We stayed at Magnolia Hotel about five years ago and returned this past March. Although some of the staff has changed, the owner, Maria, continues to provide outstanding accomodations, attentive service and thoughful details throughout. Magnolia Hotel is 5-stars from start to finish. As was the case before, your day begins with the homemade breakfast, which is divine and is served in a bright dining alcove or in the intimate patio, just off the lobby. The staff are friendly and helpful. In the ... Read more

I spent two nights here and it was great! Besides the little sign, it's hard to see from the street that this is even a hotel, but just ring the bell (24h) and someone will open up. I felt safe here and had a very nice room. There's always someone at the front desk willing and able to help you. Breakfast is included and is good, not the regular kind cheap buffet. The best about this place is its location, bc only within 5 min walking you can reach amazing restaurants, bars, cafes (walk down to... Read more

Perfectly located for the up and coming areas of Palermo and Palermo Soho, with great nightlife and food just down the road. The hotel overall is fine, with nice touches here and there, and warm helpful staff, but the room we had was a little small, overcrowded with our two suitcases, and the bathroom was freezing cold (we visited in the autumn). It was impossible to uncurl in the pokey bathtub. The breakfast was mediocre. Stay here for the wonderful location and be surprised if it is bette... Read more

We booked for 3 nights but ended up staying for almost 3 weeks.......that says it all really. We were going to move on and stay elsewhere; we probably could have found another hotel just as good if we'd tried, but unlikely to have found a better. A very charming hotel with very helpful staff

We stayed in this lovely boutique hotel twice last month, both upon arriving at BA and when returning from the 7 lakes area. We had an absolutely beautiful time there, room was very spacious, very clean, breakfast was great, wifi in room worked well, and most of all-service was excellent! Staff was attentive, knowledgeable, kind and helpful, made us feel right at home and comfortable with our small baby. It is walking distance from all the nice streets and hang out places in Palermo but totally ... Read more

We had a large "patio room" on the second floor. Spacious with an excellent large king bed. Large bathroom with an good shower. Could use more drawer space and closet space, but minor problems. The owner Maria is lovely and attentive -- when our room was chilly the first day, she went out and bought a space heater. Then it turned out we weren't actually operating the heating system properly so it wasn't really even necessary. Staff also very friendly and responsive -- Francisco, Alexander a... Read more

If you're looking for a calm and cosy place in the trendiest neighborhood of Buenos Aires, this is it. We had an excellent experience at MAGNOLIA, last weekend of July 2016. Right at check-in, we got spontaneously offered an upgrade in a very spacious, well-decorated and comfortable room (we booked a regular one for 5 nights). Although a little bit cold at this period of the year (a rigorous winter), we easily managed additional blankets from reception. Located in Palermo, the hotel is at wa... Read more

We stayed with my husband on our Anniversary for a romantic weekend. Happy to have chosen this hidden special and romantic spot in Buenos Aires. The red wine in our room was excellent and the advice for the Tango Show we went to was perfect!!!!! Loved breakfast with home made marmalade and alfajores. Special thanks to friendly staff.

Cosy and relaxing in Palermo. We stayed 10 days, and every day we was met With high service and excellent breakfast. Short way walk into the centrum of Palermo. The room was big and silent. The wi-fi was not very fast, but was good enough for an holiday.

The hotel was the perfect way to finish up my first visit to Argentina. The best part of the hotel was the incredible staff-- friendly, knowledgeable, and ever so helpful! Thank you, Maria and Francisco! The hotel's touches were understated yet modern, and made you feel very comfortable. The hotel's location-- hidden in a very lively neighborhood-- also can't be beat. I can't say enough good things about my stay. I will definitely be back the next time I visit Argentina and Buenos Aires.

We booked the Magnolia as our basis for a complicated multi-location holiday in Argentina. All of our trips required us to be routing in and out of BA throughout our 2 weeks holiday. The Magnolia is ideally located within BA and the hotel could not have been any more helpful. The rooms are very comfortable; this is not the Sheraton or Hilton but a small boutique place where the personal service is key rather than a host of facilities you will never use. Comfortable rooms with a small balcony al... Read more

This is a great choice if you are a first time visitor to Buenos Aires. Its a huge city and trying to work out which area to stay can be confusing. The Magnolia is a great choice, safe area, quite at nighttime, easy walk to the subte metro station, easy to get taxis, short walk to lots of bars / restaurants / shops. Very comfortable bed. Good breakfast with fresh juices/fruits served individually rather than buffet style. Quite Air Conditioning. (AC) Areas for improvement: Wifi is ... Read more
