We spent three days in Buenos Aires before going on a cruise and had an awesome time here in San Telmo. The hotel is located close to all the "must do's" in Buenos Aires. The staff is helpful and friendly. I can recommend to do the Tigres tour which was recommended to us by the hotel staff and which we didn't regret. If you come into Argentina from abroad with a non Argentinian passport make sure the VAT is not charged, which happened to me, but could be solved easily when I found out. The break... Read more

Comfortable room and great bed. The staff was very helpful for directions, restaurants. Only problem was the noise. Portenos like to party until the wee hours and I could hear everything in the street.

Great location. Ok if you're on a budget. You get what you pay for I guess. Don't believe what you see in the photos. They make it look lovely when in fact it's a bit like a hostel. Bathroom is tiny and room a little dark and depressing. Not the sort of place you could come back and relax after a busy day sight seeing. The breakfast over the road was ok. They have plates the size of saucers to ensure you don't take more than your fill and a sign to tell you not to waste food! It all feels a bi... Read more

Hotel is not boutique! They need to look at definition. Staff are lovely and polite. The hotel furniture is cheap and tired. Rooms are dirty and my pillows smelt terrible couldn't sleep with them. Hotel lacks no atmosphere at all. Bathrooms are just ridiculously small. Door crashing into toilet. Breakfast is pathetic!! Tiny saucers, had to raise my voice to get a larger plate, they didn't want to give me it all all. Products they use are just cheap and nasty, everything dry, bread ok. Orange ju... Read more

Our first room had only one bedside table and light and one chair. They changed it the next day that just about came up to an acceptable standard. Tiny bathroom with half sized bath. Poor breakfasts in restaurant across the road with only saucer size plates available. Orange juice made from squash was not worth drinking after the first morning. Rooms not cleaned, just the bed made.

We thoroughly enjoyed my stay. First class service! Room cleanliness was also excellent and think that I was given one of the best rooms in the hotel. The bathroom very good, if a bit too small and sink design is a nuisance as the water flies up everywhere if the tap is turned fully on. The 24 hour front desk reception was a key asset to our group as we were tango dancing into the early hours and were always welcomed on our arrival with a smile, no matter how unsociable the hour! The only disapp... Read more

This is an apartment building converted to hotel. No services. No public areas. Room is filthy. Hallways are dirty. The bathroom has mold and hair all over the place. Breakfast is across the street being served by people that don't care about service and the quality is bad. Stay away. Pay a few more dollars and stay at Anselmo by Hilton in San Telmo.

It could not be better - this excellent hotel provides us complete amenities, a very clean and comfortable place, where you can always feel like home. The reception team is fantastic and very collaborative, especially Mauro Manillo, who helped me with check -in and all other needs, always being attentive, friendly and speaking very well English as well as Portuguese . I recommend everyone this hotel and I'll soon be back! Muchas Gracias!

I stayed here 2.5 years a go & now I'm back here , in my point of view it's clean , very convenient to get places & very affordable. & also you get free breakfast! I recommend this place . Try it in your trip to buenos Aires you'll like this place , In the summer time you probably find better deals it all will depend on the season. I'm giving this place four stars.

We chose here for my partners birthday, as we're travelling the world and thought we'd pay a bit more for something nicer. I wish we hadn't! For double the price we've been paying, the hotel is awful. SO SO noisy, all night. We didn't sleep well once. From rooms either sides TV, to staff on walky talkies from early until late. Clunking and moving of furniture - it's anything but relaxing. You simply can't sleep outside the hours of 2am - 6am. The rooms are small, and dark, our room had 1 dim l... Read more
