This was our first trip to Aruba. The Divi Dutch Village is in the process of being renovated and we were fortunate to get one of their newly refurbished units. The property is in close proximity to downtown and a local super market is within walking distance. The staff was pleasant and friendly. This resort is kid friendly and has plenty of beach front for everybody. I would highly recommend this property.

This resort has gotten some bad press, and I'm here to tell you that we don't know why! We chose Divi Dutch Village all inclusive because of the price, and we were treated like first class guests. I will begin by saying that we went with some family members and we told Divi during the booking that we wanted all of our family at least in the same complex. When we got there, we weren't . But thanks to a wonderful front desk assistant by the name of Jennifer, she worked her magic and actually got ... Read more

From the initial contact at front desk to the servers one would definitely get the impression that Aruba is not the happiest place on earth! They need some customer service classes that's for sure. We booked 2 nights arriving thinking we had an all inclusive stay and we didn't. Was told we had to stay a min of 3 nights so I said ok book me an extra night. They refused cuz they said we wouldn't be here. My reply was what do u care if I stay or not if I'm paying for it? I explained it makes no sen... Read more

We spent 7 nights at The Divi village ,We enjoyed every moment, We enjoyed the wonderful beach which is few steps away, Even our rides in the shuttle carts were enjoyable and fun filled with friendly drivers.we watched our kids from our balcony when they were swimming in the pool. We had wonderful culinary experiences in the few restaurants in the neighboring Divi resorts. Finally, Big Kudos to The house-keeping for doing a wonderful job in cleaning and even washing the dishes. We will defini... Read more

We just returned from a 7-night all inclusive trip to the Tamarijn Resort - Dutch Village and had a wonderful time. The highlights were a newly renovated two-bedroom apartment (one bedroom and a pull-out sofa bed) adjacent to the pool in Dutch Village, excellent food and drinks, and lots of activities for both parents and children. We took advantage of the Fun Kids Club in the mornings for our daughters who really enjoyed the activities and the friendly counselors. We spent most of our time a... Read more

We are leaving today. This place is newly renovated and great! Lobby opened the day we got here. Our room still smelled like drywall a good way! Lol. There is still some construction going on, and they are working out renovation completion, but we loved it. Very close to beautiful beach. Shuttle service all over resort very convenient.

Resort is beautiful but front desk staff is entirely unhelpful. No one knows anything and to be associated with the tamarijn they act like its another planet. Was not told any details by front desk about amenities or how to get beach towels.

They don't tell you when you book that there are no Ocean view rooms. They all belong to another resort. There is no restaurant at the Divi Dutch and if you go to the Tiki Bar, it may be closed. The shuttle service is not good. Some will take you across to the Divi Golf, others won't. You may wait a long time for a shuttle. It's best to dial 0 from your room and ask for a shuttle in advance. The Divi Golf is a much nicer place.

I was in Aruba for 2 weeks. The first week, I booked 3 rooms at Dutch Village and asked if they could be all in the same building, we were getting married on the property and wanted our family close by. Apparently that was too much to ask, as we were scattered throughout the property. The front desk was also no help in finding us rooms closer together. Our unit was close to the construction going on in the building behind us....waking me up at 7am each day we were in that room. The second ... Read more
