This was our first time to Antigua. We researched a few different Islands but chose Antigua because of the Hawksbill write up. We do not like big hotels so when we read the write up, we felt this was a perfect hotel for us to celebrate our 20 year Anniversary, and we were not disappointed. Stayed in the Beachfront Bungalows. Would recommend as you are just steps from the beach. The view from the verandah was breathtaking. As mentioned in other reviews, the renovations were ongoing. For th... Read more

Gt to be back at Hawksbill. Staff working well as a team. Alot of work has taken place but would be nice to have in reception on wall the 'Vision' that Rex is working towards. Was nice to have lunch bbq cooked fresh again. For customers staying longer than a week more food selection would b good. But as alwats a lovely 10 night stay.Thx to Jon Darryl and the team.

The staff here are great and the food was always of a good standard. Lunch was outstanding with fresh food from the grill or sandwiches made to order. The egg chef at breakfast was always on top form. We had a garden view room which was in a great location but was tired, It was kept clean and fresh but is showing its age.

Sadly missed last years trip to Hawksbill due to overrunning building work and was a little apprehensive on the first visit of the year following the recent comments on this site and that some of the character may have been lost due to the changes made. What a more than pleasant surprise to see that the work done to date can only have a positive effect on customer experience. The extension of the roof at Sea Grapes made it a very pleasurable experience to eat at lunchtimes. The installation ... Read more

My wife and I just returned from Hawksbill on a 5-day stay. We liked the resort very much overall, but that is because it had the amenities we value most. Most important to us, the 4 private beaches that make up this property are stunning. Eden Beach, the nude beach, which seemed to get about half the beach users overall, is absolutely fabulous. We like to snorkel and be in the water a lot, and the Hawksbill rock, which is a 200 meter swim offshore of Eden Beach, was very good. Other good t... Read more

Having read numerous positive reviews I decided to give this resort one more try. This is our 5th visit and can confidently say it is the loyalty of the repeat guests that keep Hawksbill going. On arrival to our Beachfront Club Room on the Royal Palm Beach I was pleasantly surprised at the improvements to the bathroom and the new large bed. As this was our first trip to Antigua I was a little bit apprehensive as we both are close to retirement and to be honest I was not inspired when I alighted from the taxi as the décor looked a bit tired. From this point things only got better, the view from our room was stunning looking out across the bay on one of the four beaches we had ... Read more

A lovely week at Hawksbill enjoyed by all our family group, including four in their twenties. The location is the star here. It??s a real ??Wow!?? when the taxi turns the corner and the view over the sea opens up. Four beautiful, unspoilt beaches, pretty much deserted when we were there in the first week of June. Delightful location on the North East coast. Some recent refurbishment has improved the package but more needs to be done. One senses the management strategy is to spend the minimum purely to maintain the profit line. The peaceful concept without telephones has merit, but WiFi throughout the estate rather than just in the reception area would help. Telephone kiosks, currently not functional towards the estate periphery would assist in an emergency. The nude bathing beach is of course a great fea... Read more

Ours was spacious, comfortable and clean and a few steps from the sand, although the air conditioning did leak on the floor rather drastically.
