Great place. Lots of pools and beach areas, food is good for all inclusive. Drinks are plentiful. Service was a little hit or miss depending on the staff on duty but generally excellent. Entertainment during evening could be better but it's fine.

My wife and I just came back from a 1 week stay there during 2nd week of May. We chose this resort over others due to the high star rating from Google and TripAdvisor. The bottom line is that I will not be returning to this resort in the future. The Good: - The resort itself is beautiful and well positioned on the Antigua Island with 2 beaches, a traditional beach facing the Atlantic side and a calm, and lake like beach. We have been to DR, Cuba resorts but have not been seen resort like this ... Read more

From the easy check-in to the very last morning, St. James Club did not disappoint. A very nice all-inclusive with staff that are very helpful and happy. Eat at the buffet or reserve a sit down dinner 1 day in advance. Breakfast buffet is great but you can also select items from a separate menu (perfect poached eggs every time). One of the nicest "perks" is no towel cards or drink bracelets. Just great fun at a resort with an ocean and bay side beach, no crowds and plenty of relaxing fun.

Booked through Interval International during mid-May (off season, resort at about 60% capacity). Upon arriving our "Premium" room was unavailable so we were upgraded to Ocean Front in Papaya - AWESOME). Just didn't like that you couldn't turn your porch/deck light off at night. Room was very clean, but we learned that the AC unit has a motion sensor - so don't turn it low, leave the room, and come back expecting it to be cool. Website made it sound like special diets couldn't really be accommoda... Read more

This hotel is suitable for young and old with many different facilities to suit all tastes. The Royal Suites are beautifully positioned opposite the bay with lovely views of the water and sunsets. Both restaurants serve good buffet choices in a relaxed atmosphere. The beach of Mamora bay is lovely sands and the beach bar and grill is a wonderful asset and friendly place to meet up. The water sports are very popular and run by a great team. Hobie Kat sailing, kayaks, pedalos, surf boards, wind su... Read more

We booked this resort the last week of May into June. We purchased a voucher that we thought entitled us to a week for free at the resort as part of a charitable auction. After negotiating with Elite Resorts starting in November with the hope of getting a week in the winter we finally found a week at the end of May. The free part of the voucher was the room- we still needed to purchase the All-Inclusive portion which ended up being $2200 U.S. The trip with airfare ended up costing $6000 Canadian... Read more

My wife and I had the wonderful opportunity of attending a conference at the St. James Club and Resort in Antigua and Barbuda this past week. The property is top quality. The service at the resort was amazing. Everyone greeted us with a smile and "Good Day" wherever we went. The food was plentiful and the drinks were fantastic. If you ever have a chance to go to Antigua, I strongly recommend you stay at St. James Club and Resort. I promise you will not be disappointed.

My husband and I stayed at St James's club and Villas in Antigua for our 10 year wedding anniversary. This resort had absolutely everything we were looking for in a relaxing retreat. We did the all inclusive package. The food and drinks were excellent. I loved getting a breakfast omelet from Sandra in the mornings at Rainbow Restaurant. The Docksider Restaurant was fun in the evenings and had great entertainment. The resort itself is immaculate. We especially loved the Reef Deck Pool. We got o... Read more

We have been going to St. James's Club for over 16 years. We are always welcomed like family. This past year I had health issues before our visit....when the staff found out, they went out of their way to make our stay wonderful. The villas are great and the food is delicious. The beaches give everyone their own space. Condace in the Rainbow Garden dining room is an institution there who makes everyone feel like VIP's!

Check in and transfer to room efficient. Was given a map of the resort but think now it would also be helpful to have a copy of the timetable for the Restuarants available each day. (Saves having to go to the notice board everyday) also I think it would be good idea to have a copy of the daily activities available either delivered to your room the night before or to be picked up at breakfast. Both beaches are just lovely, and yes on one side some seaweed, but resort have staff moving it away a... Read more

I'm surprised at the great reviews, I always rely on this website for insight. My husband and I have been to many resorts in the caribbean. We are owners of a few timeshares and traded a 1BR villa for a room May 14-21. I waited a while before posting this review because I wanted to process the experience before I judged too harshly but I have come to the conclusion that my perceptions are still the same. So, I will do my best to be fair... Upon our arrival, after a long and bumpy ride from the... Read more

Just back from ten days at The St James's Club. Overall experience was good, with just a couple of niggles that prevented it being an excellent one. Our first impression of the hotel was not good. We arrived and the reception area was not great. Looked very 1970's and the bar - the Jacaranda Bar - looked like the inside of a working man's club from that era. However, we then moved onto our room - a Royal Suite. This gave us a separate private check in, a personal concierge service and some vouc... Read more
