I would assess this hotel as a good three star. It is a bit on the tired side but then it is not expensive (shop around). The staff are very helpful and friendly. The air conditioner was a bit "wobbly" but once going it was fine. The room was clean and had a refrigerator. It was generally quiet. The Wi-Fi worked well. The breakfast must have been improved following earlier comments and we found it to quite good and more than acceptable. It is well located in the centre near to the Metro station... Read more

Good evening, 3rd night in your hotel and despite 2 requests at reception our air conditioning still leaks, waking us up through the night with the constant dripping. Added to that we are very unhappy with the cleanliness of the room, linen and towels and especially the filthy pillows and counterpanes. I understand stars are awarded for accommodation in relation to the services provided, so a 3 star is valid. However, there is no excuse for grubby, dangerous and dirty accommodation. I look forw... Broken aircon which kept us awake despite repeated requests for it to be repaired, they just didn't bother. The unit had obviously been leaking a while as the floor benith it and adjoining wall was rotten, an indication of ongoing neglect...which was reflected through out the hotel. Dirty sheets and a generally run down appearence. They advertise they have a bar I never saw it open in fact I saw people turned away from it when trying to get a drink. This place is obviously on the downturn it's n... Read more

I selected it for its location. Very central & just a few steps away from the 'happening ' Florida Avenue In fact it is so central that you do not have to take a cab for most of your outings. The close by area is teeming with shops , bars , eateries of various standards , money changers , banks , boutiques & what have you. A bit on the minus , it is on a back street so does not look attractive & view is nothing to write. Reception is very small in keeping with the size of the hotel & is manne... Read more

Stayed 4 nights in May. Twin room on top floor (6th I think). Generally a good quality room. Had a bath which was fab! City view from balcony. Reasonably sized room. US $148 including breakfast for total of 4 nights. I think tax (~10%) may have had to be added. Room nice & clean. A few quirks... balcony sliding door could not lock and one bedside lamp not working (hotel never got around to fixing either). Breakfast buffet was plentiful & good quality... but breakfast dining area was overly warm.... Read more

Pros: Central location ?? short walk to subway, Casa Rosada, Catedral, restaurants and cafes. Small but charming boutique hotel. Room and bathroom were fine. Good maid service everyday. Cons: Front desk staff could be more personable. Unreliable WIFI in rooms. Breakfast was acceptable (not many choices).

This hotel is in a small side street but right in the centre. Buses past the door so rooms at the rear will be quieter than those at the front. The Metro is around the first corner . Another metro line is 3 blocks the other way. We found all the staff very helpful even to the extent of one giving me his Metro ticket. Beware in local resturants, you have to pay for use tablecloths etc. That's Ok but the charges can be greater than buying new ones.

Very central so easy to access attractions. Clean and comfortable room with a good shower in the bathroom and a safe. Nice buffet breakfast included in the price and friendly and helpful staff on hand.

The hotel has seen better days. now it is old and not so clean. we stayed here once, before travelling around in Argentina for some days. we thought it was convenient to book a room in the hotel once again efter travelling around in Argentina. It was convenienr to keep our some of our luggage till we are back. We do regret that... the rooms still so cold, and you can not really regulate the temperature with that so called airecon! we could only get shower in COLD WATER. the receptionist tells us... The buffet style breakfast was great! The coffee included was not great but you can buy Machine made coffee as well... The rooms were on the heavy side, old school, not my style but I'm not in Buenos Aires to stay in the room anyway... The location is good & the staff friendly...

I joined an Intrepid tour which started and ended at this hotel - two nights in total - and generally unimpressed. I could not wait to leave. The staff are most unhelpful, the location isn't great, especially on the weekends where there is no vibe or atmosphere in the area, and it's just old. Plus any hotel where they buzz you in and out of the front door is questionable. The only upside was the rooms were clean, but not a place I'd want to spend time and I certainly wouldn't recommend it to... Read more

Room is super fair. Great bed and shower, good service. Breakfast is satisfying too, try the sweet medialunas . Location is very good, close to Calle Florida, Plaza de Mayo. I would stay again and recommend to friends.

We decided to stay in this hotel because it was budget friendly. However there are few points on which hotel can work on and which doesn't cost a lot of money. 1. Welcoming - 3/5 just ok. Maybe it was a language barrier but when trying to explain to us, receptionist told: yes your room is free but is dirty so they need to clean it.. Just the way of saying can be different. 2. Rooms - 3/5 good 3. Breakfast - 4/5 very good but please make sure that what you offer is always available. We spent 3 n... Read more
