Excellent small hotel in the heart of Palermo. A way from the central tourist district. Great staff that will do anything for you. Excellent rooms. Although the street noise never stops the windows block it out. Well located within easy walking of the night; lot's of police keep everything very safe. Buenos Aires does NOT come alive until about 8PM and you will need reservations, which they will arrange, most any place decent. If you need a cab call from the hotel. They can easily arrange... We picked the Duque Hotel based on TripAdvisor reviews, and we were so glad we did! We stayed three nights at the end of April. The staff: The front desk staff were so kind and helpful. Upon arrival at the Duque from AEP airport, we realized my husband's passport had gotten left behind at the money exchange place at the airport. The front desk employee immediately sprung into action to help by calling the airport to track it down and then called us a cab. The good news is, we got the passport ... Read more

I literally can't fault this hotel. Loved everything about it. The staff were so friendly and helpful even before we arrived - emailing about best airport arrival options, tango shows etc. they helped us book both. So friendly the whole time and every staff member held the same high standard. Room was cosy but enjoyed the large bed and great shower. The whole hotel does have a lovely 'boutique' vibe to it. Breakfast is a treat - yummy coffee, great choice of breads and condiments, they make you ... Read more

It is one of the coolest boutique hotels in Buenos Aires. The decor is elegant and smart, the service is great, and the breakfast is sensational. The rooms are comfortable and silent. Great location, in the middle of Palermo Soho! A must go.

My husband and I totally enjoyed our 4 day stay here! Our room was comfortable. All the staff members were kind and helpful and we did meet them all! They are even kind and helpful before you arrive! Very accessible by email to answer all of your questions. It's also nice that they will help you figure out tours that you want and book them for you. We absolutely loved staying there and the coffee and pastries all day are a really bonus as well as the wonderful breakfasts

I stayed here for 1 week while on a conference visit to BA, based on previous good reviews to which I am happy to add. I then returned for 1 night on my way back out of BA after some days of traveling. The hotel has a classical entrance facade and modern back area with small garden, and is in a residential street of Palermo, within a few minutes waking distance of the metro and with plenty of places to eat nearby. The area felt safe at all times of day or night. Reception staff were exceptionall... Read more

The staff here set the tone, so friendly helpful and kind and operated way beyond "the call of duty". Lovely hotel in a great great location, comfortable and spacious room, lovely decor, good breakfast. Recommended a fantastic restaurant around the corner which did a magnificent steak.

We booked this hotel for a weekend getaway. We loved the way the hotel was decorated and the room was small but perfect for just the two of us, however, this hotel is a winner in our book because of the customer service we received. The staff has such a great attitude and they were all so helpful in getting us settled in our room and mostly giving us ideas about restaurants and places to visit. Cindy was great and every place she recommended turned out to be an excellent experience during our tr... Read more

The Duque is charming, cozy, comfortable, impeccably clean and in a good location for our purposes. We walked everywhere. However, our stay was particularly memorable because of the extraordinary staff who are genuinely welcoming, warm, kind and helpful. The hotel is perfectly well-appointed although not in a grand, chic or hip style. The rooms are very comfortable and of a nice size for a small hotel (we stayed in 2 different rooms at each end of our trip.) The all-hours coffee/tea bar came in ... Read more

The hotel is in a lovely neighbourhood of BA. The service was great and the staff really helped with organising activities and gave valuable tips on places to see and things to do, Cindy deserves a special mention! The 24 hour coffee machine coupled with some lovely home made cakes is a nice touch. We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Duque and would definitely return!

Hotel rooms are a good size and toilets were modern. Breakfast is great and you have lots to choose from. Spa is very small and you need to book appointments in advance as beautician is not onsite. Staff are extremely helpful with everything from booking tours, giving directions, helping with transport and advice of where to go around the city. SOHO is a good area to be in and the Main Street with all the bars etc is only around 4 blocks away.

We had a wonderful stay in this hotel. We spent the last part of our honeymoon there and the staff surprised us with chocolates in our room. The staff is extremely nice and helpfull, you can ask anything and they always help you with a big smile. The room was very clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed. It was nice to spend an hour in the spa every day, we were always alone which made it very romantic and intimate. The breakfast was amazing!

This beautiful hotel has everything you need. It has a great location, near Palermo Soho, with very good restaurants two blocks away, a lovely bedroom and one fine breakfast, a sauna, swimming pool and a really comfortable outside area where you can just relax. The staff is genuinely nice and helpful. I loved it, wouldn't stay anywhere else in BA.

Very nice and friendly athmosphere. Like they said: "Your home during your stay at BA". Staff was super friendly and helpful. Small garden to get outside too. Duque┬┤s location is near Soho Palermo, there are plenty of good restaurants and bars. Soho is very nice are otherwise too.

We stayed 2 nights in this hotel and enjoyed a clean and comfortable room. We had a slight plumbing issue that resolved itself, but had it not we would have had to wait until the morning and were told of we needed a toilet we had to go downstairs to the public toilet. Luckily it resolved itself but it was close to being quite an inconvenience. The front desk staff was incredibly nice and helpful, especially Nahuel. He helped with restaurant suggestions, sights to see, the best ice cream in Bueno... Read more

I enjoyed a 5 day visit at this great small boutique hotel. The rooms were clean and cosy, the facilities were great and most importantly the friendly and attentive service by the reception staff was exceptional across the five different staff members. They were kind and friendly and were always willing to assist in recommending activities and restaurants when requested. The afternoon tea delights were also something to look forward to as well. We would highly recommend this hotel and would stay... Read more

This is an incredible hotel. The staff is INCREDIBLE!!! We had a friend get sick while in Buenos Aires and they brought her meds and checked on her multiple times. The breakfast is scrumptious, all day/night espresso/latte/hot chocolate machine rocked, and the rooms were nice and clean. They were knowledgable and very helpful in giving shopping/eating/entertainmemt/tourist information, including marking maps for us. They stored our luggage for us before checkin and after check out which made ... Read more

We stayed one night, my sister and her husband stayed three nights. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay as the hotel is well located and is very clean, has super friendly staff, serves a good breakfast and has character in the old building. The common areas for relaxing are very comfortable and welcoming. Only drawback was the bathroom could do with a bit of renovation (shower leaked and fittings were a bit tired) but it was very clean so only a minor point. Overall a wonderful boutique hotel w... The hotel is in a good location in a nice part of Buenos Aires. There is a small square down the road with numerous nice restaurants and cafes and it is close to Don Julio which is one of the most established steak houses in BA (go there, it's great!). It is about a 15 minute walk from the metro station. The room itself was small, there wasn't a lot of storage and it was difficult with two large suitcases to have them open and be able to move, but it was nicely decorated and clean. The staff wer...
