The hotel was in a good location to be able to get around and see the tourist sights. The bars/ restaurants in front can be a little noisy on the weekends. Personally feel the hotel could use an update feels old fashion in its decoration. The food was good. We were upgraded to a huge suite for a minimal up charge, but very worth it. Be careful on your selection of Meli√° hotels I think there are two in the general area.

Our stay at the hotel Melia was reasonably comfortable but on one of the days when the weather was very hot the air conditioner couldn't keep up and the room was a bit stifling. The hotel had fans whirring in the lobby and in the hallways to try to cool the hotel but the airconditioning system simply couldn't keep up night or day. Other than that the hotel was reasonably comfortable. Check-in was smooth and without incident. The hotel itself is showing its age and the rooms while clean were a bi... Read more

The hotel is showing its age and I have a hard time believing it is 5 star. That said the rooms are very clean and functional and the service e of the front desk and conference staff was very good. Recommended for stays required in this location. Competitive rates.

Hotel Melia is well situated in the downtown area near restaurants and within walking of several major tourist attractions. It is a very. Ic hotel, has everything you need in your room and on the premises including a swimming pool, spa, continental breakfast, etc. You have free wifi in the lobby but it costs if you want access in your room (very inexpensive like $6/day).

The Melia Buenos Aires is an upmarket four star hotel that is centrally located in ‚??down town‚?? Buenos Aires. It does not quite measure to a five star rating but still is a very good hotel. For comparison the Melia would be closer to Pullman level than a Sofitel. So many hotels rate themselves as five stars, I find it useful to compare hotels with global branded properties to better describe a rating. The Melia is a few minutes walk from Galerias Pacifico, which is an upmarket shopping compl... Read more

Went on business conference there. The room was ok but nothing special. I only stayed one night so I can not say too much about the service....except on Internet. When I checked in, I was asked how many devices I have. When I reached my room, it didn't really worked out...then I found I needed some voucher which they didnt provide when I checked in.... Rather average hotel but ok for both business and holidays. Very expensive over 200USD per night. Breakfast is average. Hotel is located in a q... Read more

Easy walking distance to city center. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. If we return to Buenos Aires we will probably stay at this hotel again. The value for the price of the room was well worth it.

Good hotel in the right district. Room was acceptable and the breakfasts first rate. We didn't have dinner here as we were recommended to La Nazarenes just down the road. The only reason we don't give the Melia a 5 start rating is that we asked for both our doonas (douvets) to be replaced with a blanket as it was far to hot and although we asked on 5 separate occasions we only had the one we found in the cupboard which wasn't a lot of good with twin beds. My darling wife insisted I should have i... Read more

Straightforward big box hotel with the service that goes along with it. Not very helpful and friendly reception staff. Well located in the Retiro district. Rooms comfortable and what you would expect from a big box hotel. Breakfast OK. I would probably opt for a room at the back at the hotel because a lot of noise in the front. TV english and spanish with a lot of choices. Spa in the hotel.

I booked this room last minute and got a great deal. I included breakfast but did not have the opportunity to enjoy it on my first morning due to a trip planned by buquebus to Montevideo. I thought the location speaks for itself. The staff was excellent. The room greatly appointed (superior room) and the bed comfy. There is a safe in the room, a few outlets, none near the bed unfortunately, so I disconnected the nightstand lamp. They have some English speaking channels for those non-spanish spea... Read more
