Had 2 single night transit stays in the hotel. Felt very welcome and staff were friendly and helpful. All our interactions with staff were in English as we can unfortunately not speak Spanish, and this was not a problem.

A stunning hotel in a lovely street near a lot of upmarket boutiques and restaurants. The rooms are great, the linen of high quality and it is a very impressive building. My only complaint is that The staff was so professional they come across as cold and absent.

Gorgeous hotel. Immaculately kept. Extremely comfortable. Concierge service took care of our every request. The concierge arranged a Tango Show and dinner at a great steak house. The Alvear Palace Hotel made our Buenos Aires experience complete.

My family lives in Buenos Aires and so I travel there very frequently. Every time I'm there I always make sure to have tea at least once (or often several times) at the Alvear Palace. They still use the traditional silver, the elegant china from Christofle and other high end houses, and the service is absolutely impeccable with servers in their starched uniforms and perfect training. If possible, be sure to ask t... Read more

We spent three nights at this fine hotel situated within walking distance of many popular sights. Our bedroom was typical of many city hotels being of modest size but adequately furnished with the usual facilities. Being a corner room, the bathroom was irregular in shape and narrow in places but had the usual quality amenities. Breakfast was good and service throughout the hotel was excellent - particular mention should be made of the fact that the hotel noticed that it was my wife's birthda... Read more
