Maria from new york, ny had this to say:
"I'll start this out by saying that there are people in this world no matter what will find something to complain about and can never be pleased! We stayed at the Westin May 26-31st. When we pulled up from the outside I was a bit disappointed. It looked very blahh compared to all of the other hotels we passed on the way. As soon as we walked in, all my worries went away! The lobby is absolutely beautiful and smells great (I wonder what they use to keep it smelling that way). Check in was a breeze, I asked for an even number room and was given one, however, we were only on the 7th floor. We went up to our room,The room was simple and clean. The bed was comfy, there was a pretty cool flat screen TV, we had a small fridge (I was under the impression that the room wouldn't have one- I read somewhere that they had to be requested) the bathroom was a little small, however, it was fine- no complaints. The pool was nice and clean, The spa was great, the beach was nice. The only complaint we had was that during the stay there was a problem with the hotel's satellite which sucked as there isn't much nightlife in Aruba, so in the late evening/early AM we were very limited as to what we could watch. All in all, I def would return to the Westin. I was worried about the negative reviews but they were definitely either written by competing hotels or silly ppl who can not be pleased!"

A Recent Traveler from St. Clair Shores, MI had this to say:
"On our recent trip to Aruba, we ended up staying at the Westin, because our first Hotel had overbooked and left us without a room. We found the staff very friendly and helpful. The room was large and very clean. We had an Ocean view with a balcony. I believe all rooms had a balcony. We ate most of our meals in the Hotel. Every restaurant was very very good. We did not experience one bad meal. The only negative was getting up early and reserving a Hut on the beach or by the pool for the days we planed to stay around the hotel all day. We would definately recommend and return to the Westin again. "
