Having travelled here from a boutique hotel in St Lucia our experience was quite hard to compare so to avoid bias I thought it would be best to write a list of pros and cons about the hotel. Pros: Management staff were very accomodating and welcoming. We stayed in a cove suite which has 2 bedrooms, bathroom and a large balcony. Very spacious and great for our 1 year old. We were right by the beach and pool too. Food was lovely. Pools were clean and warm. Family friendly - majority of staf... Read more

The hospitality from the blue waters staff is second to none in the world. They truly care that your stay is comfortable and fulfilling whether you are getting married, bringing the kids, or just relaxing with a book by the pool.

Blue Waters is almost perfect. Let's do the negatives first- - The mosquitos! Virtually everyone there at the same time as ua was like me, badly bitten, Insect repellent was ignored by the mossies so we just all got eaten. - Hairdyers in the Cove suites are not good. - A couple of bits of the gym equipment need fixing( pedal straps on exercise bike and rower.) That's it for the bad! Now the good! - Staff are fantastic. From gardeners, waitresses (especially Doreen) bar staff (angela was amazing... Read more

A real gem, having stayed at several properties across Antigua. Staff could not be more friendly (genuine), the rooms and amenities are amazing, food, beach, ambience and feel of the property... splendid. A very pleasant experience and a notch above the rest in this market and region of choice properties.

We enjoyed our 10-day stay at Blue Waters, chiefly due to the exceptional staff that were just truly exceptional. There was not an interaction across our time at BW that was not friendly. The people on Andy's staff are true professionals, but they're also truly wonderful people. I usually spend a lot of time reading TA reviews while planning a vacation, and I am immensely glad I selected BW. However, I had a lot of questions that reviews did not answer, so I will focus this review primarily on ... Read more

Hotel and location great. Room very comfortable with lovely decor. Great bathroom with Elemis shampoo/conditioner,shower gel and hand/body moisturiser. Mini bar stocked up every day. Right on the beach. Staff friendly and helpful. Choice of 3 restaurants food good ..only downside are the mosquitos (everywhere, despite spraying by staff) and birds fllying around in the Palm Restaurant landing on the tables and chairs. Staff bring cold towels, drinks and fruit on the beach which are very refreshi... Read more

From the moment you walk into the lobby at Blue waters you sense this place is different. We were greeted by members of the management team, given a cool towel and cold drink whilst they checked us in; no queuing at reception in Blue Waters! This pretty much sums up our experience at this resort, you get on with enjoying your holiday whilst they take care of you. All three restaurants offer a great variety of quality foods, even for the fussiest of eaters! The bands and Steel bands playing at... Read more

Our first trip to the Carribean could not have been better. Firstly the airport is such an easy, friendly experience and certainly set us up for our resort. Now to the resort. Our Blue Waters experience was absolutely flawless. There were many firsts for us during our 10 day stay here are a few: 1. Antigua hospitality. Just outstanding. All the staff we encountered wanted to ensure our holiday was superb. Nicole our concierge (suites and villa manager), couldn't do enough to ensure we had ever... Read more

My husband and I visited for a week in January as part of a longer trip to the Caribbean to celebrate our 30th birthdays. One of the best weeks of my life! Very short trip from the airport to the hotel, no more than 20 minutes. Everyone we meet is friendly and very welcoming. On arrival we are greeted with open arms and immediately offered a rum punch - fantastic. Reception and quick and thorough but also you get right into that laid back Caribbean atmosphere. Our room was superb! We had a sui... Read more

My wife and I traveled in the off-season to Antigua and stayed at Blue Waters for 5 nights/6 days. The resort is a repeat getaway for British and American couples/families.Once you go here you will understand the repeat business. The attentive customized service gives the resort an intimate feel. The resort itself is very well maintained. The rooms, restaurants, bars, pools, and landscaping are all immaculately and vigilantly maintained. The beach is superb. We stayed here in May 2016 to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. I can honestly say this is the best hotel we have stayed in, and we have stayed in a lot of 5* hotels. From the minute we first arrived, and constantly throughout our stay no-one could do enough for us. The food was incredible, the location was so picturesque, the staff were all amazing and tentative to our every need. We were treated like royalty. This made our anniversary one to remember and as special, if not more than wha... Read more

A simple transfer from the airport and a cool drink upon arrival made for a welcome reception. The deluxe rooms were comfortable and afforded a partial sea view, with a spacious balcony, though the oversized and spacious bathroom ensured the size of the actual room was somewhat compromised. Overall the room was adequate but not exactly five stars, similarly to the resort itself which was pleasant, well maintained and provided a relaxing atmosphere but once again not exactly worthy of five stars....
