We stayed in a King room in Phase III (closest to Oranjestad). Lots of room for a couple with a separate bedroom and kitchen/living room. Degfinitely not a 5-star place but it works for us. We enjoy having a kitchen and cooking for ourselves and there is a nearby supermarket that one can easily walk to so you don't need a car. The beds are very hard but this is better than too soft. There has been very little upgrades of the units over the last decade plus that we have stayed here and it shows... Read more

We are owners of the Divi Vacation Club and this was the first time we stayed at the Divi Dutch Village. We were not disappointed. I had asked for a newly renovated room, the third floor and close to the beach. We know we are not guaranteed these requests, but we were surprised that we received all three. The rooms were beautiful with an updated kitchen, living room, dining room and bedroom. The people were very helpful at the front desk and we were welcomed with a rum punch drink. We alway... Divi Dutch is upgrading. The new upgrades are great, about 1/3 of the rooms. This will be 4 star when the rest of the upgrades are done. Positives: uncrowded beach, close to airport, private, close to shopping, downtown. Negatives: average cleanliness, a little dated, some beach erosion.

We just returned after staying a week at this resort. The renovations made it very comfortable and very nice. Our family all had a great time from my youngest grandchild to my oldest There were 2 staff that we particularly enjoyed talking to : Marissa who helped us find things to do and Fray who shuttled us around. Great folks to talk to and laugh with. The woman who cleaned our room has been there for over 30 years and was extremely nice and took really good care of us. The pools were beautifu... Read more

We have stayed at the Divi All inclusive 5 previous times and when we went to book this year, it was sold out. My husband selected the Dutch Village instead and we were just as happy there! The location is sort of right behind the beach front rooms of the Tam. Before we left home, I thought that the dutch village was across the street, it is not. It is the same side as the beach. Our room was suite 19 and we were on the 3rd floor. One downfall with that is there are no elevators. Not because... Read more

Our 13th stay at Dutch Villlage was a pleasure - again! We spent 3 wonderful weeks in renovated Phase 1, and were really impressed with the changes and upgrades that had been made. The new units are really impressive, including a dishwasher in the kitchen which was an extra plus as we like to make our own meals sometimes. The new pool area is beautiful, just steps from our patio door and the beach a mere 100 meters away. The Tiki-Tiki still makes wonderful shrimp quesadillas if you ask Shirley... Read more

This was our first trip to Aruba. The Divi Dutch Village is in the process of being renovated and we were fortunate to get one of their newly refurbished units. The property is in close proximity to downtown and a local super market is within walking distance. The staff was pleasant and friendly. This resort is kid friendly and has plenty of beach front for everybody. I would highly recommend this property.

This resort has gotten some bad press, and I'm here to tell you that we don't know why! We chose Divi Dutch Village all inclusive because of the price, and we were treated like first class guests. I will begin by saying that we went with some family members and we told Divi during the booking that we wanted all of our family at least in the same complex. When we got there, we weren't . But thanks to a wonderful front desk assistant by the name of Jennifer, she worked her magic and actually got ... Read more

From the initial contact at front desk to the servers one would definitely get the impression that Aruba is not the happiest place on earth! They need some customer service classes that's for sure. We booked 2 nights arriving thinking we had an all inclusive stay and we didn't. Was told we had to stay a min of 3 nights so I said ok book me an extra night. They refused cuz they said we wouldn't be here. My reply was what do u care if I stay or not if I'm paying for it? I explained it makes no sen... Read more
