We stayed 1N, then left our big luggage with the hotel and went to Iguazu Falls for 2N. On return, we stayed another 3N. We stayed on the 8th floor then 7th floor, in a City View room with king bed. Not much of a view, but the bed was big and comfortable. Room and toilets are probably abit dated, but we had no issue with that. Only caution - in the bathtub, don't hold onto the glass divider for support as it is not fastened down and may move if you hold onto it. Otherwise, everything about t... Read more

Stayed here recently as we were going to lollapalooza and fancied a bit of a change from a hostel. The prices were cheaper than many other 4 stars in the area. Staff were excellent and the rooms were clean. The maids did a great job cleaning the room and they replaced used toiletries daily. The bed was large and comfy and the wifi was very good. Breakfast was substantial and included coffee, tea, juices, yoghurt and cereals, eggs, ham toast and a selection of pastries. On our day of departure we... Read more

I loved the sauna. Also the lobby bar and reception people, very naturally friendly. The room was spacious, clean and relatively quiet. The location is excellent. Very central and near all kind of transportation. Nevertheless, Suipacha is a relatively small street, which gives a sense of intimacy and privacy. Breakfast is free and abundant.

Very helpful staff, good location, connectivity to all the places. I will surely go back and visit the place. We had a good room, facing the street. It was difficult to reach the reception over intercom, but they were attentive when I went to talk to them.

This is the place to stay when you go toTucson! The setting is spectacular and the price was very reasonable for the amenities and the service we recieve. The staff was the best at any Hilton I have stayed at. Austin and Teresa at the front desk went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Pat the concierge was so helpful in her recommendations of activities and restaurants. This a great place for families or weddings. It's pet friendly also. We shall return again soon!

The pros of this hotel is location: near the "Puerto Madero Area" and "Rua Florida" and "Teatro Colon" attractions. The staff is very friendly with all guests. The Cons is that the shower is not that good for someone that really expects a relaxing shower after a long visiting day.

Great staff, good breakfast but lunch/dinner very overpriced. Perfect location, close to everything. They do money exchange at the hotel, pretty convenient. Great little buffet restaurant across the street. Down the street also a great restaurant that accepts all major currencies. Overall I liked the hotel very much.

Stayed here as a afterthought when another (potentially nicer) property's staff offended me. It was a decent place for a reasonable price. Location was very good. Staff very helpful. The had a computer and printer they called their business center. Worked most of the time, but was old and slow. The rooms were clean however the property was old. The breakfast was okay, plenty of food not nothing spectacular. They do have a small restaurant and bar on site. Overall a excellent staff in an aging p... Read more

The first thing I noticed when I arrived was that their lobby looks better in person than in pictures on the web. It looks dated, but there is certain grandeur to its wooden floor and gold railings. My husband and I were greeted warmly at the reception, and allowed us to checked-in 2 hours earlier. They assisted us in all our show bookings, shuttles and tours and everyone spoke English. Our room was not big, but had ample space to put our luggages in. The ceiling was quite low but we had a big... Read more

Martin and the other front staff were great. Very helpful with directions, booking cabs to and from the airport, and allowing a late check-out. It was nice to be greeted at the airport with a car that could fit our family and luggage. Breakfast was included in our reservation and included the typical fare-eggs, potatoes, meats, cheeses, fresh fruits and pastries. Try the dulce de leche spread for a little morning indulgence. There was also coffee and tea in the lobby. WiFi was free and worked... Read more

Stayed there for the night only. The hotel is in a great location, and it looks very nice. Room was ok. Breakfast was buffet style, which is always good, and included in the reservation (around $50 on expedia). Wifi was free.

Stayed here for the majority of our week in BA. Good value, clean, polite/friendly staff, and within walking distance to downtown attractions such as the National Congress and Pink House. Cons: Internet was slow at times and frequently dropped (so we would have to login numerous times in an evening). If you are attempting to work it could be an issue -- since we were on holiday and just using for personal internet browsing it was fine. **If you are the type of person who takes photos of a chi... My husband and I stayed at El Conquistador for 9 nights while visiting Buenos Aires and the surrounding areas. For the price, the hotel was a great option for us. We wanted to save money on our hotel so that we could spend money on food, souvenirs, etc. This hotel is a little older, but it has everything you need. They even exchange US dollars for Argentinian pesos (make sure you have 100 dollar bills...they don't like small bills). We also took advantage of the booking services that the hotel h... Read more

We stayed one night here on our way back to New York. The hotel is located in the center o the city we were able to walk to the main shopping district of Florida street in a few minutes. (which was our quest) The hotel is very nicely decorated, the lobby is open plan looking up to the first floor bar area. We stayed on the 9th floor just below the Breakfast dining area on the 10th. Breakfast was typical Argentinian, lots of pastries a small amount of hot food and fresh juices. The chairs and ta... Read more

We spent over a week at El Conquistador. Centrally located near Florida Street and 9 July Avenue. Also close to many other attractions. For lunch or dinner there are 2-3 restaurants within 100 yards or less. Grocery store right across from the hotel. If you want to buy bottled water you can pay 16 Peso for 2 litre bottle of water one block from the hotel. The grocery store across the hotel charges 22 Peso. The lobby is open area with seating on the main floor and upper floor. There is a restaura... Read more

Good location, great service. Breakfast is great, enough to skip lunch. Solid 2.5 stars. 12 minute walk to subway, 5 min to Florida. For dinner try Natasha restaurant 50 yards away. Air conditioning not there but it was not a problem for us. Currency exchange is available at reception at an acceptable rate.

We spent almost a week at El Conquistador and could not be happier. The location was very central, walking distance from the historic neighbors of Recoleta, Barrio Norte and the newer and hip Puerto Madero. The staff was really friendly and gave us really good advice. Breakfast was abundant and fresh. Overall, a great place to stay!

The hotel was in a very safe neighborhood and it was in a great location for travelers :) There were restaurants and shops all around the district and I felt comfortable walking around the area. Definitely worth checking out.

We booked a standard room and as soon as I told the front desk manager the reason to our trip to Buenos Aires, he upgraded us to one of their suites with the monument on the 9 de Julio Ave. Our stayed was short. Wifi of course was complimentary and their staff was extremely amicable. Thanks, Nicolas for handling our booking!

Rooms dont have ac, its central so be prepared to claim if its hot. Central rooms go to inner patios so you hear all noises. Breakfast is ok, location is good. Also had a problem with a flooded bathroom but its just part of not being maintained not a 4 star.
