This hotel is very old, rooms are damp and restaurants have very little choice of food. In addition to that it's far from the city. You need 30 min drive minimum to reach city center. In addition to that everything is expensive. The only thing that's 5 start in this hotel is the price. There is a little mall near by with a good court where you can have cheaper meals.

Excellent location, on the seaside with a nearby supermarket and the possibility to go out jogging and walking on the beach. Breakfast, buffet style, is excellent too with a large variety of foods for all different taste. Rooms are spacious and the bed is very comfortable. Each room has a blacony with a wonderful seaview! I would definitely go back again.

Many years ago since I last stayed and was hoping for a good stay. Alas it didn't materialise. Check in experience was good after passing through good security at the main entrance but was ushered by the airport style lobby security via the side door so avoiding it. Got to my room at 2.30pm to find the ac wouldn't cool, no towels, the standard lamp not working and the room fading and dated. Damaged paint and bathroom with a chipped sink and dangerously hot water from the faucet and shower. Pleas... Read more

Torn and used for many years towels and broken pot greeted me this time!! Simply disappointed with my stay this time. It is pretty old and depleted hotel and simply not Hilton standard.

Nice hotel located just next to the sea shore. its close proximity to a shopping complex is a add on as you have multiple eating options in that complex. Hotel is in an isolated area so i would not recommend to walk around in dark.

Very disappointed with my stay at this hotel. On top of this I am still waiting or a response to my original complaint. It appears that the Hilton in Algiers thinks its ok to ignore loyal customers, on the hope they will disappear. I have suspended my usage of the Hilton brand until I get a satisfactory response.

If this hotel wasn't a Hilton, it would be really ok! But as a member of a five star hotel chain barely reaches the standards. The hotel is partially under renovation, which is a good thing in many ways. The rooms really need renovation, although the beds are very good. But in overall the rooms are pretty much outdated. The wi-fi both in the lobby and in rooms is great. The selection at breakfast is good. But you rarely see so many members of staff that ignore you inside the restaurant. They ... Read more

Hilton Alger is the best family hotel in Algiers. I spent over a month at the hotel with my wife and 2 kids during summer 2016. The hotel has a great breakfast spread, nice pool and amazing internet. The rooms may not be as modern but the service and friendliness of staff more than covers for it. It is very conveniently located and close to city center and all the shopping areas. I would recommend this, especially to families with kids visiting in summers.

Almost every night very loud music plays outside at the garden/pool outside my room until 2am, despite most of the time theres only a handfull of people there. Wouldnt recommend staying if you have important early meetings or flights. Its been going on for over week. Many guests have complained and it still goes on. Music is unbearable even with doors fully shut, while they should be left open due to the AC not working in the entire hotel. Other than this, staff are friendly and helpful.
