Excellent location, lots of buses and taxis nearby. Lots of homeless people on the surroundings made us feel uncomfortable and a bit insecure at night. Helpful and nice staff was the Strong point. All our demands were fulfilled.

The staff is really nice, we stayed for 6 nights (between 3 stays in December) and it was a great value for money. The rooms facing the park are a little bit bigger and hot water or AC was never a problem. The breakfast was a very good spread, we also left all our heavy luggage for 2 days when we went to the Iguazu water falls and the staff took amazing care of the luggage. Also they helped us book taxis at a great rate everyday, helped us with restaurants and eventually booked us a Tango show... Read more

Stayed here for two nights prior to joining a cruise. 2 nights and 1 glass of wine NZD120 so good value for money. Standard Ibis room so you know what you are getting. The main difference between that hotel and some other Ibis hotels is there were no tea/coffee making facilities however it did have a safe which was reassuring knowing that you needed to be security conscious, Staff friendly with varying degress of English spoken but they were willing to try or find a colleague who did speak... When looking at guidebooks and speaking to friends, we were advised to stay in the Palermo or Recoleta areas, as these were considered to be safer and more tourist-oriented. San Telmo and La Boca were considered to be less safe at night. Since we were going on a cruise in a few days, we wanted to be centrally located to both the downtown core and the port, so we decided to stay in the Monserrat area. We chose to stay at the Ibis Buenos Aires for 3 nights as we only needed a basic room to stay du... Read more

Had a great stay here, starting off with being able to check in before midday, with a room overlooking the park. The staff were very friendly and helpful, helping me book ferry tickets to Colonia. Didn't have any problems with the room, shower had plenty of hot water, a very comfortable large bed, and plenty of space in the room and bathroom. No fridge, but Ibis's rarely do, and was able to get plenty of ice whenever I needed it, from the 24 hr bar. A great location and would thoroughly recommend... Read more

Window broken and that made a noise with the wind. No refrigerator in the room, floor with holes between some stumps, bathroom flush too weak to wash away the excrements, old sheets in the bed. Very surprised to see this hotel in that state.

Very good location; friendly and helpful staff; clean; comfortable except for the mattress which was at the break of collapse (we asked for a change that was supposedly done but we saw no difference between before and after). The breakfast quality was inferior to other hotels of the same chain but good enough, except for the coffee that has a slight taste of chlorine (or other chemical). Very good cost benefit relation.

The hotel has a good cost x benefit. But there is not a refrigerator in the room. There are some restaurants near the hotel, however it is far from sightseeings so it is necessary to take a taxi or walk a lot to go to these places.

Well-located overlooking the park in front of Argentina's Congress building. Close to public transit and many good restaurants. Walking distance from key attractions. The hotel is aging a bit, and could use better maintenance of windows and plumbing. But still a good place to stay in a busy city.

I have booking for three days. They turn off the central refrigerator, and the air condicionar didn't work, Just because the days were cold for Argentina. They didn't let us finished our lunch in their the restaurant, just the food wasn't there. Small room...flys in the reception... around there aren't homeless. Not places to go. But the subway is near.
