if you're African American do NOT stay here. The only blacks you will see working there are the ones cleaning your room. WiFi terrible.

We have been coming to Aruba for many years now and the first trip down we came to the Phoenix for a timeshare meeting. Instantly fell in love with the resort and bought a timeshare that day. Best decision we made. Now we get to enjoy the beautiful resort and gorgeous island every year. It's in a great location as the first high rise, making it pretty private for us. We see the same faces every year we come which is very comforting, but also fun. We absolutely love the pool bar, especially happy... Read more

We have stayed here before and had a great time and this visit was the same. The only thing that was an issue was the elevator that seemed to be out of service more then in service. There are two and it seemed one was always down. We were on the 8th floor and one time had to take the stairs down to the beach because both were out of service, luckily by late afternoon they both working, one for a short time and it quit but the other was fine. After reading many reviews of the places to stay in Aruba, I chose the DiVi Aruba Phoenix. I liked the location, as it is in the quieter area of the hotels. We stayed 9 days, it was fabulous! The staff at the DiVi Phoenix went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible! I so enjoyed meeting many of the hard working people employed by the DiVi Phoenix! It started with Ghislaim, at the front desk, she was so kind, and personable, she made me feel like family. My room was in the towe... Read more

This was our 35th time visiting the island. We just returned a week ago, after spending 10 days there. We try to vacation in Aruba twice a year. Due to the hotel that we usually stayed in previous years had closed 3 years ago, we had to find another property... We found the Divi Phoenix and have stayed there for the last 4 times we visited the island. Both my wife and I feel that it is the best property on the island due to it being right on the beach.... We stayed at the Divi from 5/23-6/2 and loved it. We were hooked up with a beautiful suite for our honeymoon, a 1br in the beach tower. We had an amazing view from our balcony and the room was clean, well stocked with kitchen essentials and serviced by the cleaning staff daily. They even gave us a bottle of champagne. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The best part of this hotel is the location, it is at the start of the high rise district and has the best beach - not too rocky, start... Read more

The location is great. It is within walking distance to other hotels and the strip of restaurants with out being on top of everything. The beach is not crowded and it was easy to get a lounge chair. We stayed in a suite which was modern and nicely decorated. The room had a mildew smell which I can imagine is due to the air conditioner and humidity. Our dresser had too much of an overpowering smell we could not put clothes in it. The restaurants at the hotel were just ok. They are good f... Read more

We stayed here in the beginning of June and enjoyed every minute of our stay. The resort is busy but quiet, and the beach was great. We walked daily to the other end of the high rise area and each time we were thankful we picked the Phoenix. The room we stayed in was updated and part of newest phase. This is a great resort if you have kids or just want to relax at a quiet location, if we ever come back to Aruba we will be staying here again.

The room was great-- we had a one bedroom, 2 bath room overlooking the pool. We were on the 2nd floor and had a view of the ocean across the pool. The room was really nice and a good size for a family of 4. The staff was really friendly and the grounds were very well kept. The food at the deli was great-- we didn't eat at Pure Ocean since we wanted to try other restaurants in the area. The beach is great- there are palapas, chairs and hammocks available. Yes, we like the resort - that's why we purchased our unit-that specific location and model. Sick of NEVER being able to get any exchanges with RCI, we opted not to renew, and while staying at the resort last year - told the Owner Rep that we only wanted to have our unit reserved each year - no more RCI. So when RCI contract ended November 2015 - we let it expire. This year, we called DIVI to reserve a few extra nights before or after our week - only to find out we have no reservation. Despite n... Our family of three stayed 4 nights in the beach tower, 5th floor, one bedroom. The beds were comfortable, and the room very clean. Kitchen had all necessary items for cooking; and combination washer/dryer unit worked; albeit very slowly. Staff was helpful and friendly. Our only complaint: smoking on the balconies and patios/pool area should be banned and enforced. We did not utilize spa or restaurants, so cannot comment. We purchased here about 8 years ago and have been beyond happy with our decision. We stay a total of 3 weeks each year and love the staff, the cleanliness of the grounds, and the peacefulness. Before purchasing, I actually walked the beach asking other owners if they were happy with the property and there wasn't a single complaint. We have family that loves to come with us now as well and are thinking of also purchasing a unit here.

The location is great, about 5 min drive from the grocery store. You have much less expensive options out there and you can still be very close to the beach, as well as have breakfast included. Ask me for tips. My friend and I are here for two weeks and what hit me first was the powerful smell of mold when we arrived, as well as every time we returned from outside. Outdoor dining and happy hour is accompanied by blaring music and karaoke. On arrival the desk told us the restaurants were open to 10 pm, but everything was shut up and we drove to a Benihana... One Bedroom unit was great with a great ocean view - can't get a better view than this. I would come back based on these alone. Had to get supervisors involved. Elevators have worked off and on for last five days. Ice machines only work on third floor. Do yourself a huge favor stay here before you buy a timeshare here.

Nice place near beach and walkway. Clean great kitchen and bathrooms. We had an one bedroom and it was big enough for 4 people. The sofa was a pull out. The only thing that surprised us was the food prices. Our unit had a kitchen, so we decided to cook. The food is very high because everything has a high tax and imported. Other than that, everything was fine. Helpful hint take the bus to downtown. It is $2.60 one way vs $11.00 with a taxi.

Divi Phoenix Beach Resort is our favorite place in Aruba. Beautiful white sandy beach with plenty of chaise lounges with and without shade. You're welcome to take your own refreshments to the beach for the day to save on that bar tab, or use the pool bar just steps away. This resort is located at the far end of Palm Beach high rises, right at the beginning of the world famous Eagle beach. Quiet beach, but not boring; and easy walk up the beach to all of rowdy crowd when in the mood.
