Although the place could use a fresh coat of paint the location and the super friendly staff made up for it. Everything is within walking distance. We wouldn't look for any place else to stay when we return to Aruba!

Staff really friendly and helpful. Stayed in a room at the front of the hotel, which allows less intrusion from the disco at the back. Rooms are adequate, clean and comfortable. Breakfast of pastries was nothing special, which was skipped after the first day. Would stay here again as it gives a good base to explore the area without paying expensive rates for the high end hotels.

Our 1st trip to Aruba was wonderful mostly because the staff here can not do enough for you! Sharia made all of our dinner reservations and car arrangements. Shirley kept our room very clean. Stanley and Carlo always with a cheerful greeting out front. Mr. Keyter has assembled a wonderful staff. Older hotel central to e everything. Looking forward to next year. Thank You Juan and staff!

Stayed at Brickell Bay in April, 2016. I traveled alone to meet friends. I felt very safe. This is one of the smaller resorts, so you are treated like a pampered customer, not a number. The staff was very pleasant and they couldn't do enough for us. You can catch a ride across to the beach in a golf cart if you need to, but it was really close enough to walk. They even made dinner reservations for us. The rooms were clean and the pool bar was pretty cool too! I will definitely return to B... Read more

Overall, the Brickell Bay is clean, pleasant, and conveniently located. I spent several days there over the Christmas holidays and mostly enjoyed my stay. My third floor room was a great value for the price, comfortable and quiet. I had a good view of the avenue -- albeit out of dirty windows, but maybe that's the salt air, since I rarely see clean windows in Aruba. Housekeeping was excellent, very important in a humid climate. The halls and public areas were clean and well lit. Best of all,... Read more

Our first trip to Aruba and we stayed 7 nights at this beautiful small and personal hotel. It is very clean and has warm Welcome feeling! I loved the cold orange flavoured water in the lobby!!! Everything worked, the rooms were excellent and the price was reasonable. We went Air Canada Vacations. That staff are fantastic with a big shout out to my favourite bartender and now adopted daughter Jardiella!!! If you see her tell her I said hello!! She is so friendly and easy to talk to. My stay here was nice. The staff is extremely helpful and nice. We LOVED Randy. The room was clean and the location close to most spots. If you wanted to travel downtown you could drive or walk or take the bus across the street. Also, the area was extremely safe.

the room was very clean and confortable, every time that you need anything they bring you rigth away , the staff is very friendly, in a few words excellent . I think that they should have, is a refrigerator in the room, and they have to improved the breakfast ( is a very poor continental breakfast ) but this are very small facts compare with the overall

Before we left for Aruba I looked up this hotel and saw some reviews that weren't that great and I thought of staying someplace else, but so glad we didn't. This was a great place, right in the middle of the town. The hotel was clean and staff was very friendly. It was a little run down, but was very clean. The pool area was very nice. I would definitely stay there again.

I enjoyed my stay here. The staff was welcoming and friendly. They gave my friends and I directions with a smile. This hotel is super close to the beach and not as crowded as the larger chain hotels. You can also walk to the grocery store which is about a 10 minute or so walk. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Save some money and stay here!

The high point of our stay at the Brickell bay was the hotels Bell Man Carlos. The guy was so positive and helpful. A real pro. Thank you Carlos for helping both Lisa and I have an awesome stay. The rest of the staff were also good but the rooms need a lot of improvement. No bureaus for clothing. Inoperative tv and sometimes noisy ceiling fan. Hallways are very dark and a bit gloomy.

Booked 8 nights to rest and celebrate. The lobby is well kept with a friendly staff. The accommodations in room 410 very disappointed. The AC unit drips water and created a puddle and we slipped twice. The hairdryer didn't work and went to bed with wet hair. The blowdryer was replaced the 2nd night. The room connects to another guests room and could hear conversations. The shower drain was clogged and chemicals were poured down the 2nd night to unclog shower drain. This is not a 5 star hotel, vut it has everything you need. Location is top notch as it is located in the very middle of the hotel area surrounded by restaurants and stores. Bed was great and attention as well. Not in front of the beach but you do have it after a 5 min walking distance (they offer chairs on the beach), so..you do get the beach spot but without having to spend crazy money in a in-front-of-the-beach hotel.

We were supposed to stay there 2 weeks. Let start with the best point : the pillows ! They are really good. Also good : the lobby is well maintained and desk officers are definitely efficient and nice. Now the much less good : 1. Breakfast : everyday the same and with a very limited choice - only bread basket or arepas (kind of fried corn venezuelan bread). One morning the croissants were so hard, it was simply impossible to eat them. The arepas were clearly not freshly made. 2. Maintenance ... Read more

Again, affordable and prime location. We don't spend too much time in our hotel rooms, therefore we choose affordability and location. Restaurants, clubs, beach, casinos at your fingertips.... I actually do recommend staying there. Also, it's adults only. I would've contemplated staying there again, but ended up purchasing a timeshare.

At first sight the hotel looks OK, all staff is really friendly but surprises come when you go to the pool. Music is too loud and quality is poor, unpleasant. You can hear the cars on the street, not really a place to relax and read. Towels are good and you have a shower and spa facility by the pool. The morning brings another surprise, it is a basic - very basic- continental breakfast. Additionally, products are not fresh, buns are dry and hard and the arepas, which are only fried, were not fr... Read more

The staff couldn't be more helpful. Everyone was so nice. A continental breakfast was included which consisted of grapes, banana bread, toast, a muffin, a croissant, freshly squeezed oj, and coffee. You are always free to order from the menu and pay for it. There is a club car which will take you to the beach if you need it. The beach is really close though. The hallways are not air conditioned. The rooms are great though and we were quite pleased. WE wanted for nothing. It was quiet and peacef... Read more

Nice boutique hotel accross the street from the beach. They had a designated beach area wit chairs so getting to the water was no problem. The staff was fantastic and met our every need! Tomatoe Charlies had great food all day but we took a lot of tours so we weren't there much. The pool bar closes at 6 but the nightlife is ready to rock as soon as you exit out the back of the hotel. No need for a car you can walk to everything in Palm Beach! We will be back!

The hotel is OK. a place to rest your head while on vacation. Staff friendly. The continental breakfast included could have had a wider variety as there were only 2 options. The mini fridge was free when we asked but very old however it did its job of keeping stuff cool. There is no coffee maker in the rooms, just 2 glasses and a plastic ice bucket. Cynthia one of the pool bar tenders was very nice and helpful and gave us lots of information about aruba. Louisa from Tomato Charlie (Restaurant ea... Read more

The staff are very friendly and helpful and the rooms are OK. End of good news! The breakfast is atrocious, not worth having, go across the street to Salt and Peppers. Arrived a little early and was checked in immediately. All of the staff throughout our stay was friendly and absolutely helpful with recommendations and bookings. The hotel itself is somewhat dated but they have renovations (pool, lobby, shower and some furniture in room) and stylish upgrades that quickly make you forget. It's not located on the beach but it is a quick 2 minute walk away and they do have a spot with an attendant on the beach with chairs for hotel guests. The hotel is on directly... Read more

This was my third time at this hotel, last time four years ago. I found it worst, all the good staff had gone, excepting the general manager who never receive the guests. The breakfast is fair, the service not good. Now it is only for adults so it makes you think the service is better. It is not. It is true that location is very good but now they have a disco bar nearby tha pool with very loud music until 3 in the morning. They didn,t say so. The towels are in bad condition. Where the hotel was, was great, but half the staff doesn't know what's going on. Some are nice and some just aren't friendly. There was one bell guy that kept asking me to go out and would call me in my room to see what I was doing. Completely unprofessional as far as I'm concerned. I would go back to the island but not stay here again.

We arrived early and were allowed to check-in. That was quick and easy. Room was clean and cozy. Wifi worked well. The TV was not working and housekeeping promptly changed it. So overall service was good. It is not a free continental breakfast. That is available for a fee. The hotel was ok considering prices and location, it is the best if you want to enjoy all the nightlife of Oranjestad and the best beaches, because is ubicated on Palm Beach zone (the highest hotels area), so definitively this is your best option to keep your budget. The only bad thing is breakfast, very low and poor, but you can pay an extra.
