Overall the hotel it is pretty good special for the employee attention, the only thing that needs attention it is the room cleaning. The restaurant even if has a simple look the food it is really good, the breakfast also it is good with always taste media Lunas.

This is a good hotel. The room is confortable and the staff is very helpful in giving you tips about the city and helping you in directions and reservations. The breakfast is acceptable, although sometimes the replacement of the food is not as fast as you can expect. It is close to center of the city and close to a metro station, but you don't have lots of walking distance restaurants. So if you like to explore the neighborhood in the night, maybe this is not a greatest option you are going to h... Read more

The hotel is located well on the 9 de Julio Avenue. The best to say is about the very helpful staff. Don't be confused: the front desk people sometimes look grumpy but they will go out of their way to help you. Stayed here two times in two weeks. First time 11th floor with view to the street. Room not big but ok, everything in good order. Wireless a little weak. Second time 5th floor to the back. Not good. Room not very clean, broken window, broken curtains, broken door. Plus noisy from the huge... Read more

Stayed here for 10 days. The staff is kind and they speak Portuguese (due to the great number of brazilian tourists visiting Buenos Aires) and English. The room is confortable and clean. Everything worked in my room and the wifi connection was good as well. The breakfast was also very good, with many kinds of cakes, breads, fruits, juice and etc.

Good location, but very old hotel and small rooms. You have the feeling that the hotel has not been changed since the 80's, to the point that is a bit depressing. My room was very clean, but being so old gives you the feeling that is dirty. The service is very good, and the employees are very helpful. Breakfast is basic but good, and the coffee was very good. Being a Howard Johnson my expectations were low, so I was not surprised with what I found. There are other options in Buenos Aires.

I have mixed feeling about this hotel. The amenities are alright, if outdated. I myself have 15 years of experience in hotel management in the Caribbean ranging from backpacker's hostels to private island 5 star resorts. But no matter what the price range, there is a protocol to follow when dealing with guest complaints. I was attending a regional conference for NGOs representing sex workers in Latin America and the Caribbean. The hotel policy says it is anti-discriminatory, but I beg to... Read more

Been in there in September and was not so good experience so far. The breakfast is good. There is no much options but you have some choices. The room was awful. When we arrived the bathroom was terrible and actually there was "things" inside the toilet. I expect from a hotel that they clean the room after another host. The ar conditioner wasn't working and even being cold outside due the end of winter, the room was a bit hot and AC must be working. The location is good. Close from Subway line C... Read more

I stayed at the Howard Johnson and the lobby looks good, the staff is amazingly pleasant and the hotel is located within walking distance of San Telmo, Puerto Madero, La Casa Rosada, etc... So an ideal hotel to stay at. My only constructive feedback is that as clean as the hotel was, the carpeting needs replacing and some of the decor in the rooms needs to be updated so that it doesn't look so old or as unclean

The place is a little out dated but not a big deal. The staff is good not great. The free breakfast is the best thing about this place. They do not have a good computer system so make sure you have all of your reservation information at the ready.
