Having travelled here from a boutique hotel in St Lucia our experience was quite hard to compare so to avoid bias I thought it would be best to write a list of pros and cons about the hotel. Pros: Management staff were very accomodating and welcoming. We stayed in a cove suite which has 2 bedrooms, bathroom and a large balcony. Very spacious and great for our 1 year old. We were right by the beach and pool too. Food was lovely. Pools were clean and warm. Family friendly - majority of staf... Read more

Blue Waters is almost perfect. Let's do the negatives first- - The mosquitos! Virtually everyone there at the same time as ua was like me, badly bitten, Insect repellent was ignored by the mossies so we just all got eaten. - Hairdyers in the Cove suites are not good. - A couple of bits of the gym equipment need fixing( pedal straps on exercise bike and rower.) That's it for the bad! Now the good! - Staff are fantastic. From gardeners, waitresses (especially Doreen) bar staff (angela was amazing... Read more

A real gem, having stayed at several properties across Antigua. Staff could not be more friendly (genuine), the rooms and amenities are amazing, food, beach, ambience and feel of the property... splendid. A very pleasant experience and a notch above the rest in this market and region of choice properties.

We enjoyed our 10-day stay at Blue Waters, chiefly due to the exceptional staff that were just truly exceptional. There was not an interaction across our time at BW that was not friendly. The people on Andy's staff are true professionals, but they're also truly wonderful people. I usually spend a lot of time reading TA reviews while planning a vacation, and I am immensely glad I selected BW. However, I had a lot of questions that reviews did not answer, so I will focus this review primarily on ... Read more

Right on the beach. Staff friendly and helpful. A simple transfer from the airport and a cool drink upon arrival made for a welcome reception. The deluxe rooms were comfortable and afforded a partial sea view, with a spacious balcony, though the oversized and spacious bathroom ensured the size of the actual room was somewhat compromised. Overall the room was adequate but not exactly five stars, similarly to the resort itself which was pleasant, well maintained and provided a relaxing atmosphere but once again not exactly worthy of five stars.... This hotel mostly has excellent feedback. Our experience is disappointing, the staff here are generally lovely the room is nice but we have arrived to be told they have closed the Cove restaurant and they are about to close the main bar for renovation. There is apparently another nice restaurant but that is also closed. The service in the buffet restaurant is poor and we have resorted to room service rather than enduring that again. I was told when I arrived here I would come back but I don't th... Read more

just arrived back from a fantastic trip we stayed in a hillside suite which was fantastic, plenty of room for 3 adults the staff were great, everyone acknowledged you when they saw you , a nice friendly touch and they liked a bit of banter. the general manager and main chef were always asking if everything was ok and if youd enjoyed the food which was the best all inclusive food weve had and weve being doing them for 10 years. the beach was first class and sunbeds very comfortable in all we wi... Following a poor review, the manager (Alistair) took time to speak with us (and other guests) about our concerns. It's refreshing to come across management who not only listen, but immediately take action to ensure guests receive the best attention Planned work on the reception / bar areas has been postponed and the Cove restaurant will reopen on Friday (despite further challenges). Whilst the manager offered us some special attention, it is his attention to detail which has most impressed us... Read more

Stayed at Blue Waters for 10 nights for our 25th Anniversary. Absolutely blown away with this place. Staff from Alistair the manager, Gina, Tashaun on the desk right through to all the bar, waiting on, restaurant staff and maids & groundskeepers were warm, friendly and genuinely wanted to make sure you were enjoying your holiday to the fullest. We were given a wonderful champagne breakfast for our anniversary which was great. Special shout out to Carolyn & Joe on the beach & pool bars. We were a... Read more

Beautiful hotel on 3 picture postcard beaches / coves, 2 pools plus a wrap around decking area over the sea for sunbathing giving Plenty of space for everyone and was never crowded. Also a floating platform off the cove to swim out to and sunbathe. 3 restaurants all different and excellent food at each. You have to book in at each and we alternated between the 3. Would definately recommend doing all inclusive as there is no where really to walk out to. Great beach bar open from around 11am. Stay... Read more

This hotel is one of the best i have visited in the Caribbean and i have stayed at many. The grounds, food, beach and service are right up there with some of the best. There is one particular restaurant on the property called "The Cove", one of the best hotel restaurants not to be Michelin star I believe.

We stayed at Blue Waters for 12 nights in a hillside room and adjoining hillside room for our daughters. The rooms were very spacious and clean and with a mini bar that was stocked as often as you requested it to be. The hotel provided mosquito sprays in your rooms so you could spray before you went out in an evening. The rooms were also sprayed every other day and the resort itself fogged 3 times a week. As it was August and very hot, there were lots of mosquito's and I was unfortunately bitten... Read more

We don't normally go back to the same hotel twice - however we had such a good time in June this year that we decided to go back to Blue Waters - it didn't disappoint - in fact it was probably even better. Alastair the manager - and all of his staff - go above and beyond to ensure your stay is perfect. We had a couple of hiccups but they went out of their way to make amends. I can honestly say I've never seen customer service like it - and my husband and I travel a lot. The resort it beautiful, ... Read more

The hotel amenities, food and service is 5 star. The beach is beautiful and private. The service is the best I have ever experienced and the variety and quality of the food was top class. We stayed in a Junior beach double room which was superb. When we arrived at the front desk they said "Welcome to Paradise" trust me it was.

Myself and husband stayed here for 2 weeks at the beginning of the month for our honeymoon. After a not so great start with our airline losing our luggage for two days, Alistair made sure to organise toothbrushes, tooth paste etc which we were extremely thankful for! All staff members were fantastic and nothing was too much bother....big thanks to the two young water sports men who helped me save a trapped bird from a palm tree!! We had read some bad reviews about the food not being so great bu... Read more

Where on Earth do I begin. We arrived at the hotel reception to be greeted by a lovely rum punch and a very warm greeting from duty manager Nella and the hotel,s GM a Mr Alistair Forrest, a general manager with an impressive global CV of fine hotels and it really shows. We were told that as we arrived during off peak season, we would be upgraded by the management team and were relocated from the room we had originally booked to the sublime Turtle cottage, one of three separate villas on the r... I stayed 3 nights in a hillside room as part of my cousins wedding party. The room was clean and spacious and with a balcony. Somewhat disappointingly they were renovating the "adult" pool which was close to my room (block 900) which meant I got the sights and sounds of all the building work whenever I sat on my balcony rather than a sparkling blue pool as in the pictures... stayed in March/April 2016 in one of the Cove suites - very large room with super balcony looking over the sea, spacious and well appointed in very way, we shared a pool with other guests in our building. The grounds are beautiful and it doesnt feel crowded in any way. staff were charming, some services worked very well others were a little haphazard - ordered some wine for the room that never came, couldn't always get hold of our butler on the phone we were given - but overall everybody was h...
