Although a bit outside of town (you can reach the main street, Ave del Liberador, with 15 min of walking), it was a great place on the shores of Lago Argentino. The room was clean and the staff was extremely helpful. When we had trouble booking excursions, one of the ladies continued to call and offered other options of things to do. She also gave great restaurant and bar recommendations. I would highly recommend this hotel.

We spent a few nights there between various excursions. I just highly recommand this place. First, all the staff is super nice and very helpful. They take the time for each customer and I really value that, especially when travelling abroad. They all try to make our stay as convenient as possible. Then, the hotel by itself is super nice and very well decorated. I really felt like at home. It is a bit outside of the center but it's walking distance, so no big deal. We experienced the food at the... Read more

We stayed for two nights. The staff were very helpful and organised airport transfers, taxis, packed lunch, trip to glacier and laundry. The rooms were small but nice. Breakfast was simple with bread and jam mainly. My kids were disappointed but what there was, was homemade and very nice. Had afternoon tea overlooking the lake which was lovely. (No charge). We quite liked the walk to and from town although you can pick up random dogs on the way!

I stayed here for 2 nights while (of course) visiting the Glacier. The whole hotel smells like lavender and they play relaxing spa music in the lobby so you feel relaxed as soon as you arrive. The breakfast is all homemade breads, cakes, and jams. Although it´s a bit of a hike to town it´s about a 2 minute walk to the nearby nature peserve. I would stay here again.

The Cauquenes de Nimez is ideally situated 1/2 mile walk from the bustle of downtown and all of it's tourist attractions. Located a few blocks also from a bird sanctuary we enjoyed our morning walks or afternoon bicycle rides (the hotel provides for free bicycles). The rooms were very comfortable and large and the beds were comfortable. Unfortunately the breakfast was really nothing special and prevented us from giving an excellent rating to the overall experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay. We love the smaller hotels and the personal feel. It is very comfortable, very clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. The small restaurant has wonderful views and excellent food. Location is near the delightful small nature reserve and the lake yet only 10 minutes from the main street. The only sound that you hear on waking are the birds.

My partner and I stayed here 4 nights whilst visiting the area and it was by far my favourite hotel of the holiday. Clean with comfy beds, good showers and a decent size room. The breakfasts were the best of the holiday too, all home made with no preservatives. Packed lunches were decent although the bread was never great (but then I wasn't a fan of the bread anywhere in Argentina). The best part of the hotel however was Pascale (not sure if that is how I spell it). She was incredibly helpful wh... Read more

Room is tiny and cluttered with useless cute furnishings. Shower basin fills with water and overflows on the floor in 2 different rooms. Bathroom had such a strong moldy odor that we had to keep the window open all night to breathe. Sheets were too small for the matress which left you sleeping directly on a stained mattress. Steps on the stairs were loose and felt like they would dislodge while climbing the stairs. Breakfast is not worth sitting for. Toaster worked for 2 slices of bread at a tim... Read more

beautiful room, large and modern. staff is very friendly and very helpfull. the hole atmosphere is famaliar. the restaurant serves every day except sundays a menu. Are you disabled ?find a another place it's al stairs and more stairs despited the friendlyness. An another point is the situation. It's lying in the outskirt of the village what's not a pretty good sight. On my stay the wifi was not good. What the vieuw concerns tree's and new houses block the vieuw sadly enough.

Beautiful rooms. Excellent service. Well priced. Great food and staff is very helpful and knowledgeable about local places to visit. The place sits far away from town to be quiet, but close enough to get there walking. Views are fantastic! Loved the place and would go back.
