This hotel has a lot to offer starting with the location. While staying here you will be about a 3-5 minute walk from the main entrance of the Recoleta cemetery. This alone should be a huge incentive to book this property. Also within short walking distance you will find a shopping mall, money exchange and a wide variety of restaurants and cafes of both the tourist and local variety. The National Fine Arts Museum is also a 3-5 minute walk from the hotel. The collection deserves a look. Located a... Read more

The area of Recoleta was recommended by a colleague (who lives in BA) and stumbling across Sileo Hotel was a masterstroke. Directly in front of the cemetery, there are no views to speak of out the back (where I was), but the room was nice and spacious, with a lovely bathroom and pretty comfy bed. The staff were largely friendly and helpful, and even though I failed to check out the swimming pool, spa or breakfast (whoops...), I'd still consider it value for money.

We had a regular double room which was quite large with queen bed (very comfortable), flat screen TV, table and two chairs, closet and drawers with lots of room to unpack and put things away. There was a small kitchenette with a 2-burner cook top, microwave, small fridge, pots and pans and dishes for two. Tea and coffee were provided. There was also an in-room combination safe. The bathroom had a sink, toilet, bidet and good-sized shower with very good water pressure. We had nice quality towel... Read more

This is a very nice hotel, and definitely value for money, in the heart of the Ricoleta suburb of Buenos Aires, next to the cemetery and many restaurants, bars, ATMs and a shopping mall (where you can exchange money on the 3rd floor-they only take 50 and 100 dollar bills though, no such issue with British pounds.) Don't forget to go to PANI (next to the mall) for breakfast or a meal (can get crowded in the evenings). The room was quite comfortable and spacious with all the facilities you need, i... Read more

Great little boutique hotel on the side of Recoleta Cementerio . Nice staff, rooms & breakfast. Thanks Ezequiel and Lucas for your great service !! Good WiFi throughout for Skype and streaming. Supermercado 1/2 block away and Recoleta Mall 1 block. BA Tourist Bus 2 blocks but it's marginal value and poor schedule. Most taxis are $5-6 and worth it. Use radio taxi only!

This hotel was especially great on the weekend. The area was buzzing and there were lots of things to do. It's a few steps away from the weekend international food and arts fair! It's walking distance from museums, the Japanese garden, and across the street from Recoleta Cemetery. Lots of eateries, bars, and ice cream shops are in the area. The staff was attentive and the upgrade to the penthouse was definitely a plus! The penthouse had a spacious balcony and a magnificent view of the Reco... Read more

Stayed for 6 nights. Lovely rooms, spotlessly clean, fab location. What makes this hotel special is the staff-warm, welcoming, friendly and incredibly helpful. Miguel, Ezechiel and Susanna are fantastic and looked after me throughout my stay. Will definitely be back!

We booked Hotel because of comments on TripAdvisor and we are so happy we did. Great location, clean and large rooms very nicely decorated, super breakfast with real orange juice and eggs, friendly service and stunning view. We got stuck in Uruguay and since we booked non refundable they couldn't give us our money back but they upgraded us for the remaining 2 nights to cemetery view. That was the greatest gift my husband received for his birthday. Stunning, beautiful, unbeatable. Thanks Sileo!

I chose this hotel for our last night in Buenos Aires based on Tripadvisor reviews and some comments on the forums, although I normally try to stay in hotels that are ranked within the top 20 or so. We had stayed a few nights in a hotel in the Center which we absolutely loved, but wanted to spend a night in Recoleta. Our room was huge and we had a magnificent view of the cemetery. I thought the breakfast was very good, quite large and varied. The location is superb, not only near the cemeter... Read more

Staff all very good, with recommendations for activities, and places to eat excellent. They helped make the most efficient use of our limited time in Buenos Aires. The location, right next to the Recoleta Cemetery and easy walking distance to excellent restaurants, as well as Fine Arts Museum is a real plus.

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. There are many restaurants in the area. The hotel is about 5 minute walk to the nearest subway station (las heras). There is a place to exchange money in the near by Recoleta mall. It is well located hotel and the staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms are good size and modern with large bathroom. Our room also had a large balcony. We had a great stay here.

A friendly hotel, helpful staff and great breakfasts. Comfortable room with balcony. Very central to the cemetry, a 5 minute walk, restaurants and shopping mall. A safe area to walk around by night and day, quite central and close to the tourist bus. Weekend market in the park surrounding the cemetry.

When we arrived we were tired and didn't get a room with a view as we had requested. There was a little of a language barrier, but we waited and finally got a great room with a view at no extra charge. While we were waiting (40 mins) the cleark asked us if we would like a coke to drink and we accepted, only to find out it was placed on our bill. It wasn't a big deal, but the least they could have done is comp it for the time we had to wait to get the room situation sorted out. The hotel and r... Read more
