We really liked this hotel and found it a perfect place from which to launch ourselves into the great unknown of Buenos Aires. It was beautiful, small, clean, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. The pool was small but the seating area around it was very pleasant. The rooms were perfect; simple and beautiful, with a/c and a fan, clean, pretty bathrooms. It was a good area in that you could walk to the hop off / hop on bus and the botanical gardens easily fr... Beautiful and cozy place to stay in Buenos Aires. Great location! Fantastic Breakky and Very friendly staff. The room had a great water pressure and after 6 weeks travelling around South America, it was just what we needed. Strongly recommended.

This little boutique hotel offers personalized service. It has great amenities and is perfectly located in Palermo. We enjoyed the little pool area and breakfast was excellent. Rooms are not very big but this is a small inconvenience compared to the rest.

We very much enjoyed our 4 night stay at the Duque hotel. The location is good a short walk from Palermo nightlife and a great base in Buenos Aires. Also only 4 blocks from the subway for getting around the city and downtown. The staff are lovely and friendly, offering advice, maps and even a borrow subway cards which you can load up to save the one off purchase. The hotel is a boutique hotel so the pool area whilst nice is v small and it does have a v small gym and indoor hot tub. We didn... Read more

Ideal for a solo traveller (elderly female). Lots of interesting shops within a couple of blocks and if a photographer - plenty of 'good' graffiti around (as opposed to the tagging seen in other places). Service was good, personnel knowledgeable and helpful.

While our stay at the Duque in BA (4 Nights) surely wasn't terrible, did we expect much more from the beautiful pictures and price of the Hotel. Let's start with the positive aspects: The area in which the hotel is located (Palermo) is great and my absolute recommendation for all Buenos Aires first timers. The service of the hotel was also exceptionally friendly and helpful. The negative aspects: I don't think that the SPA in the name of the hotel is deserved, as the only "spa'ish" aspects woul... The staff on the front desk could not have been more helpful - nothing was too much trouble for them, and always done with a smile. The hotel is located in a quiet street near to bars and restaurants. The pool was disappointingly small and not that inviting! We would recommend.

This was perfect, particularly after a long flight to a new, and very hot, destination. Small, personal, charming, a welcome haven from the heat and the buzz and the busy character of Buenos Aires. The pretty garden, with squashy sofas and small pool, were heavenly particularly when accompanied by a G&T, and there was a spa, sauna and jacuzzi in the basement, unused by us. Delicious breakfast, unlimited tea and coffee, cheerful and helpful staff - thoroughly recommended. Oh, and our best dinner ... Read more

We stayed here in Dec 2016 for four nights during our honeymoon. The staff couldn't have been nicer. Upon our arrival, they had flowers and wine for us, and helped us book many of our restaurant reservations in advance of our trip. The breakfast every morning (included in the rate) was relaxing and pleasant. The pool doesn't get much direct sunlight but is nice when it's hot for a quick cool down dip. The rooms and bathroom are a tad small but I suppose to be expected from a boutique hotel.... Read more

I stayed in a single room with balcony over inner courtyard. It was calm and cool. The bed and bath were comfortable. Both breakfast and the garden were very pleasant. I booked a massage at the reception and got Andrea. She gave me the best deep tissue massage that I ever had. Highly recommend. The heart of the Palerma Soho is just a 10 minute safe walk away.
