an old palace, only a few rooms, but perfect if you want to escape from too large, depressing hotels. old, charming building. the staff is very nice, the area of old palermo fantastic to eat and hang around. our room, facing the street, was a little loud due to traffic, if that's a problem you should be aware.

Generally the hotel is a quality, modern hotel in a decent location. The staff were very friendly, helpful and let us check in early. The weekend brunch was delicious and the welcome drink was a nice touch. For us, the problem was that the standard room we were in had windows looking onto a communal courtyard. So if you wanted any natural light you'd open the curtains and anyone walking past could see right in. It meant we felt a bit cooped up in the room with no natural light. If you fancy a ... Read more

The hotel is in a great location, close to the metro, very comfortable and quiet. Above all that, the staff was extremely welcoming, nice and competent. We picked it by chance, we will certainly choose it again when back to Buenos-Aires.

We stayedour last night in Buenos Aires in the Vain Boutique in Palermo. The location is perfect for walking around the neighbourhood and to the parks and Malba museum. We enjoyed the welcome drink in the window side lounge and the fabulous made to order breakfast with fresh fruit, baked items, eggs, juice, coffee etc. The room was clean and comfortable although an odd configuration. The hotel comprises two buildings joined in the middle with a staircase and column of middle rooms. Ours had... Read more

Nice little hotel in a great location in Palermo with cafes, restaurants, shops and bookstores nearby. It is also within walking distance of MALBA and even the Recoleta cemetery. The staff are lovely and very friendly, attentive and obliging and quickly respond to any requests. Breakfast is something to really look forward to. You can choose anything and everything from the menu - fruit, yogurt, omelettes, medialunas. The hotel is very clean and comfortable and a pleasant place to stay.

We spent a week at the Vain Boutique Hotel in March as our base for exploration for Buenos Aires between visits to Patagonia and Iguazu. Returning each time we were warmly welcomed with complimentary wine, our suitcases (which were kept for us) in our room, and helpful information about where to explore next in and around BA. The room was comfortable, spacious and included a lovely balcony to view the tree lined streets of Paloma. The location, close to restaurants, the train, the botanical gard... Read more

The Vain was the nicest hotel we stayed in Buenos Aires. Great location, nice room, comfortable bed, good bathroom with very good amenities. And a very nice gesture: the hotel offered me a bottle of wine and a greeting card for my birthday. Really great! Loved my stay.

Very friendly staff, who were always willing to help us. It was nice having two areas to relax- there is one opposite reception where we gathered to have breakfast, and another on the roof for evening drinks. Enjoyed our time there and would definitely go back.

The Vain Boutique Hotel has an amazing breakfast and the most friendly and helpful staff. I was traveling with my 87 year old mother and the staff ensured that we chose the perfect Tango Show and City tour to meet her needs. Additionally, when we needed a taxi or a suggestion for a restaurant they were attentive and gave us the best options. The rooms were clean and the wine in the room upon arrival was excellent.

The staff was very kind and we were very pleased by the service they've provided, specially on the breakfast, which was freshly prepared for the guest at the very moment the guests get on the breakfast room. The location was also good, around three corners away from the subte (subway). Besides, there are excellent options for dinner around to the hotelâ??s neighborhood which I would cite Don Julio, where I ate the best meat in Argentina. Others considerations: Wi-fi: works fine, no complaints... Read more

Superb location - we walked everywhere. The staff are extremely helpful and knowledgeable about what to see in the area and further afield. Although breakfast didn't official begin until after we had to leave for our flight the front of house staff kindly arranged that we didn't leave without eating ...... very much appreciated. There's no lounge area - or if there is we didn't find it. All in all a very good experience.

Small, modern hotel in a good neighborhood (Palermo). We only stayed for one night, but the rooms were comfortable and clean. They even made an exception and catered to our very early (5:30 am) breakfast, since we had an early flight out of Buenos Aires.

We stayed at Vain our last weekend in Buenos Aires after spending six weeks living in Argentina. The service was fantastic - letting us store extra luggage for four days while we traveled to Ushuaia. Breakfast was excellent and included everything you could want. Even though we were well acquainted with Palermo, the staff of the hotel were very knowledgeable about all the local restaurants and cafes.

Adorable hotel! Very friendly service. The breakfast is custom and very tasty. The bedroom is very well decorated. There are bicycles avaiable for guests. The location is good, 2 blocks walk to subway and very closer than restaurants, shops, etc.

Great hotel! We found this little gem on Trip Advisor when we decided to book a quick family trip to Buenos Aires. Wonderful staff, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Always available and willing to help. Delicious breakfast complete with fresh squeezed orange juice, tasty coffee and hot chocolate, eggs, bacon, toast and fruit. Located in a quaint neighborhood in the Palermo section of the city.

The staff were very helpful and kind with any needs! The hotel emulates a charming modern-Parisian style. The rooms were cute and clean, tho some of the furnishings were a bit worn..it fits the style of the hotel. Breakfast was good and filling, hot eggs/omelettes, fresh baked croissants & fruits. We chose the high-ceiling ground floor junior room facing a private courtyard (two chairs and some foliage), which felt spacious for the price. Most other rooms face the inner courtyard with smaller w... Read more

Perfect hosts for us non-Spanish speaking guests. The hotel is quite quirky- the rooms are comfortable and en-suite. The atmosphere is relaxed but professional. The roof terrace and upper lounge is lovely. Breakfast was great to set us up for a day's sightseeing. The hotel is in Palermo which was a good area and felt very safe. We walked around a lot including in the evening to restaurants. We used the tourist bus also which was ideal for a short stay. Thank you Kevin and Martin and all ... Read more

I had a short stay (24 hours) in BA and another hotel I liked was not available, so I chose this hotel based on its location and price. All of the staff took very good care of me and gave me great recommendations on a nearby restaurant and how to spend my time, their English was excellent, and the Sunday brunch, included in my room charge, was very relaxing, with made-to-order menu items served in a sunny, front-facing room.

We stayed in the Vain hotel for five nights while visiting Buenos Aires. The hotel is located in Palermo, near many restaurants, subway station, bus stations, walking distance to ZOO and botanical gardens, and stores. A real treat to stay here in the hustle and bustle of BsAs. The hotel is very clean, comfortable and stylish. On arrival, we were given vouchers for welcome drinks, there was fresh fruit on the counter every day, to help yourself to and the breakfast choice and quality was brilliant and you could have as much as you want, all included in the room rate. We made a last-minute booking with Vain Boutique Hotel for one night and couldn't have been happier with our choice. The hotel is well-situated in BA's Palermo section, very close to a number of restaurants, the underground, and Avenida Santa Fe for shopping. Vain was a standout for its amazing service - we spoke with three members of the staff on three different shifts, and each of them were incredibly kind and helpful.
