Great place to stay. Most bars and restaurants are first class. However Peter was the exception. No coffee or frozen drinks at his bar. Food orders were only from his menu, wouldn't bring soup or different entrees from downstairs restaurant.

Hotel staff was awesome especially Ellen who made us feel at home as soon as we entered the lobby. Staff was very friendly, courteous, accommodating and made sure we were satisfied. The rooms were very clean, in very good shape and had all the amenities we needed. The grounds were spotless and had someone attending to them every day to keep them as clean as possible. The pool was good enough to cool off in during the hottest parts of the day. The beach out front of the hotel had the whitest and ... Read more

Handy kitchen with plenty of appliances, fridge, microwave, hob etc etc. bed was comfortable (normal double size not queen or king). Amsterdam Manor is a cute, not too big hotel resort in original Dutch Colonial architecture, situated right in front of one of the best beaches I have ever seen (and I've traveled a lot!). I wouldn't call it a Boutique hotel and it is certainly not one of these huge thousands of beds resorts which are more or less the same all over the world. It doesn't over all kinds of super-fluent amenities, features and services that most of them you wouldn't use nor need any way. In fact it offers all the i... Read more

Amsterdam Manor was the right choice for us. We visited the large, multi-story hotel area and found it to be congested and commercialized. The Amsterdam Manor was warm and intimate and only seconds away from the beach. The staff assisted us in choosing our activities and restaurants. This was our honeymoon and cannot wait to visit Aruba again.

I cannot say enough good things about Amsterdam manor, but let me start by saying there is not one negative thing to say. From the moment of our arrival we were made to feel welcome as a good friend would welcome you. We were upgraded to a superior studio, given a bottle of wine, and a gift of a beautiful frame. My family and I absolutely loved staying at the Amsterdam. The staff was beyond friendly and accommodating. Anything we needed, we felt comfortable going down and asking for it. They left new food menus and chocolate in our room everyday. They served cocktails when you first check in. And when our flight was at a weird time (4 hours after check out) they extended one of our rooms for us, for free. Would highly recommend this resort to anyone going to Aruba.

After reviewing all of the hotels, I selected Amsterdam Manor. I was not disappointed. The clean room and grounds were perfect. And, the quiet atmosphere is great, too. While I was a bit concerned about not being "on the beach," that turned out to be a non-issue. The beautiful brick walkway from the hotel to the beach is all of about 50 feet. When we went (late June), the beach was not crowded at all, either. The front desk scheduled our tour (De Palm all-day tour was excellent) and din... Read more

Ok. Let me preface this review with the fact that I travel over 200 days a year, so I am in a lot of different beds, sometimes 3-4 a week. So, when I say that Amsterdam Manor needs to look at their beds, I am serious as, otherwise, this is an exceptional resort. Located on pristine Eagle Beach, and featuring private beachfront palapas located a quick walk from the hotel, it really is a picture perfect place. Wonderful place just a few steps from an even more beautiful beach! No stones, pebbles or rocks! Great that they provide foam matrasses on the beach, a waterfountain and plenty umbrellas. Will definitely return to this paradise!

This hotel truly delivered and made our stay that much better. We were originally booked for the MVC however they informed us we were being moved to the Amsterdam Manor. Both are conveniently located about 5 min walk from each other. Upon arrival we were greeted by friendly and happy staff which offered us a complimentary rum punch and informed us we had an upgraded room! Since our room was not ready we were given passes for the beach towels to enjoy if we wished. We of course quickly rushed t... Read more

Amazing experience. I cannot say enough good things about the Amsterdam Manor. Came here on our honeymoon. Staff went above and beyond for us. We were greeted with a special gift and a bottle of Champagne upon checking in. Talked to Jurgen (Managing Director) during the Manager's Reception and he upgraded us for free to the honeymoon suite. By the way, do not miss the manager's reception - free hot snacks and $1 drinks. Peter, the bartender at Horizons, was super friendly and makes the most amaz... Read more

Fabulous beach ( across the very quiet road with a crossing right in front of the hotel - don't let it being across the road out you off - it is no problem) Bar, toilets and restaurant on the beach. Very friendly and helpful staff We had a 1 bedroom apartment for a fortnight which was lovely - very well equipped Small low rise hotel made for a quiet relaxing holiday but bus service is so good you can get anywhere very easily so you can dip in and out of the busyness as you please

The staff at the Amsterdam Manor could not have been nicer and more helpful. The concierge was invaluable and every bartender and waiter was personable and friendly. The location was great, very calm and relaxing. If you want a variation in food, be prepared to take a cab or the bus as the hotel is a little far from other restaurants and shops.

I traveled to Aruba on July 27th of 2016 and it was a wonderful island. Amsterdam Manor wasn't far from the airport, and do take a taxi instead of those buses. I arrived early and they were kind enough to let us check in early. Our room was spacious with a kitchenette as well as pots, utensils, microwave, toaster, etc. It was fully equipped for a long stay. This hotel may not be for everyone. I liked it because this trip was to relax and unplug from NYC. The hotel is clean, quiet and loca... Read more

Amsterdam Manor has the most friendliest people I have ever met. Rooms are very clean. Decoration is very tasty. Kitchen had all the necessary thing, including dish soap and dish towels. I would recommend it to anyone.

I wanted to stay at Amsterdam Manor ever since I went to Aruba first time and saw the property and the beach restaurant at night. Location is perfect as Eagle Beach is, for me, the best beach in Aruba. Having the Biggest Super Market in Aruba close comes handy too. I paid for the smallest room since I only traveled with one family member but is perfectly enough for couples or lone travelers. The staff is very friendly, specially the girls at the mini-market. The best surprise I got staying in Am... Read more

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Amsterdam Manor. It's in the low-rise area so lower density - easy to find chairs at pool, cabana at the beach. Okay - it was the off season. Staff was very friendly, esp Peter in Mangos Bar. Very interesting and entertaining... in all languages. We liked the international mix at this resort. A good variety of Europeans travelers (esp NL) and around the globe.
