Award-Winning Kidz Club: Families love the St. James`s Club and Villas, especially for its complimentary, award-winning Kidz Club. Here, children ages 4 to 11 (potty-trained, please) enjoy exciting, creative activities with a big serving of Caribbean flair, from treasure hunts and crab races to fun crafts such as mask-making and finger-painting. The caring and experienced counselors keep children entertained with guided nature walks, swimming and snorkeling excursions, even limbo dancing and lively kiddie beach games.
Our welcoming Kidz Club facility is designed with kids in mind, and its large, fenced play yard lets children safely enjoy a shady outdoor play space. The Club is open daily from 10:15 a.m. to 6:15 p.m. and children are welcome to dine here on most evenings so parents can enjoy some quality time - alone. In the evenings, children can enjoy dinner and a movie at the Kidz Club while mom and dad relax and enjoy an off-site excursion, or the ambiance at any of the resort`s restaurants. In-room babysitting is also available for an additional fee.
St. James`s Club offers teens their own space as well. Right on beautiful Mamora Bay, the tent-covered center allows teens a place to relax and hangout. The Teen`s Club has a ping pong and pool tables, as well as games, and is set right along the sand volleyball courts.
The Pools: It`s always cool by the pool, so St. James`s Club Guests can chill out in a new location anytime they like: Each of the resort`s six pools has its own distinctive personality. The inviting main pool is centrally located just off the Rainbow Garden restaurant, with a wrap-around glass wind screen; it offers its own Reef Deck Bar and a friendly atmosphere, suited to those who want to cool off or mix and mingle. The children`s pool is a splashy gathering spot for kids 12 and under. Kids can frolic in safety while their parents relax nearby in a chaise lounge. Tucked into its own little hillside corner, the three-tier Tranquility Pool is just the spot for a peaceful dip or a poolside snooze - it`s for adults only. The fourth pool, a place to lounge or take a post-meal dip, is adjacent to Coco Beach Restaurant and Bar. Two new pools are set within the new Royal Suite, featuring beautiful waterfall and landscaping.
After dark, there is a choice of four restaurants set either in the gardens, on the hillside, or right down by the water`s edge; the cocktail bars and live music take night owls into the wee hours.
